Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 77 Are you crazy to make such a request?”Junior, I was wrong!”

”I just wanted to help you build up your strength!”

”Who knew you were so weak...”

”I am not weak!!!!” Su Chen’s roar came from inside the bathroom.

At this moment, he was taking a cold shower frantically to counteract the heat rising within him!

After a long time, he emerged, steam rising from his body.

The senior student sat kneeling on the floor, looking as if she were at his mercy.

It seemed she truly realized she was wrong!

Su Chen shrugged helplessly!

”Alright, Senior!”

”I know you did it for my own good!”

”I don’t blame you!”

Hearing that Su Chen had forgiven her, Zhao Dairou giggled.

A smile appeared on her face once again!

”Junior, you’re so kind!”

Su Chen wiped his slightly damp hair and walked over to sit on the sofa!

At this moment, his satellite phone rang.

As soon as he answered, he found it was Chief Liu calling again!

The other party seemed very excited!

”Su Chen, I just came from a meeting. Guess what?”

”The first Individual Combat Mecha you developed has already entered mass production!”

”We’ve already produced one hundred units!”

Su Chen straightened his posture; clearly, he hadn’t expected the Individual Combat Equipment R&D team to move so quickly!

It hadn’t been long, yet they had already mass-produced one hundred units!

Of course, their ability to move so fast was inseparable from the complete technology Su Chen had provided!

”This also exceeded my expectations!”

”So, how does the country plan to handle these one hundred First-generation Mecha?”

Su Chen asked.

Commander Liu Chengzhi gave a helpless, bitter smile: ”Naturally, they’ve all been snatched up by the major military regions!”

”However, our North China Theater Command didn’t get involved!”

Su Chen was a bit surprised; this didn’t seem like Chief Liu’s style!

He was the most familiar with these mecha!

Logically, he should have been competing for them too!

Soon, Su Chen figured out the reason: ”You’re waiting for the Space Mecha to enter mass production, right?”

Commander Liu Chengzhi slapped his thigh suddenly: ”Hey! You hit the nail on the head, kid!”

”Right now, the Space Mecha will be entering mass production soon. This thing is much more powerful than the First-generation Mecha!”

”We don’t even care about the First-generation Mecha anymore; once the Space Mecha are mass-produced, we have to get our hands on a few to play with!”

Su Chen smiled calmly; he really had guessed it right!

”Oh right, there’s one more piece of news!”

”The Eagle Sauce side is holding an Air Force equipment exhibition of significant scale!”

”I wonder if you’re interested?”

Su Chen was not interested in participating in such an exhibition!

Besides, he wanted to finish manufacturing the Super Electromagnetic Naval Gun quickly!

Time was a bit tight.

He was about to refuse, but then he seemed to think of something!

He quickly said:

”I think we can participate!”

After a pause, he added:

”And, we can bring along the First-generation Mecha we just produced!”

”Let’s participate in the exhibition together!”

Hearing Su Chen’s words, Commander Liu Chengzhi was immediately shocked!

”No! Absolutely not!”

”Su Chen, the First-generation Mecha is an epoch-making technological weapon we produced!”

”In combat within the planet, it is an almost invincible existence!”

”It is also an important trump card for our Dragon Country!”

”We barely have time to keep it secret, how can we easily show it to others?”

The strategic significance of the First-generation Mecha was self-evident!

In modern warfare, it was an existence that could almost crush other weapons!

Commander Liu Chengzhi was somewhat suspicious; Su Chen had always been steady in his actions, so why was he acting confused at a time like this?

Su Chen smiled calmly:

”Chief, actually, not only do we not need to hide the First-generation Mecha!”

”I think we can even sell a few units abroad!”

Commander Liu Chengzhi couldn’t hold it back anymore: ”What? You want to sell them?”

”No! That’s even more unacceptable!”

”If you sell them and they crack the technology inside, once they produce them, our advantage will diminish!”

”Furthermore, what if after we sell them, they use them against us?”

”No one can guarantee they won’t do something like that!”

Seeing that Commander Liu Chengzhi was so opposed to his proposal, Su Chen immediately explained:

”Chief, you are overthinking it!”

”First, I can tell you clearly that they cannot crack this mecha. It has a built-in anti-cracking program. As long as they attempt to crack the technology within, the mecha will initiate a self-destruct sequence and destroy itself on the spot!”

”Secondly, they cannot use the First-generation Mecha to deal with us at all! Because the core of the First-generation Mecha is Artificial Intelligence, and the code for the Artificial Intelligence was written by me personally. As long as I want to, I can control any First-generation Mecha at any time!”

”Finally, we possess the manufacturing technology for the Space Mecha, and the comprehensive performance of the Space Mecha is far superior to the First-generation Mecha. You don’t need to worry about the First-generation Mecha causing us any harm at all!”

