Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1028: Possibilities

Bella didn’t understand why Nathan would be involved in this, but it was clear that the fact of him being a beast summoner was so special that the alien believed in him to do something.

”...” Bella fell silent for a moment. She would definitely get some explanations later, so she was more concerned about something else.

She asked, ”What... did you mean by someone will die?”

”We have seen numerous possibilities. There are possibilities of us not meeting, so we have been guiding the world so that the possibility of us meeting will be achieved.

”However, when we explore this possibility, we have found out a great sadness in fate. It is as if their favored child is shaken by the loss of someone.”

”!!!” Bella understood just from this statement. ’Evelyn is not someone who is favored by fate... I don’t think she is. Besides, the alien mentioned earlier that Nathan is most likely someone who can change fate.

’If that’s the case, the person he mentioned earlier must be Nathan. He also mentioned that the strongest person among us...

’By combining all this information, it looks pretty clear. Nathan will most likely be sad if Evelyn dies. And this is the possibility...’

After reaching such a conclusion, Bella asked, ”And how can we change that fate?”

”I don’t know. We don’t know much about this special person. However, he might be able to change that fate because we know that possibility exists.

”All I know is that I will die today. From all the possibilities where he’s able to twist death, all I know is that there won’t be any me from that point on.

”However, if that’s all it takes to make the fate stable, then so be it. That’s why I require your cooperation, human. I wish to meet that special human.”

Bella looked down, falling into deep thought. On the one hand, she wanted to believe this alien. On the other hand, she didn’t know whether this alien could be trusted.

Still, the worries persisted, making her say, ”I can’t let you meet him... not yet. We’re still fighting against these people.

”I have also been entrusted with this task... That’s why I will remain here until everything is over. Once he’s done, I’m sure he will come here. That’s all I can promise.”

The alien sounded a bit disappointed, but there wasn’t much he could do. His body had grown so weak that he couldn’t do anything anymore.

Bella, on the other hand, was confused about the truth. She could probably ask a few more questions, but if by doing so, she ended up depleting the last bit of energy from this alien, Nathan might not be able to talk to this alien later.

If Nathan were here, he might be able to ask questions much more accurately than her. At that time, she would also find a bit of truth from everything that was going on.

What she didn’t know was that Nathan had already been aware of the existence of five intelligent aliens in this world.

Although he didn’t know the details, he knew they would be somewhere in this world, especially with what the pope said about the prophecy.

Still, even Nathan wasn’t so sure about the intelligent alien’s existence within the Divine Hand. However, no matter how hard he thought about it, he couldn’t explain how the Divine Hand could do all this without such an intelligent alien.

However, there was one problem. The alien explained it in a way that the black cell made them lose their rationality, yet she was able to converse with this alien.

If she examined all the aliens that had taken over the human body, they all had the black cell.

As someone who produced those aliens, this Roggoth should have the black cell as well. Hence, why would this alien have the ability to talk to her?

It was strange.

Bella carefully approached this alien while examining its body, not finding any trace of the black cell.

”What are you trying to find, human?”

Bella took a step back. She was a bit hesitant, but she chose to ask that question. ”Why are you able to converse with me? Aren’t you supposed to be taken over?”

”Yes. You won’t be able to see it from that angle. In fact, I would have flipped my body around to show it to you if I could, but I have that invader on the other side of my body.

”The reason for me not getting taken over is because I’m strong. I might not be a god, but I’m not that far away.

”Before manipulating that human to exploit me, I extracted the invader from my kin and planted it on my own body.”

”!!!” Bella felt like she could understand the reason for him infecting his own body. If the alien produced a pure alien in the human body, that would mean the humans would put their hatred toward the alien.

On the other hand, if they saw the aliens taking over humans who had the black cell, once they learned the truth, the humans might sympathize with them. They would treat the black cell as a common enemy.

It was clever from the alien’s perspective, but because of this injection, the alien didn’t have a long time to live. That was the reason he specifically mentioned he didn’t have much energy left to talk.

He wasn’t talking about his life. He was talking about his consciousness. Once his consciousness was gone, his life would no longer be his.

That was why the alien must have realized that he would be killed after today when he talked about him dying in the numerous possibilities.

When Bella’s thought reached that point, she couldn’t help but move to the side, trying to take a look at the alien from another perspective. In that instant, she finally understood the severity of his condition.

The other side of the alien’s body was completely black. He might be resisting, but his body should have been paralyzed at this point.

Bella sucked a cold breath. She finally knew what she was supposed to do.
