Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 74 What? We have a traitor among us?”Damn Dragon Country, they really know how to pick the sore spot!”

”We’ve lost so many fighter jets, and we still haven’t gotten an explanation, yet they have the nerve to start demanding an explanation from us!”

”So what do we do? Do we pay compensation? Do we have to apologize too?”

”We’ll talk about that later! No rush, let them bark for a couple more days!”

...

The US administration decided to shelve the Dragon Country’s statement for now.

In their view, within a short time, Dragon Country would not take any overly radical actions!

The US President suddenly thought to himself: ”This matter must be kept strictly confidential!”

”Otherwise, it will definitely cause social panic!”

”Handle the arrangements for the fallen pilots well, spare no expense, and make their families sign non-disclosure agreements!”

”It must be foolproof!”

The person in charge in charge of this matter was the top official of the Intelligence Bureau.

He patted his chest and said: ”Rest assured! Mr. President!”

”I will let you know that our Intelligence Bureau’s work is absolutely reliable!”

As he spoke, he glanced at the Air Force guys, a trace of disdain flashing across his lips:

”At least more reliable than certain guys!”

The generals from the Air Force instantly turned livid.

Yet they had no way to refute it!

The US President still highly approved of the work done by the Intelligence Bureau, an agency firmly in his own hands!

Seeing the official so confident, he felt much more at ease!

However, before his anxious heart could relax, a series of messages suddenly flooded in like a tide!

The cell phones of these high-level officials began to beep incessantly!

They opened them to take a look!

News about the two F-22 Raptor Fighter Jet squadrons of the US being annihilated in the waters of Banana Island spread overwhelmingly through all major news media!

At the same time, outside the top-level conference room, it was chaotic!

The US President pulled back the curtains to look outside and was shocked to see an extremely exaggerated scene!

He saw countless news media reporters swarming towards this side!

They were like ants preparing to move, or bees that had smelled sweet honey; in short, their numbers were terrifying.

It even felt as if the entire US media had run over here.

At this moment, not only the high-level officials but even the US President’s face turned green!

They knew the news could no longer be contained!

”Someone leaked the news!”

”Is there a traitor among us... or was it released by the attackers!”

If it was the latter, that would truly be ruthless psychological warfare!

”We cannot admit it, no matter what, we cannot admit this matter!”

The US President said firmly.

But now it seemed it had reached a point where it could no longer be contained!

A general walked to his side and opened a news video on his phone!

On the video was the scene of the annihilation of the US Air Force formation!

On the sea surface, there was wreckage of fighter jets everywhere!

It was so tragic it was hair-raising!

There were even influencers from Banana Country who went to that area to check in!

The veins on the US President’s forehead bulged.

”Bastards! It must have been those guys!”

”They wiped out our fighter jet formation and made us suffer the brunt of public opinion! This is truly ruthless psychological warfare!”

”You’d better not let me catch you!”

”When I do, you definitely won’t have a good time!”

A high-level official asked: ”Mr. President, what should we do now?”

The US President resisted the urge to curse:

”What else can we do at this point?”

”Hold a press conference!”

...

Having no other choice, the US side had to hold a press conference.

The topic was naturally about the attack on the US fighter jet formation.

”As you have seen in the video, our fighter jet formation was conducting routine training in the international waters near Banana Country!”

”We were subjected to a malicious attack by an unidentified force, causing damage to some of our military formation’s fighter jets!”

”In this regard, we strongly condemn these terrorist forces and will pursue them at all costs!”

The US President really wanted to stay calm, but when recounting the incident to the news media, he still couldn’t suppress the anger in his heart!

His expression looked very serious!

And the news media staff in the audience also changed their expressions at this moment!

Compared to hearing the US President admit this, they would rather he denied it!

They were the powerful US Empire!

The F-22 Raptor Fighter Jet was still one of their most powerful and advanced fighter jets!

To think someone dared to provoke them!

And launch an attack on their most advanced fighter jet formation!

Did they have a death wish?

After the US President briefly explained the incident, the next part was the Q&A session.

”May I ask, Mr. President, why are we not sanctioning them?”

”This doesn’t seem like our style!”

A formation, twenty-four fighter jets just wiped out like that; according to the US’s usual habits, they would have already launched a heavy strike against the other side!

But until now, they hadn’t heard of the US authorities taking any action!

The US President took a deep breath!

He knew these reporters’ questions were always very sharp!

Like this question, for instance!

How was he supposed to answer this?

He couldn’t just say they still didn’t know who did it!

The taxpayers would probably go crazy!

A fighter jet formation was annihilated, and you don’t even know who did it; what use are you?

He took another deep breath, then slowly said into the microphone:

”In fact, we have already formulated a detailed sanction plan!”

As he spoke, he pointed his finger at the media camera:

”I know you must also be watching this press conference!”

”Believe me, you won’t be arrogant for much longer, just wait for our sanctions!”

The media personnel nodded one after another after hearing his words.

This was the style that belonged to them!

At this time, another reporter asked: ”Mr. President, not long ago, Dragon Country released a statement regarding the incident of our reconnaissance plane invading their airspace in the Southern Sea Area!”

”Coincidentally, on that very day, our fighter jet formation flew to the waters of Banana Country to carry out what you call training. As far as I know, the training route of our fighter jet formation seemed to be heading towards the Southern Sea Area of Dragon Country...”

”May I ask if these two events are related?”

The US President’s expression gradually became serious: ”No relation!”

”Next question!”

These two cold words were intended to dismiss that reporter!

But the reporter was unrelenting and said: ”Is the attacker Dragon Country?”

The US President: ”No!”

”They do not possess the capability to attack our fighter jet formation!”

”Next question!”

The US President’s tone had become somewhat impatient!

And just at this moment.

One of his subordinates walked over.

”Mr. President, our analysis report on the attack incident is out!”

Hearing this, the US President’s expression changed instantly.

”Excuse me for a moment!”

He temporarily left the press conference and walked to a conference room in the back!

The subordinate handed him a report.

Seeing the text on the report.

He widened his eyes abruptly and spat out a word in disbelief:

”Traitor?????”
