Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1024: The Battle Between World Class Summoners

*Rumble!*

The entire room was cracking and shaking as though the entire base was about to collapse.

Every single person inside the base could feel the powerful ena coming from this room as two energies clashed with each other.

Both Evelyn and Garam pointed their palms at each other, their powerful ena surging out to the point where a sphere was formed around them.

Both energies tried to suppress the other. While it looked like the amount of ena Garam possessed was more than what Evelyn had, Evelyn’s ena contained gravity, which exerted an even greater pressure compared to his ena that was trying to corrode Evelyn’s energy.

Because both of them couldn’t gain an upper hand against each other, Evelyn changed her strategy. She couldn’t afford to destroy the entire base since her people were in it.

Hence, she switched her energy to the space element. Obviously, the space element couldn’t generate enough pressure like the gravity, but it was strong enough to withstand it for a while.

During that time, Evelyn gathered the gravity energy in her other hand before unleashing it in one go.

“!!!” Garam waved his hand, trying to corrode this power, but the gravity ripped it apart and blasted Garam into the sky.

However, the power of the curse wasn’t that easy to dissipate. Even though he got hit by the gravity power, he snapped his fingers. The curse energy that was supposed to be dispersed by the gravity power earlier suddenly curved back and hit Evelyn.

It was Evelyn’s turn to get surprised as the black energy hit her arm. She could feel her hand getting weakened almost instantly, but she hurriedly released a massive amount of ena to suppress that power and somehow expel it from her body.

“What?” Garam was surprised that Evelyn could actually neutralize his curse power. Normally, they would need additional power to neutralize it from their element to the artifact.

In fact, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that holy magic, like the people in the Holy Kingdom cultivated, was the bane of this power.

But there wasn’t a single trace of it in Evelyn’s body. This wasn’t supposed to happen, yet Evelyn managed to do it.

What he didn’t know was that this method could only be used by Evelyn. She had no trouble in seeing the micro flow of the ena and simply pushed them back with her own.

Evelyn took advantage of this opportunity to spin her body and kicked him from above.

Amidst his shock, Evelyn used her teleport to disappear from his vision.

“Tsk.” Garam clicked his tongue as he raised both arms, blocking it. Still, the power launched him to the ground, away from anyone else.

Of course, Garam wasn’t the one who took a beating without fighting back. He left even more black energy around her foot.

The ena covering the foot was corroded quickly. If a weak person received such a hit, their foot would have turned black and lost the ability to function.

Fortunately, the ena was enough to withstand the corrosion until Evelyn used her micro control to expel the black energy.

‘This is going to be harder than I originally thought. I have once heard from Vice Principal Leyfon in the past about the curse ability…

‘What they’re using is the Great Curse Method, developed by the strongest curse master at the time. The curse energy can destroy anything from touch, air, and magic.

‘People usually have to use holy magic or artifacts to fight on equal ground due to how tenacious the curse energy is from this Great Curse Method.

‘At the same time, there’s also a side effect of this method. Because the curse energy is too strong, anything from them is cursed. That’s why Sage Leyfon couldn’t have any wife or children. The curse is too strong and will kill them.

‘I don’t know much after that because the Great Curse Method is personal information, but… I have to exhaust a huge portion of my energy to block the energy before expelling it.

‘Although his power is weaker than mine due to how he got stronger, the amount of ena in his body is higher than mine. At this rate, he will still have plenty of ena even after I exhaust all my ena…’

Evelyn couldn’t help but wonder if there was another method she could use to counter that power.

Obviously, Garam didn’t plan to give her that time. Once he crashed to the ground, he hurriedly stood back up and summoned six familiars.

“I’m surprised that you, Evelyn Lavender, are still alive… I have always thought you have died somewhere because you have two elements in your body… But it looks like your body is going to be a perfect one to become an alien…

“I wonder how strong the alien will become if I give it a world class summoner’s body. And one with two elements…” He smirked.

Evelyn landed on the ground gracefully, her hair turning silver. She summoned six familiars as well, including the two lifebound familiars.

On her right stood a skeleton wearing a pirate outfit. It was holding a huge curved blade and one of its legs was using a wooden leg. But when he tapped the ground with that leg, the pressure changed as though the gravity bowed to him.

On her left, a small fairy hovered in the air. Unlike the skeleton that exerted such powerful pressure, the spirit felt ethereal, as though it wasn’t in this world at all.

Still, Garam Haygaiden didn’t think they were a threat. After all, both sides had six familiars with more than 10,000,000 ena each.

Even if they clashed, no one would know who would come out on top.

“Because you failed to kill me at that time, you are going to die today. You… along with all those people.”

Garam’s expression turned grim when she mentioned those people. “You won’t be able to touch them.”

“I can’t? Is it because their strength is too powerful or… is it because they’re not on this continent anymore?”

“!!!” Garam widened his eyes in shock. “You…”

“What? Do you think I don’t know they’re not from this continent?”
