Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 85 The Unveiling of the Ultra-Large Caliber Electromagnetic Naval Gun!”To be precise, the caliber of this gun barrel is ten meters!” Su Chen introduced.

At this moment, Commander Liu Chengzhi was almost petrified on the spot.

It was his first time seeing a gun barrel that looked like a tunnel!

Other artillery calibers are measured in millimeters!

You, on the other hand, went straight for a meter-level barrel!

This completely exceeded his expectations!

You have to know, the largest caliber naval gun in history does not exceed 500mm!

And the barrel size Su Chen spoke of is equivalent to 10000mm!

”So, this barrel... is for the Electromagnetic Naval Gun???”

Commander Liu Chengzhi collected himself. This was the manufacturing workshop for the Electromagnetic Naval Gun, so without a doubt, this barrel must belong to the Electromagnetic Naval Gun!

Su Chen nodded: ”That’s right!”

”I asked you to come over just to take a look at my newly completed Electromagnetic Naval Gun!”

”No, to be precise, only the final step of installing the barrel remains!”

After saying this, he took a small control panel out of his pocket!

After operating it for a moment, a huge machine beside them started up.

It extended a metal claw to pick up the barrel, slowly rotated it over to the massive device on the other side, and with a loud ’clack’, the barrel was installed!

At the same time, the complete appearance of the Electromagnetic Naval Gun was suddenly presented before everyone.

In this dimly lit workshop, filled with a sense of technology, the super-large caliber Electromagnetic Naval Gun stood silently.

Like a giant steel tower, it radiated an awe-inspiring power.

The entire gun body shone with a cold metallic luster, as if it had been forged from the strongest alloy in the universe.

Its polished surface reflected a mysterious and powerful light under the workshop lights.

Every detail showcased exquisite craftsmanship and unparalleled power.

The most eye-catching feature was undoubtedly its massive caliber muzzle.

The muzzle was pitch black, deep and mysterious, like a giant mouth capable of devouring the heavens and the earth.

Just staring at it made one feel an indescribable sense of oppression.

As if it could erupt with world-destroying power at any moment.

The entire Electromagnetic Naval Gun radiated an inviolable majesty.

It was like a god of war sleeping in the manufacturing workshop.

Once awakened, it would surely unleash a terrifying power that would strike fear into hearts, becoming an invincible existence on the ocean.

Commander Liu Chengzhi was stunned!

His gaze was fixed tightly on the giant tower-like gun body, his eyes filled with indescribable shock!

He couldn’t even determine if he was dreaming or if this was reality!

He walked step by step toward the Electromagnetic Naval Gun and reached out to touch the cold gun body.

Soon, a chill traveled from the gun body to his hand!

The incredibly real tactile sensation seemed to be telling him that this was real!

This was not a dream!

Su Chen knew that Commander Liu Chengzhi found it hard to believe; when he himself was manufacturing the Electromagnetic Naval Gun, he had also been shocked!

Especially after crafting the barrel with his own hands!

Looking at the tunnel-like barrel, he was certain that this thing’s power would definitely not be small!

He glanced at the gun body and introduced it with a sense of accomplishment:

”I call it the Super-Large Caliber Electromagnetic Naval Gun!”

Commander Liu Chengzhi turned to look at Su Chen and spoke slowly, his tone filled with admiration:

”The gun lives up to its name; it is truly a super-large caliber!”

”I finally understand why those old guys in the Army say that the larger the caliber of the artillery, the greater the deterrent force!”

”I’m not afraid of you laughing at me, but my legs almost went weak just now!”

If even Major General Liu, who had been through the baptism of war, felt this way, let alone others!

The Super-Large Caliber Electromagnetic Naval Gun directly maxed out the deterrent power of artillery!

Su Chen continued:

”You can’t be blamed for that; generally speaking, caliber and deterrent force are linked!”

”The larger the caliber, the stronger the deterrent capability!”

”Of course, the main factor is the shells it can fire!”

”The larger the artillery caliber, the larger the shells it can fire, and naturally the power is greater, which naturally possesses a powerful deterrent!”

”And the reason I manufactured such a huge caliber is that I hope to maximize the lethality!”

Su Chen then explained the principles of the Electromagnetic Railgun to Commander Liu Chengzhi!

