Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1005: Lead to the Perpetrators

‘Terrifying… This is absolutely terrifying.’ Rood was trembling. ‘If we have this kind of ability, how many crimes could be solved? So, this is the unique summoner Nathan…’

While he was lost in his thoughts, the progress had continued. The faces of the people had been expanded to 71 people.

Lucas was one of the Hands, so he had extensive knowledge about the organization. Unlike Daniel and Kana, Lucas might have information at the same level as Jisawn, who was in charge of their intelligence network.

Still, they couldn’t care less about the enemy’s face. Now that they knew how many people they should kill, it was enough. They should focus on the important people instead.

Nathan asked, “Introduce yourself and those people you consider your equals. Tell me about your name, age, power, and the reason you or they joined the organization.”

“I am Lucas Raxi, 36 years old. My power is a space element. The reason I joined the organization is that my lord took me in. As for my comrades…”

Lucas began to introduce every single one of them.

This time, Mae updated their profile. Next to their picture now contained their name, age, element, and the reason they joined the organization. Unfortunately, the last part was mostly empty because they never explicitly told him, which was understandable.

Nathan turned to Evelyn. “Do you want to ask first?”

“Sure.” Evelyn nodded. “Why were you shocked when you met me earlier?”

“Because you were supposed to be dead. You sacrificed yourself by taking two lifebound contracts and died somewhere.”

Rood was also surprised by this. Although he didn’t say or show it, he realized Evelyn was using the gravity element like she used to.

However, among the people around this area, there was no one who could create the magic circle that prevented them from escaping.

In other words, someone must have done it. He didn’t know who it was, so Lucas’ confirmation made him astonished. “You… You have two lifebound contracts?”

Evelyn’s talent had become even more terrifying in his eyes, but she couldn’t care less about it this time.

Evelyn asked, “How do you know I have two lifebound contracts? There should only be a glimmer of people who know them, such as the survivors of the Bloody Banquet.”

“Because I was there.”

“!!!” Evelyn’s body shook. He was there? He was with one of them? Lucas wasn’t someone from her generation, so he shouldn’t be there. “What do you mean? Explain yourself!”

Lucas fell silent for a moment before saying with blank eyes. “I was the one who drew the Space Disruption Magic. But because of the phenomenon you caused when forcefully creating the second contract, it malfunctioned and allowed several people to escape.”

Evelyn clenched her hands into fists, feeling a bit weak. Nathan, on the other hand, remembered Evelyn saying about this magic circle in her story. He just never thought Lucas was the culprit.

“Who were they? Who were the people attacking us?!” Evelyn’s calm face was distorted. This was the first time Nathan saw her emotion gushing out like this, but it couldn’t be helped. The lead was right before them.

“I don’t know.”

“You don’t know? Aren’t you a part of them?!”

“I was not. After falling out with some nobles, I retreated from the world for revenge. My lord took me in. He brought me to that place, but even my lord was treated like an ordinary guy.”

Nathan frowned and asked, “Mae, extract the faces of these people.”

Mae didn’t reply, but she quickly adjusted her illusion and gradually projected some faces.

There were a total of 17 people. Some were already quite old, while some were quite young.

Evelyn’s eyes were fixated on one of them. It was a youth with sharp teeth. If he wasn’t wrong, this person was the one who fought Evelyn before.

“You recognize them?” Nathan asked Evelyn while grabbing her arm as if asking her to control her emotion. The calmer she was, the more information they could get.

Rood was even more shocked not because of this information but because of the affection between the two. He recalled Evelyn was someone who would kick her suitor in the nuts if she didn’t like them. Yet, she didn’t push Nathan away when he showed such care.

Evelyn took a deep breath before nodding her head. “Sorry. I’m calm now. And yes, I recognize some of them. I had to focus on this sharp-teeth guy that day, but this one with long eyebrows fought Bella back then. I had to blow him away to help her.

“Then, this thin guy was the one who killed Melissa’s boy… I mean, Duke Envien’s son.

“Garam Haygaiden must be this one with a long beard, since it matches with the information about the Divine Hand. Unfortunately, I didn’t see any other faces since I was just doing my best to survive.”

Nathan squinted his eyes. He would definitely get more information from Garam if they could defeat him, but that depended on their ability.

At the very least, they finally got the lead now.

Evelyn continued, “Where did they come from? How did you meet them in the first place? Did Garam Haygaiden know them beforehand?”

“I don’t know where they came from. Whenever I asked my lord about it, he always refused to answer. He knew them for quite some time. Although he didn’t admit it directly, he had shown some signs that his current strength came from them.”

“!!!” This was another shocking piece of information. Nathan looked down, muttering, “If that’s true, that means these people have much higher strength. At the very least, some of them should be equal to world class summoners.”

“From what I felt, the one fighting me should be an arcane level summoner but was close to the world class summoner level. Now that several years have passed, it won’t be weird if that guy has become a world class summoner,” confirmed Evelyn.

Rood was trembling. A hidden organization with several world class summoners? That was enough to create their own kingdom. Yet, even with such powerful strength, they remained hidden. This hidden danger made him drench in cold sweat.

Evelyn pondered for a moment before asking the most crucial question. “What’s the reason for their arrival here?”
