Rebirth: Starting with 10 Billion Us Dollars

110: Chapter 110 Global ShockJust as the tianxing third generation was selling like crazy domestically, Tianxing Technology’s official Weibo, official website, and all platform accounts of the Tianxing System released a heavyweight announcement at the same time:

”The tianxing third generation mobile phone will officially launch in overseas markets in one month.

Overseas pricing is as follows:

64GB version: $1,450

128GB version: $1,530

256GB version: $1,610”

As soon as this announcement came out, the already lively internet instantly began to boil again.

”Holy crap! Is President Chen really going to sell phones in the US?!”

”Starting at $1,450? This price is much more expensive than in the domestic market!”

”At the current exchange rate, that’s equivalent to 8,907.6 yuan, 9,398.48 yuan, and 9,889.91 yuan.”

”What’s wrong with it being a bit expensive? This is a high-end phone from Dragon Country; it should be sold at this price!”

”Exactly! In the past, it was always foreign phones coming here to sell at high prices. Now it’s our turn!”

”Support President Chen! Let the Americans taste what it’s like to be ’harvested like leeks’!”

”Hahaha, I can already imagine the scene of Americans lining up to buy the tianxing third generation!”

On the side of foreign netizens, the reaction was even more intense:

”OMG! Tianxing’s phones are finally coming! I’ve been waiting for this day for so long!”

”$1,450? Although it’s a bit expensive, for a 10nm chip, I’m willing!”

”Person above, it’s not just the chip. This is the world’s first 10nm phone, do you understand?”

”I’ve already thrown away my Apple phone, just waiting for the tianxing third generation!”

”Hasn’t the US government been targeting Tianxing? Why are they letting them sell now?”

”Who cares, as long as I can buy it! I want to be the first American to use the tianxing third generation!”

”I heard this phone’s performance crushes Apple and Samsung. I want to see if it’s true!”

The US tech circle was in an even greater collective uproar.

A famous tech blogger posted a tweet:

”The tianxing third generation landing in the US is a declaration of war from Dragon Country’s technology! A 10nm chip and a self-developed lithography machine—this is no longer catching up, it’s surpassing!”

The comments below instantly surpassed ten thousand:

”It’s over, our technological advantage is about to be overtaken by Dragon Country!”

”Aren’t those tech conglomerates supposed to be so great? How are they being rubbed into the ground by Chen Mo?”

”Look at Vine right now; it’s almost a joke. Tianxing Short Video International Edition is getting more and more popular overseas.”

”Just look at the Vine incident and see if those capitalists dare to target Tianxing again. You have to realize that Jason suffered a crushing defeat even with the support of Wall Street!”

”I think now that the tianxing third generation is coming, Apple and Samsung’s days won’t be easy either.”

Over on Jason’s side, seeing the news that the tianxing third generation was coming to the US, his face turned green with anger.

”Chen Mo! You bastard! You actually dare to come to the US to sell phones?”

He paced back and forth in his office, then suddenly stopped and said harshly:

”No, I can’t let him succeed! I will unite with the US government to block the tianxing third generation at the door!”

Just then, a noisy commotion came from outside.

”What’s going on? What’s the noise outside?”

Jason frowned and pushed open his office door.

He saw the company employees gathered around the TV screen in the lobby, pointing at the large screen and talking animatedly.

Jason walked over to take a look, and his expression instantly turned dark.

The TV was broadcasting a press conference, where an official from the US Department of Commerce was speaking to the camera:

”After our careful review, Tianxing Technology’s products meet relevant US standards, and we have no reason to prohibit their sale in the United States.

We welcome fair competition and hope that American companies can produce better products to meet the challenge.”

”No! This is impossible!”

Jason said angrily.

He knew that this time, he had truly lost, and he had lost completely.

Meanwhile, at Tianxing headquarters, Chen Mo was watching the press conference on TV.

”Chen Mo, you’re amazing!”

Wu Dongju ran in excitedly from the side.

”The US government actually agreed to let our phones be sold over there!”

Chen Mo smiled:

”That’s normal; they can’t stop it.

The technology of the tianxing third generation is right there. If they dared to block it, they would be slapping their own faces by admitting to a technological blockade.

But the main reason is that the US needs the ultra-light composite core material our lab just successfully developed. Otherwise, they would definitely be shameless enough to ban our phones!”

”ultra-light composite core material...”

Wu Dongju said with some curiosity.

Chen Mo smiled faintly and said:

”To the public, we say this is a newly broken-through technology, but in reality, the version used by our domestic government is already two generations more advanced than this.

The one we took to negotiate with them is just an obsolete version we phased out, and it’s for limited export. We’ll have to squeeze them for every bit more.”

Wu Dongju’s eyes lit up after hearing this, and she said:

”My god! You even calculated this step?

I thought this was our top-tier stuff; I didn’t expect it was just brought out to ’exchange for a pass’!”

Chen Mo leaned lazily back in his office chair and said:

”For a major event like going overseas, I couldn’t be unprepared.

The real stuff, the good stuff, must be held firmly in our own hands.

Just give them a little sweetness to make them open the channel, making it convenient for our subsequent products to enter on a large scale.”

Wu Dongju said with a smile:

”So from the very beginning, you were paving the way for the entire Tianxing series to go overseas?

Short videos, mobile phones, and later systems, chips, ecosystems...”

”Exactly.”

Chen Mo nodded and said:

”They’ve been strangling us for so long; it’s finally our turn to take the initiative.

The tianxing third generation, the previous carbon fiber, and Tianxing Short Video are just the first shots. The real layout is still to come.”

As they were speaking, Zhang Kai knocked and walked in excitedly, holding a tablet to report to Chen Mo:

”President Chen! Many overseas corporate agents are inquiring about agency rights!

According to statistics, global intentional orders have already exceeded three million, and agents from various countries are pressing for agency details!

Many agents have called to say their heads of operations have already flown over!

Apple and Samsung’s stock prices have taken a nosedive across the board!”

Chen Mo nodded and said:

”Tell them that supply is limited, so they must follow the queue and sequence; no price increases will be accepted.

In addition, all overseas versions must strictly follow export product standards. In terms of technology, we should reduce what needs to be reduced. Since the price isn’t much different from the domestic market, we can’t let them have the same experience as the domestic version; a stripped-down version is enough.”

”Understood, President Chen!” Zhang Kai nodded immediately.

Wu Dongju couldn’t help but laugh from the side:

”Those foreign capitalists have run into some real bad luck meeting you.”

Chen Mo laughed:

”If it weren’t for the need to give domestic low-to-mid-range phones a way to survive, I wouldn’t have set the price so high!”

Wu Dongju nodded from the side and said:

”I just looked at the comments, and now foreign netizens are crazy with envy, urging us every day to open pre-orders and distribute stock quickly.”

Chen Mo said, ”Let them wait. We have to satisfy domestic production capacity before we can arrange for overseas.”