This was based on the law of electromagnetic induction and the Ampere force law.

The law of electromagnetic induction states that when a magnetic field changes, an induced electromotive force is generated in a conductor.

The Ampere force law indicates that a current-carrying conductor experiences a force when in a magnetic field.

In the Electromagnetic Naval Gun, by energizing the rails, a powerful magnetic field is generated between them.

When current passes through the armature located between the rails, the armature is subjected to a huge Ampere force in the magnetic field, pushing the shell to accelerate along the rails, thereby launching it at an extremely high speed.

This allows it to achieve the function of firing shells!

While explaining, he took Commander Liu Chengzhi to visit the interior of the Electromagnetic Naval Gun!

They had already visited the barrel, so that wasn’t necessary; what came next was the interior of the Electromagnetic Naval Gun!

Looking at the dense array of operating buttons and various instruments, Commander Liu Chengzhi only felt his scalp tingle, though he couldn’t understand anything!

Of course, he also couldn’t understand what Su Chen was explaining!

He just felt that it was very awesome!

After coming out from inside, he found a place to lean against, and still starting from his own understanding, he asked Su Chen:

”With such a large barrel, the shells needed must be quite large, right!”

Su Chen nodded: ”The one you are leaning against is it!”

Commander Liu Chengzhi was stunned for a moment!

Then he stepped back half a step, stepped back another half step, and stepped back again...

Until he had stepped back who knows how many steps!

Only then could he clearly see the true face of the shell!

It was actually a super-large metal sphere with a diameter of about eight meters!

He swallowed hard.

He had guessed the shell would be big, but he hadn’t expected it to be this big!

It was as tall as a three-story building!

Who would dare to imagine that this was actually a shell for the Electromagnetic Naval Gun!

If this thing hit an enemy aircraft carrier, the power would absolutely be enough to wipe them out!

Of course, this was just Commander Liu Chengzhi’s guess, and he had not seen the scene of the Electromagnetic Naval Gun exploding.

And he seemed unable to wait any longer!

”When can a test fire be organized?” Commander Liu Chengzhi looked at Su Chen, his eyes filled with anticipation.

Su Chen smiled calmly: ”Anytime!”

...

On the other side.

The US Air Force Arms Exhibition Center.

The person in charge in charge on the US side sat listlessly in a boss chair.

Looking over the representatives from various countries walking back and forth!

He scanned over these people for a while, but seemed not to find the person he hoped to see, appearing extremely frustrated.

”Fuck, Oil Country!”

”I’ve been waiting for them for several days, why haven’t they come over yet?”

”Making me wait for so long; when you get here, see how I raise the prices and fleece you!”

The person in charge muttered in his heart.

And just at this moment, a subordinate walked over!

”BOSS! We received intelligence that the people from Oil Country have already left by plane!”

The person in charge’s eyes widened suddenly; he stood up quickly from the boss chair, instantly feeling like he had lost billions!

”What did you say?”

”Say it again!”

The subordinate shrugged helplessly: ”I said, the prince of Oil Country has already left!”

The person in charge was completely dumbfounded:

”Is... is this information reliable?”

Subordinate: ”Information provided by the aviation department!”

”They saw the representatives board their private plane and leave with their own eyes!”

Now the US person in charge was completely numb!

He had waited for so long, just waiting to fleece The Oil Tycoon!

As a result, you tell me they left?

”So, what is going on with them?”

”Are they not planning to buy our fighter jets anymore?”

The subordinate said helplessly: ”BOSS! Our exhibition is getting ready to end in these two days!”

”If they really wanted to buy, they definitely wouldn’t have waited until now!”

”I think we should look for other customers! Otherwise, the fighter jets prepared for this military exhibition will be stuck in our hands!”

The subordinate’s words reminded him!

That’s right!

Can’t wait any longer!

They had a batch of ready-made goods that needed to be sold urgently; if The Oil Tycoon wanted to buy again, they could pre-order!

But if they kept waiting for them and missed this opportunity to sell military equipment at the exhibition, who knows how long they would have to wait to sell these ready-made goods again!

The US person in charge gritted his teeth!

”No more waiting for them!”

”We will look for new customers!”
