Rebirth: Starting with 10 Billion Us Dollars

120: Chapter 120 The Second Battle (Part 2)Wall Street gold ETFs and the long positions of major hedge funds were directly crushed; the funds that had bought in at high positions were instantly trapped, suffering heavy losses.

Next was crude oil futures, crushing the Wall Street bulls.

The European banking crisis triggered fears of a global economic recession, causing NYMEX WTI crude oil futures to plummet in response. Below $103, $102, and $101 per barrel, the bulls’ defensive lines completely collapsed!

”Close out the short crude oil positions, and reverse to long!” Chen Mo ordered.

The crude oil long positions of investment banks like Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Chase completely collapsed. Their hedging strategies failed entirely, resulting in single-day losses exceeding billions of dollars, leaving them wailing in despair with no way to turn the tide.

Finally, it was LME copper futures, harvesting Glencore’s funds.

With weakening global demand and a strengthening dollar, LME copper futures plummeted all the way—$6800, $6700, $6600 per ton—the bulls had no power to fight back!

”Close out the short copper positions, and reverse to long!” Chen Mo issued the final order.

The copper long funds associated with Glencore suffered massive losses and were forced to cut positions and exit at low prices, sustaining heavy losses.

In just one day, across four major categories of foreign exchange and futures, Chen Mo maintained precise control throughout, crushing both bulls and bears, and harvesting across the board!

Top Wall Street investment banks and Japanese Capital collapsed across the board, with countless losses.

Public opinion across the internet went completely wild. Related topics flooded every major platform, and netizens and the financial circle were universally shocked:

”Holy crap! This is insane! A year’s worth of market trends happened in a single day; this is a financial nuclear bomb-level maneuver!”

”The USD/JPY exchange rate crashed straight through 101! The yen skyrocketed, and the Japanese stock market crashed like a dog; the wave of limit-downs is terrifying!”

”Gold skyrocketed $20 in an hour, while crude oil and copper plummeted; who could have predicted this trend!”

”This is definitely Big Shot Chen Mo! Sweeping Wall Street with one hand and crushing Japanese Capital with the other—so satisfying, absolutely satisfying!”

”Wall Street giants are suffering massive losses collectively, and the Japanese Ministry of Finance’s verbal interventions are useless. The people whose accounts were liquidated are lined up to the edge of the horizon!”

”This is the true God of Finance! With a flip of his hand, he summons the clouds; with another, he brings the rain!”

”Going head-to-head against Wall Street in the international financial market is truly exhilarating! Big Shot Chen Mo, I bow to you in respect!”

”Wasn’t Japanese Capital arrogant? Weren’t they making a fortune shorting the yen? How did they end up liquidated and crashing? So satisfying, so satisfying!”

”Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Chase were both beaten down; I’ll just drop a ’666’ for President Chen’s maneuver!”

”My god, it’s another dimension-reduction strike against Wall Street. Wall Street simply can’t outplay President Chen!”

”He truly lives up to the reputation of the man who dared to post ’Those who offend our Dragon Kingdom, even if far away, must be punished’ on foreign official websites. He says what he means and does what he says, completely crushing foreign capital!”

The new trending search terms rapidly hit the top. The sense of pride among domestic netizens was maxed out, and industry insiders in the financial circle were collectively broken; they posted articles analyzing this god-tier maneuver, but they could never grasp Chen Mo’s strategic logic, only able to marvel at his unfathomable financial methods.

Overseas social media platforms also completely exploded. Overseas Chinese spread the news to one another, with screens full of proud comments.

Foreign media were in a state of wailing and panic. Headlines were all ”Mysterious Eastern Capital Bloodbathes Wall Street” and ”Japanese Financial Market Suffers Heavy Blows.” The stock prices of major Wall Street investment banks plummeted in response; the market value of Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Chase evaporated by tens of billions of dollars in a single day, and senior management held emergency meetings throughout the night.

”Damn Chen Mo! He’s simply a devil! He actually hit every node precisely; we were completely powerless to fight back!”

The president of Goldman Sachs said with a gloomy face, looking at the loss report before him, his chest heaving violently. The arrogance that had previously made him certain he could crush Chen Mo had vanished, leaving only utter trepidation and unwillingness.

”It’s completely chaotic over in Japan. News of retail investors jumping off buildings and funds liquidating is endless, and most of our funds are trapped; we can’t withdraw them at all.”

The JPMorgan Chase executive looked bitter. They had intended to use their capital advantage to suppress Chen Mo, but instead, they were precisely manipulated by him and lost utterly.

This battle completely crushed the spirit of the Wall Street financial elite!

In Tokyo, Japan, the Financial Services Agency was dead silent. Officials looked ashen, watching the plummeting nikkei 225 index and listening to the protests of the public outside.

The institutions that had previously been shouting about making a fortune shorting the yen were now all on the verge of bankruptcy. The intervention calls from the Japanese Ministry of Finance were like waste paper in the face of absolute financial power, completely useless.

The top-floor trading room of the Tianxing headquarters in Shanghai was already a scene of jubilation. Traders excitedly hugged and cheered. Zhao Yuan held his phone and reported to Chen Mo:

”President Chen! We have won a complete victory! We harvested across all four categories, and total profits have broken through the 30 billion mark! Wall Street and Japanese Capital have been completely beaten down by us!”

Thirty billion in profit—this figure shocked everyone in the trading room. For their boss, Chen Mo, everyone was left with only extreme adoration and awe.

Chen Mo sat in the living room of Rose Garden, listening to Zhao Yuan’s report.

”Understood. Split up the profit funds and manage them; part of it will flow back to the group to support the company’s expansion strategy, and keep the rest as reserves.” Chen Mo ordered calmly.

”Understood, President Chen! I’ll arrange it immediately!” Zhao Yuan replied.

”For all personnel involved in the operation, first take out 50 million to split equally. After this operation is completely finished, there will be further rewards!”

”Thank you, President Chen.” Zhao Yuan replied with a smile.

Afterward, Zhao Yuan conveyed Chen Mo’s instructions to everyone in the trading room. Through the phone, Chen Mo heard the cheers from the trading room.

Chen Mo then hung up the phone.

Just as Chen Mo stood up and stretched, he saw Old Xu walk in.

Chen Mo saw Old Xu and said, ”Old Xu, is there intelligence coming in from Africa?”
