Technological Empire Starts From Shanzhai System

Chapter 300: Powerful Vista system!
Chapter 300 Powerful Vista system!

People around the world saw that WeiRuan directly invested 2 billion US dollars in the research and development of intelligent programming technology, and they felt that WeiRuan is WeiRuan.

This rich and powerful person is like golden thighs, but this is not just all the actions of Weiruan Company!

Weisoft had a second announcement shortly after the first announcement came out.

The second announcement is that Weisoft announced that it will fully develop the WindowsVista system!

How to develop the WindowsVista system with all our strength, the means of sight is naturally to invest money and manpower.

Use a huge amount of money and manpower to quickly make the WindowsVista system land quickly.

Among them, Weisoft Systems announced that they will spend 1 billion US dollars, and at the same time expand the staff of the WindowsVista system development department from 4,000 to 20,000!

Finally, the WindowsVista system was quickly landed through the crowd tactics, so that people all over the world can experience the powerful WindowsVista system.

According to the goals announced by Weisoft, they announced that they will release their WindowsVista operating system on November 22 this year.

So that people all over the world can use the world’s strongest operating system and experience many innovative functions of the new system.

And Weisoft also claimed in the announcement that their system is definitely the strongest system in the world, and can easily sweep the XP system into the garbage dump of history!

People around the world saw that Weiruan even said the words ”sweeping the XP system into the heap of history”.

They immediately raised great expectations and curiosity for the WindowsVista system.

Weiruan is so confident, it is conceivable that this operating system called Windows Vista must be an unusual system.

Moreover, Weisoft has directly invested 1 billion US dollars and a super-large R&D team of 20,000 people. It is conceivable that this new computer operating system will never disappoint!

It can be said that this time WeiRuan made two big moves in succession, which immediately swept away the dissatisfaction and slander of many people in the country and even the world towards WeiRuan.

Through these two large-scale actions, Weiruan successfully demonstrated its own strong strength, and let people see the power of Weiruan through huge investment.

Let people see that Weiruan is not only despicable and shameless, but also has world-shaking scientific research strength and huge scientific research investment.

At this time, such a terrifying Weisoft company is serious, and it is conceivable that Hantang Technology will be unlucky next.

At this time, in Daxia’s Internet, with the big money of Weiruan and Intel, coupled with the fact that Intel’s Paul Odess is good at using public opinion offensive.

At this time, the public opinion of the people in Daxia had a turning point for these two companies.

Although they own it, many people are a little angry and contemptuous of these two companies.

But the Internet does have a lot of people talking about the products of these two companies.

They discuss how powerful Intel’s processors are, and how much money they need to buy Intel processors.

In these discussions, they completely ignore the dirty things that Intel has done before.

At this time, even if many of the people discussing these are people who have sworn never to buy and use the products of these two companies again.

But they seemed to have amnesia, and they never mentioned that they would never buy products from these two companies again.

Instead, they enthusiastically discussed how much money is needed to buy Intel processors and use Weisoft’s new system.

Discuss whether Daxia can purchase Intel processors, whether it can use Weisoft’s system, etc.

Such discussions are gradually brewing on the Internet, and the number of people discussing them is also increasing.

Follow this trend to grow. I am afraid that when their products are released, they must be expected by the whole world!

At that time, maybe when Intel released the processor, it could reproduce the grand occasion when the Pingguo mobile phone was launched in the previous life, and people all over the world queued up to buy new mobile phones even in the middle of the night!

…

Sichuan Province, Rongcheng, Han and Tang Research Institute.

”Is it a 14nm chip? It’s really a good way.”

At this time, Lin Xuan was impressed by Intel’s generosity, and had to feel that Silicon Valley really squeezed out all the toothpaste this time.

At the same time, Lin Xuan was also emotional for changing the world.

According to the history of the previous life, 14 nanometers will not be possible until 13 years later.

But at this time, because of the birth of Hantang Technology, in order to compete with Hantang Technology in Silicon Valley, they directly squeezed the toothpaste, and directly made the process technology leap from 65 to 14 nanometers!

I have to say that this time Silicon Valley really suffered a lot of blood, and the blood was not just that they spent a lot of money to develop the 14nm process technology.

The more important thing is that they directly gave up 45nm, 32nm, 28nm, 22nm, 16nm and many other chips.

Among so many generations of process technology, it is conceivable how much money Silicon Valley can make in the process of gradually advancing the process technology.

And now they have directly abandoned so many generations of process technology, allowing the process technology to be upgraded to 14 nanometers at once. It is conceivable that Silicon Valley is really bleeding this time.

