Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 90 Su Chen’s Idea: A New Type of Warship!”Thank you for your praise, General Zhao!”

”However, I am not that amazing!”

”Everyone has their own specialty. I have simply worked a bit harder than others in the field of research!”

”For example, I have been passionate about technological research since I was young. Starting when I learned to read at age three, I began with popular science books. At an age when others were playing with mud, by five, I had already read every popular science book I could find on the market!”

”By seven, I was reading books on relativity and quantum mechanics, and that same year, I started researching knowledge in nuclear physics...”

Su Chen spoke in a calm tone, but his words exploded in everyone’s minds like a thunderclap!

The bigwigs present were all completely stunned!

Reading popular science books at three!

Finishing those books by five!

Studying relativity and quantum mechanics—subjects people only learn in university—at seven!

And even conducting research in nuclear physics!

Is he even human?

This is simply a monster!

Old General Zhao Yong was taken aback:

”Su Chen, is everything you said true?”

”If it is true, you can’t even be called a genius; you are simply a monster!”

Su Chen grinned.

Of course, it was fake!

Damn it! I used to see successful people acting all high and mighty, saying things like they weren’t interested in money, blah blah blah!

Back then, Su Chen swore to himself that once he succeeded, he would say the same damn thing!

Now that he had finally said it, and in front of so many bigwigs, he felt so satisfied!

At this moment, Old General Zhao Yong’s gaze fell back onto the Electromagnetic Naval Gun.

In his mind, he was already imagining what a spectacular sight it would be to have an Electromagnetic Naval Gun mounted on a warship.

It was just a pity that even a military industrial genius as monstrous as Su Chen seemed to have no solution!

However, the next second!

He realized he had thought wrong!

Su Chen walked over to the Electromagnetic Naval Gun, pointed at the base waiting to be installed below, and said:

”Old General Zhao Yong, actually, you have no need to worry at all!”

”The Electromagnetic Naval Gun can absolutely be installed on a warship!”

”As a super turret capable of moving on the sea, the original intention behind my design was to mount it on a warship!”

As soon as these words were spoken, everyone present was stunned!

However, shortly after, General Zhao Yong reacted and smiled helplessly:

”Little Comrade Su Chen, you might not have understood what I meant just now!”

”Being able to install it and being able to use it after installation are two completely different concepts!”

”You don’t need to comfort me. Ordinary warships simply cannot supply the Electromagnetic Naval Gun, which has such a terrifying energy consumption!”

”Let’s wait until our nuclear-powered warships are developed before talking about it!”

Although, even if a nuclear-powered warship were developed, it still wouldn’t be able to use it...

Seeing that General Zhao Yong didn’t believe him, Su Chen immediately said solemnly:

”Actually, that is exactly what I meant!”

”I have already found a solution to the energy problem!”

The expressions of the crowd suddenly changed.

They hadn’t expected that Su Chen already had a solution!

He had a way to feed this energy-devouring monster???

If there really was a way, it would be of huge benefit not just to the Navy, but to the entire country!

Anything capable of feeding the energy-devouring monster must be a power generation device capable of providing terrifying amounts of energy!

And the country would certainly need such a powerful device to supply the nation’s terrifying electricity demands!

However, even though Su Chen had already demonstrated his powerful research capabilities through mecha and various military weapons!

But when it came to whether he could truly tame this energy-devouring monster, everyone felt a bit uncertain.

It wasn’t that they didn’t believe Su Chen, but the energy consumption of the Electromagnetic Naval Gun was a truly terrifying figure!

The bigwigs present looked at each other, their eyes flashing with disbelief.

Except for one person!

Commander Liu Chengzhi!

As the person most familiar with Su Chen’s research, he suddenly thought of the Space Mecha!

That massive mecha, tens of meters tall, must surely have high energy consumption!

Wasn’t the cold-processed Nuclear Reactor equipped within it a form of nuclear power?

Thinking of this, Commander Liu Chengzhi looked at the others and immediately said:

”I think we can trust Su Chen!”

”You have all seen the Space Mecha. With such a massive size, it would be impossible to lift off without a powerful energy supply, let alone roam in space!”

”Yet Su Chen was able to realize it!”

”Now, although this Electromagnetic Naval Gun also has significant energy consumption, I believe that since Su Chen says he has a way, he definitely has a way!”

General Zhao Yong asked incredulously: ”You have that much confidence in Comrade Su Chen?”

Commander Liu Chengzhi grinned: ”Of course!”

This is our country’s great treasure!

Seeing Commander Liu Chengzhi so confident in Su Chen, he immediately nodded.

He then looked at Su Chen: ”Since Comrade Su Chen is so confident, and it is for the sake of taking our naval cause to the next level!”

”Then we absolutely cannot be hesitant!”

As he spoke, his gaze swept over the other high-ranking naval officers, who all nodded in succession.

General Zhao Yong then continued:

”Comrade Su Chen, starting from today, our Navy will absolutely cooperate with you fully!”

”Even if you want warships, regardless of the model, we can satisfy you! Feel free to mobilize them!”

As soon as these words were spoken, the other leaders were all taken aback!

Moreover, when General Zhao Yong said this, the other naval bigwigs didn’t say anything to object!

In other words, they had all implicitly agreed with General Zhao Yong’s intent!

The entire high command of the Dragon Kingdom’s Navy had chosen to trust Su Chen at this moment!

To exaggerate slightly, even if Su Chen were to mobilize an aircraft carrier strike group to attack the Eagle Nation right now, they would probably wonder if Su Chen was conducting some kind of experiment for his next research project.

Su Chen was also somewhat flattered at this moment.

Being able to mobilize warships at will—they really must believe in him!

Let’s go! Let’s go attack the Eagle Nation right now!

Of course, that was a joke!

At least not right now!

He cleared his throat and said with a smile:

”Thank you all for your trust!”

”However, I think that instead of modifying existing warships, it would be better to build a new type of warship!”

”While manufacturing the Electromagnetic Naval Gun, I realized that with our current technology, we could try to build a new type of warship!”

”This warship will be equipped with a super-large-caliber Electromagnetic Naval Gun, and Individual Combat Mecha will replace the original carrier-based aircraft. As for the energy source, we will use a Nuclear Fusion Reactor!”

Su Chen’s eyes were sparkling, seemingly looking forward to the day the new warship would take shape.

And his words left the bigwigs present dumbfounded.

Especially General Zhao Yong!

As a high-ranking official in the Navy, he was extremely familiar with warships!

When Su Chen was talking about the new type of warship, he was simultaneously constructing the image of this new warship in his mind.

A Nuclear Fusion Reactor for power!

A super-large-caliber Electromagnetic Naval Gun as a weapon!

Individual Combat Mecha responsible for supporting and guarding the warship!

...

Good heavens!

What kind of badass warship is this!!!!!!!
