Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1048: Garam’s Trump Card

”Gravity and Space Fusion, Distortion Realm.”

The snake somehow turned around and flew back to the ground at the same speed.

”What?” Garam stared at the curse with his eyes wide open. ”What kind of power is this?”

Garam had never seen anything like this before. The combination of two domains? Was it even possible? There was no record of anyone achieving such a feat in the past.

In other words, Evelyn was the first. He couldn’t help but clench his hands into fists. One more time, he was defeated by talent.

It reminded him of what he had experienced in the past.

”You’re so good, Leyfon. At this rate, Master will have to rely on you in the future.”

”Leyfon, you are...”

”Leyfon...”

”See your senior brother!”

All the time, he had been compared to his senior brother, Leyfon. He never had the favor of his master. That was why he thought he would be freed from the comparison when Leyfon left.

However, Leyfon ended up making a name for himself, causing his master to compare them again and again.

His mind was filled to the brim with the comparison that he couldn’t care less whether it was just a casual remark. He ignored the fact that his master had never really given any preferential treatment. If Leyfon got it, he would receive the same thing.

That was why he felt like he finally got some hope when those people came to this continent.

They took advantage of him, but the same applied to them. He used them to get stronger. Finally, he became a world class summoner.

Yet, before he could show his revenge to the world for comparing him with Leyfon continuously, Nathan came his way.

Nathan stopped him again and again. This time, his woman was Leyfon’s disciple. And there was Evelyn, a woman with an overwhelming talent like Leyfon.

All his efforts had gone to waste because of all these geniuses. It would have been better that they hadn’t existed.

Unfortunately, reality was cruel. Before him, the curse that contained even his organs splattered before him. It was a curse that was supposed to reach its target no matter what.

Yet, it looked as if it had reached the target but got repelled to the ground.

When he thought he had finally gained the upper hand, this so-called genius somehow found another way to turn the situation around. He was sick of it.

However, no matter how much of a genius Evelyn was, there was a limit to what a human body could do, let alone when her body was unstable.

”!!!” Evelyn put her finger on top of her lip and saw blood sticking to her finger. ’As expected, fusing the two domains is easier said than done.

’Even when I manage to do it, my body can’t handle it. At this rate, I will collapse soon.

’The ena consumption itself is not too big, but my two elements are getting chaotic. I have made them live in harmony, but this fusion causes them to reject each other. I can somehow suppress them, but it will only last for less than three minutes.

’Still, the power is something I have never seen before. With this domain, I might be able to defeat him in three minutes. I just have to put everything I have...’

This was only possible because she had two elements, but at the same time, this could be the very weapon that killed her.

That was why Evelyn resolved herself. If she didn’t use this power, she would lose anyway.

But Garam was as desperate as Evelyn. He had to kill Evelyn and prove his own worth.

Yet, his method could only be seen as disrespectful and evil.

”Haaaaa!” Garam screamed in anger as he unleashed all the energy within himself.

”!!!” Evelyn felt chills down her spine. For some reason, the power he unleashed was different from anything he had shown so far.

The curse energy was much more concentrated and scarier. It was as if the quality of this energy was on a whole different level compared to Garam.

”I’m going to kill you no matter what I have to use!” Garam took out a jar.

”!!!” Evelyn’s body shook, realizing that the curse energy came from that jar. She wondered what kind of terrifying thing was hidden inside that jar.

But it looked like Garam was going to reveal it himself, as he wanted to scare Evelyn and make her fall into despair.

”This jar contains the ashes of the Great Curse Master. No matter how strong you are, you won’t be able to escape from this curse.” Garam grinned.

The Great Curse Master... that name could only mean one person. It was the teacher of Garam and Leyfon, the Great Curse Master, Lloyd Krusha. He was a man who had killed three world class summoners with his curse.

While people could agree that Elysion Aquamoon was the strongest person in the world, if Lloyd Krusha were still alive, they would agree it was better to offend Elysion Aquamoon than Lloyd Krusha.

Unlike Elysion, who remained passive, Lloyd could kill anyone he wanted with his curse, no matter where they hid.

Just like how Leyfon managed to send a curse to a teacher on that tropical island despite being teleported far away, Lloyd could do the same thing. Meanwhile, Garam could only utilize half of its potential. He could only shape the curse to enhance its power and track the target, but his distance was much shorter.

Still, Lloyd had treated Garam like his own son. Yet, this son of his actually cremated his body and stored his ashes, not because he wanted to honor him, but because he wanted to use him as a sacrifice.

Even Evelyn felt much more disgusted with this person.

Garam activated the curse by using the ashes of his master. ”Try this curse, Evelyn Lavender. Great Curse Master’s special death curse.”

The curse transformed into a reaper and charged toward him. The purity of this curse causes goosebumps. Even with all the resentment in his blood, Garam’s curse never felt this threatening, even for Evelyn.

And she knew that this curse was unstoppable.