”This is absolutely a golden opportunity for huge profits! Only a fool would pass up the chance to make money!”

Commander Liu Chengzhi was stunned by Su Chen’s words!

He realized that his understanding of the First-generation Mecha and the Space Mecha was still too little!

If it were truly as Su Chen said, and the sold mecha could not pose a threat to their own country, then it was worth considering!

Of course, only considering it!

Commander Liu Chengzhi still had some concerns!

Su Chen knew that Commander Liu Chengzhi felt there was no need to sell the First-generation Mecha, which contained so much advanced technology, just for some money. The main point was that the concept of money hadn’t been concretized in his mind!

After thinking for a moment, he added:

”However, the First-generation Mecha is, after all, an epoch-making product!”

”If we are going to sell it, we definitely can’t sell it cheaply!”

”At least ten billion per unit!”

”Chief, you know the cost of the First-generation Mecha. This ten billion is enough to produce tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of First-generation Mecha!”

”Are you sure you don’t want to do this business?”

After Su Chen put it this way, Commander Liu Chengzhi was immediately tempted!

That’s right!

He had almost forgotten!

The manufacturing cost of the First-generation Mecha was extremely low!

But its value was truly terrifying!

This meant it was absolutely the most profitable commodity!

It would really be a pity not to sell it!

However, he was still a bit hesitant: ”The main thing is, we aren’t short on money!”

”No, no, no!” Su Chen denied this statement:

”Chief, we are not ’not short on money’!”

”We are desperately short of money!”

”Don’t forget, the manufacturing of the Space Mecha involved an investment of one hundred billion US dollars!”

”And that’s just the Space Mecha; who knows what more powerful black technology might emerge in the future!”

”We are very short of money right now!”

Su Chen had reminded him!

That’s right!

Su Chen was so capable; who knew how many ideas he still had!

If they were short on money later, they wouldn’t have such a good opportunity!

Now, Commander Liu Chengzhi was completely swayed by Su Chen!

”Alright! I will contact the higher-ups immediately and convey your ideas to them in full!”

After hanging up the phone, Commander Liu Chengzhi quickly requested instructions from his superiors!

At first, upon hearing Su Chen’s intentions, their reaction was the same as Commander Liu Chengzhi’s had been earlier!

They all thought it was inappropriate!

After all, the First-generation Mecha was the existence that had ”defeated” dozens of J-20 Fighter Jets in combat exercises!

Not only the Air Force, but the Army also highly valued the First-generation Mecha!

How could such a weapon of war be sold to the outside world!

However, when Commander Liu Chengzhi conveyed Su Chen’s thoughts to these high-level officials in their entirety!

They couldn’t help but hesitate!

The head of the Finance Bureau also participated in this meeting!

He said at this time: ”I think Comrade Su Chen’s words make a lot of sense!”

”You must realize that we are a country, not a big warlord. We must develop national defense, but we cannot only develop national defense!”

”We also have to develop people’s livelihoods. If we blindly pour funds into national defense, I’m afraid the people will suffer!”

Commander-in-Chief Zhou Jingting felt he was being a bit alarmist!

”How can it be as exaggerated as you say?”

The head of the Finance Bureau snorted coldly: ”Cut it out!”

”Don’t think I don’t know that back when Su Chen manufactured the Space Mecha, you guys gathered together and cooked up plenty of bad ideas!”

”Saying things like it was time to flex some muscle!”

”Good thing this Space Mecha had no weapon system; if it had been equipped with weapons, I think you guys would have been preparing to do something big!”

Commander-in-Chief Zhou Jingting felt a bit embarrassed by being called out!

”Which son of a b**** told this old guy the news?”

Although that was the case, the head of the Finance Bureau wasn’t wrong!

Once a person has powerful equipment in their hands!

They can’t help but want to use it!

And once they use it, it causes waste of money and manpower!

Even if the country’s economic trend is rising, one cannot dump all the money into national defense!

Otherwise, the public won’t be happy either!

Therefore, the best way is to use military equipment to support military equipment!

After discussing for a long time, and finally confirming that the First-generation Mecha would not threaten national defense security, everyone finally agreed to Su Chen’s proposal!

As the meeting was about to end, Commander Liu Chengzhi suddenly stopped them!

”Honorable Chiefs, I have one more proposal!”

”Look at Su Chen’s First-generation Mecha; let’s promote him to Senior Colonel!”

”This Space Mecha is even more powerful than the First-generation Mecha...”

”We really must reward him!”

The big shots all felt they had to give Su Chen some rewards!

Commander-in-Chief Zhou Jingting asked at this moment: ”Since you proposed it, why don’t you share your thoughts!”

Commander Liu Chengzhi grinned:

”How about... we raise Su Chen’s military rank a bit more?”
