Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 92 Oil-producing Nations: We’ll Take the Lead!A battleship is a large surface warship equipped with large-caliber naval guns, ultra-thick protective armor, and possesses underwater protection capabilities, a large cruising radius, and open-ocean seaworthiness.

Historically, it was the core strength and primary combat vessel of naval fleets.

For example, the historically famous Kongō-class battleship!

Its full-load displacement could reach a staggering thirty-five thousand tons!

This product of the last century has a displacement even more exaggerated than our current Type 055 Destroyer!

This is also why General Zhao Yong thought the new warship was a battleship!

With this, General Zhao Yong had no more questions.

With the successful live-fire test of the Electromagnetic Naval Gun, Su Chen began preparing to manufacture the new warship!

One week later.

Longhang Shipyard.

This was the largest shipyard in the Dragon Country.

It was situated along a vast, boundless coastline, backed by rolling green mountains and facing the surging sea.

Sunlight spilled onto the sea, creating shimmering ripples that contrasted with the shipyard’s massive steel frame, forming a magnificent industrial painting.

At a glance, the dry dock looked like a wide-open giant mouth, surrounded by towering gantry cranes dozens of meters high, their thick steel beams coated in bright anti-rust paint, gleaming with a metallic luster under the sun.

They could easily lift tons of steel and equipment.

The Type 055 Destroyer and several of Dragon Country’s aircraft carriers were all born in this shipyard!

At this moment, all employees had been mobilized for the research and development of the new warship!

All ongoing external shipbuilding order plans were suspended!

For a long time to come, all resources and manpower would be used to support the research and development of the new warship!

General Zhao Yong led Su Chen into the shipyard, where they could see many people standing by, waiting for Su Chen to assign tasks!

The old general introduced:

”These people are the person in charges of the various departments in the shipyard!”

”From now on, they will all follow your orders!”

”Personnel from other shipyards are also being transferred over as quickly as possible!”

”In addition, we in the navy will fully support your work; if you need any help, just let us know!”

The old general’s voice was loud, as if he were deliberately saying it for those person in charges to hear!

With him, the commander of the Dragon Country’s navy, backing him up, no one would dare look down on Su Chen because of his youth!

And in fact, after he said this, the person in charges of the various parts of Longhang Shipyard were indeed shocked!

They had not expected that the entire shipyard would halt operations just because of this young man in front of them, who looked like he was only in his early twenties!

And that wasn’t all!

They were also going to mobilize employees from other shipyards to work for him!

Even people from the military would be providing help!

What kind of background does this young man have?

Why does it feel like the whole country is revolving around him?

These person in charges couldn’t help but whisper among themselves!

And after discussing for a long time, they still couldn’t figure anything out!

At this moment, they remembered the non-disclosure agreements they had been required to sign earlier!

That was a non-disclosure agreement with an even higher security level than when the aircraft carriers were built!

They suspected that it might also have something to do with that young man!

At this moment, the young man’s gaze swept over them and finally landed on General Zhao Yong again; he nodded calmly:

”If I need any help, I will tell you!”

However, because it involved the research and development of Nuclear Fusion Technology, even if General Zhao Yong couldn’t handle it, the big shot who wrote to him back then would definitely be able to!

Therefore, even if General Zhao Yong hadn’t said that, Su Chen wouldn’t have been worried in the slightest!

The shipyard was ready!

The staff was also being mobilized urgently!

As for the other various materials needed, they were just waiting for Su Chen to organize the list so they could be procured!

Finally, General Zhao Yong asked about the cost:

”Su Chen, this new warship of yours, which integrates various advanced technologies, must not be cheap to build!”

After all, according to Su Chen, this thing was a nuclear-powered warship, and unlike current nuclear-powered aircraft carriers, it relied on Nuclear Fusion Technology, not Nuclear Fission!

”About what is the budget? I’ll report it to the higher-ups later,” General Zhao Yong continued.

Su Chen had already calculated the approximate cost, so when General Zhao Yong asked, he answered truthfully:

”It will need about 20 billion Dragon Country Yuan!”

General Zhao Yong was slightly stunned!

It wasn’t that he thought it was expensive; on the contrary, he thought it was much lower than he had expected!

One had to know that what Su Chen wanted to build was a 100,000-ton super nuclear-powered warship comparable to a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier!

The construction cost of Eagle Sauce’s Ford-class nuclear-powered super aircraft carrier was as high as 13.5 billion USD, which, when converted, exceeded 50 billion Dragon Country Yuan!

Although Su Chen’s warship was not an aircraft carrier, the combat power it possessed would definitely not be inferior to an aircraft carrier!

Without hesitation, General Zhao Yong decided immediately!

”No problem, I will report the budget to the higher-ups later!”

Meanwhile.

In the Middle East Region, inside the Oil Country palace.

At this time, representatives from several Desert Nations were holding a joint meeting.

The tense atmosphere was like a chain firmly gripping the hearts of the representatives from several important Desert Nations!

Not long ago, the Air Force of Daishin launched a surprise attack on them!

This air raid was aggressive and left them with no power to fight back!

Before this attack began, their radar systems were almost in a state of blindness!

They couldn’t see where the enemy’s fighter jets were at all and were confusedly subjected to a series of strikes!

The targets hit were also very important facilities in their countries!

The Pyramid Country angrily pounded the conference table:

”Those damn guys! If they dare to attack our country again!”

”Our country will definitely declare war on them!”

In the eyes of the other national representatives, there was also an uncontrollable anger.

They all had the same thought of declaring war on the other side!

However, as soon as they thought of the opposing Air Force, their moods became incredibly heavy!

At this time, the representative of Lebanon said:

”The country standing behind Daishin is Eagle Sauce; if I’m not mistaken, they must have obtained some fifth-generation fighter jets from Eagle Sauce!”

”With our radar detection methods, there is no way to detect these stealth fighter jets!”

”Even if we declare war on them, with our military strength, I am afraid we have no way to counter them!”

Everyone sighed helplessly!

As long as Eagle Sauce was involved in this, they had no way at all!

And just when everyone was filled with mixed feelings and didn’t know what to do!

Prince Aodebiao of Oil Country suddenly spoke up:

”For the anti-air raid operations against Daishin, our Oil Country can serve as the main force!”

His gaze was firm and his voice was serious, but as soon as the words were spoken, it immediately left the other countries stunned!

They widened their eyes and looked at Prince Aodebiao in disbelief!

Thinking:

Oil Country actually wants to be the main force?

Have they gone mad?
