Rebirth: Starting with 10 Billion Us Dollars

101: Chapter 101 Harvesting, A Bountiful HarvestChen Mo said to Zhao Yuan:

”Those people on Wall Street, after losing so much, do you think they will just admit defeat? They will definitely cover their positions and try to pull the market up to earn back their losses, just like gamblers. But this is exactly our great opportunity to continue feasting.”

Hearing Chen Mo’s words, Zhao Yuan immediately understood:

”President Chen, you mean we should keep adding to our positions? Putting in this 2.5 billion in floating profit as well?”

”Yes.”

Chen Mo continued:

”The 3 billion tech stock short position, the 2 billion gold and crude oil long position, plus this 2.5 billion floating profit—invest it all.

Add 4.5 billion to continue shorting tech stocks, focusing mainly on Amazon, Facebook, Twitter, and the nasdaq index; we will add more as they fall.

Pour 3 billion into the gold and crude oil long positions. Let’s take advantage of the current momentum to continue accumulating chips at a low level.”

Zhao Yuan gasped sharply:

”President Chen... are you serious? This is 2.5 billion US dollars! If we put it all in, our total position will reach 7.5 billion US dollars! If Wall Street finds out, they will go crazy!”

”Good, let them go crazy.”

Chen Mo’s eyes held a hint of disdain.

”When they were harvesting the entire world before, did they ever think this day would come? I want to let them know that someone dared to confront them head-on, dared to harvest their money. Now we hold the advantage; the upper hand is with us.”

Chen Mo continued:

”So what if they target us? The trend has already begun. The tech stock valuation is a bubble, the Ukraine conflict hasn’t stopped, and the expectation that the Federal Reserve will tighten QE hasn’t changed. Even if they have deep pockets, they cannot fight against the general trend.

Besides, this money was earned through our own capabilities. What can they do to us?”

Zhao Yuan considered Chen Mo’s words and thought: That’s true!

Then he said:

”President Chen, I understand! You want to press the advantage and strike while the iron is hot, completely hurting Wall Street so they never dare to be arrogant again! I’ll go arrange the position increase right now!”

Before the us stocks opened again.

The sound of keyboard clicking filled the trading room.

The traders quickly operated the keyboards following Chen Mo’s instructions. Order after order to increase positions was sent out, and the position numbers on the screen continuously rose.

When the market opened, Zhao Yuan constantly reported the latest situation to Chen Mo:

”President Chen, the tech stock short position increase is complete, and we secured most of the positions at low prices!”

”President Chen, the gold and crude oil long positions are also increased. Gold and crude oil are still rising now!”

”President Chen, Amazon has fallen again, dropping over 22%. The floating profit on the short position is starting to rise again!”

”Mm,” Chen Mo nodded:

”Keep watching, don’t be anxious. Once the market reaches the predetermined point, liquidate everything immediately.”

Just like that, after another hour or so, the global financial market trend gradually stabilized. The decline in tech stocks began to slow down, and the rise in gold and crude oil also gradually leveled off.

Seeing this situation, Chen Mo then said to Zhao Yuan:

”It’s about time. Liquidate everything and recall the capital. If we wait another day, we won’t have time to close all positions.”

Zhao Yuan was momentarily stunned, then reacted and nodded:

”Understood, President Chen! I’ll go arrange the liquidation right now!”

Zhao Yuan quickly relayed Chen Mo’s instructions through the headset:

”Attention everyone! Liquidate all tech stock short positions and gold crude oil long positions immediately. Quickly recall the funds, no delays allowed. Pay attention to market volatility!”

After liquidating positions over two night sessions, all the traders stopped their actions, feeling a mix of exhaustion and excitement, and reported to Zhao Yuan:

”Director Zhao, all tech stock short positions have been closed!”

”Director Zhao, the liquidation of gold and crude oil long positions is finished, and funds are starting to return!”

Zhao Yuan quickly calculated the data on his tablet. After finishing, he looked at Chen Mo, who had just arrived, and said:

”President Chen! We did it! We did it! All orders have been liquidated, and all funds have been recalled!”

”Mm,” Chen Mo said:

”How much did we earn?”

”For the tech stock short positions, including the additions later, the total principal was 4.5 billion, resulting in a final profit of 60%, which is 2.7 billion US dollars!”

Zhao Yuan reported quickly.

”For the gold and crude oil long positions, including the additions later, the total principal was 3 billion, yielding a profit of 45%, earning 1.35 billion US dollars! Our initial capital was 5 billion, and with all the profits, the total is 9.05 billion US dollars!”

”Mm, make sure the tax avoidance is done properly. If we don’t have to pay an extra cent in tax overseas, we won’t!” Chen Mo instructed.

”Understood, President Chen!” Zhao Yuan responded.

Zhao Yuan could barely contain his joy, rubbing his hands together: ”President Chen, this time was so satisfying! Those people on Wall Street are probably crying themselves unconscious in the bathroom!”

Chen Mo waved his hand and said with a smile: ”This is what they deserve. They harvested wealth globally before and ruined so many people. Losing this small amount of money now is nothing.

Remember, no matter what positions you take in the future, take your profits when they are good and don’t be greedy for the last penny.”

”Don’t worry, President Chen, we will all remember that!”

Zhao Yuan replied with a chuckle from the side.

Chen Mo shook his head, clicked on various stock forums, futures forums, and forex groups, projecting them onto the large screen.

At this moment, the internet had completely exploded:

”My heavens! This market move is too crazy!”

”Yeah! Tech stocks have plummeted like crazy, and gold and crude oil can’t stop rising. Who is operating behind the scenes?”

”Did you hear? A mysterious large fund precisely shorted tech stocks and went long on gold and crude oil, directly harvesting Wall Street and making billions in a single day!”

”Damn! That amazing? Could this be our domestic big shot Chen Mo?”

”Very possible. Otherwise, who has the ability to dare confront those bloodsucking capitalists on Wall Street head-on?”

”So satisfying! Before, it was always Wall Street harvesting us retail investors. Now someone has finally taken revenge for us. I bow down to the big shot!”

”I’m crying. I was heavily invested in tech stocks and am now ruined, almost having to mortgage my house, while the big shot is making crazy money. How can the gap between people be so big?”

”Condolences to the person above. I shorted gold and was immediately liquidated. Years of savings are gone. I can only watch the big shot feast, we can’t even get the soup.”

”Have you noticed how precise the big shot’s operations are?”

”Yes! They liquidated tech stocks exactly when they hit the target point, and exited gold and crude oil right at their peak. This operation could be written into a textbook!”

”Exactly, exactly! If I had this foresight, I wouldn’t have lost so miserably! Is there any big shot willing to show their face? Please take us along!”

”Stop dreaming. How could a big shot of this caliber show their face? They’ve already made enough money and are off enjoying life. Why would they care about us retail investors?”

”Regardless, this round was truly satisfying! Those arrogant guys on Wall Street were finally dealt with. Thumbs up for the big shot!”

”I heard many institutions on Wall Street were liquidated and went bankrupt. So satisfying!”

Zhao Yuan stood aside, watching the heated discussion on the large screen, and couldn’t help but laugh:

”President Chen, look, someone online has guessed it’s you!”

Chen Mo smiled faintly and turned off the projection on the large screen:

”Boring. Tell the brothers to clean up. Once the funds arrive, give them a few days off to rest well. You all worked hard this time. I’ll cover all expenses, and I’ll also set aside fifty million as a bonus.”

”Thank you, President Chen!”

”President Chen is generous!”

”Being with President Chen is simply too fortunate!”

”President Chen, you are my god!”