”Boss, this time the other party launched a 14nm process technology chip. I am afraid that our Hantang processor will not be able to compete with the 14nm Core processor. After all, the gap in process technology is too great.”

Chen He on the side spoke his words worriedly.

To be honest, Chen He has no confidence in whether the Hantang processor can beat the Core processor.

Although it seems that the gap between the two is only 31 nanometers, but in fact it cannot be described as a mere 31 nanometers.

Because of the nature of the advanced process technology, more transistors can be packed in the same area, so as to obtain stronger computing power.

Every time the process technology shrinks by 1 nanometer, it ultimately means that more transistors can be packed in the same area.

As for chips, the more transistors there are, the stronger the performance will be. The ultimate performance of a lot of transistors is that the performance will be stronger.

Chen He doesn’t know how many transistors the powerful instruction set and architecture can replace in front of the several times more transistors, but he knows that Intel’s processor must be very powerful!

“14nm processors are a real problem.”

Speaking of Lin Xuan here, he also felt a little headache.

If the gap in process technology is too large, it is really difficult to make up for it simply by relying on the instruction set and advanced architecture.

If the architecture and instruction set can really create miracles and reduce the huge gap in the 31nm process technology, then global semiconductor companies will not need to develop advanced process technology.

Hantang processors can create miracles by virtue of the Hantang instruction set and advanced microprocessor architecture, but this miracle can’t make up for the huge gap of 31 nanometers, and can’t make up for the gap of several times more transistors!

”Then let’s start the multi-core era. Anyway, we can produce our own chips at a low cost. If one doesn’t work, let’s come together!”

Lin Xuan has made a decision!

That’s right, he wants to start the multi-core era ahead of schedule!

”Multi-core processor?”

Hearing Lin Xuan’s words, Chen He’s eyes flashed thoughtful.

Multi-core processor Chen He is no stranger, because the current mainstream CPU processor has been upgraded to the dual-core era.

It is said that both Intel and A.M.D are developing quad-core processors, and it is expected that they will officially enter the era of quad-core CPUs next year.

Obviously, this time Lin Xuan is also planning to let the Hantang processor directly start dual-core, quad-core or even more multi-core!

”But this will inevitably increase the cost, after all, one core can sell one processor.

Now the cost of integrating two cores into one processor has directly doubled. ”

Chen He’s description is actually a bit wrong, but it is indeed correct from a certain result.

The first quad-core processor in the previous life was assembled by Intel using two glued dual-core processors!

This is actually equivalent to putting two glue dual-core processors together to form a quad-core directly.

Among them, the two glue dual-core processors can actually be sold as two processors.

Now that Lin Xuan uses a multi-core processor strategy, it is equivalent to integrating several processors together, and the cost will definitely increase accordingly.

”It doesn’t matter, if you improve, you can improve. We can produce core chips by ourselves, and the production equipment is made by ourselves.

The amount of cost is up to us. After the development of the chip is completed, the actual follow-up cost is only the depreciation cost of the machine, labor cost and material cost. ”

It is obvious that Lin Xuan doesn’t care about giving consumers more benefits and increasing corresponding costs.

In Lin Xuan’s view, the current task of Hantang Computer is to replace the compatible machines of the X86 system with the computer system of Hantang Technology!

”I see.”

Chen He nodded, since Lin Xuan has already made a decision, as a subordinate, he only needs to execute Lin Xuan’s strategy perfectly.

In this regard, Lin Xuan nodded slightly and continued to work on his affairs.

Now his task is to lead researchers to develop EDA software. As for the development of multi-core processors, that is the future.

Without EDA software, it is useless to say how many cores are developed. Without solving EDA software, Hantang Technology can’t even develop chips!

...

Time passed slowly, July 1, 2005.

Even after more than 10 days, the discussion on Intel has not stopped.

There are still many people discussing this matter in various penguin groups and major forums.

This is a question from a group of friends named Ceramic Pot:

”How powerful do you think Intel’s processor is? Do you think it is dual-core or single-core?”

Regarding this, a group member named ”Konggou Enlightenment” in the group said:

”This is a 14nm processor, Intel will definitely not release a dual-core processor, but a single-core processor!

After all, the glue dual-core processor has two cores. If the two cores are disassembled and sold, you can sell two processors and earn twice the money.

Moreover, Intel uses a 14nm process technology, and their processor performance is already powerful enough, and there is no need for them to pursue the performance of two cores. ”

Li Zheng: ”Why are you all talking about Intel processors, are you all planning to buy Intel processors?

Don’t you want to buy processors from Hantang Technology? ”
