Technological Empire Starts From Shanzhai System

Chapter 257: Furious Intel!
Chapter 257 Furious Intel!

In this regard, Cisco’s Chambers did not say what, but said without shame:

”Mr. Lin, because of some commercial interests, we did something wrong.

But that is business competition after all. In business competition, you cannot dominate the market if your product is better than others.

The winners in the market are achieved by many factors, so let’s take into account that we have indeed caused certain losses to Hantang Technology Company.

The Wi-Fi Alliance has contracted all the lawyers and manpower costs for Hantang Technology to respond to patent litigation. I wonder if this is satisfactory? ”

”Ah.”

Lin Xuan laughed again, he had already expected this.

When the WIFI Alliance set off a $20 billion patent lawsuit, he once vowed that all future patent lawsuit costs would be borne by the WiFi Alliance.

Now the Wi-Fi Alliance does promise to do this, but just doing that doesn’t satisfy him.

”In addition to the loss of patent fees, our reputation of Hantang Technology has also suffered a huge blow. I wonder if you admit it?”

Hearing Lin Xuan’s words, Chambers twitched the corner of his mouth, and cursed in his heart, ”What a ghost!”

In Chambers’ mind, Hantang Technology not only did not lose its reputation in the face of the WiFi Alliance’s patent lawsuit, but it made Hantang Technology even more supportive!

After all, the WiFi Alliance is suing Hantang Technology for its WIFI patent, and Hantang Technology belongs to the weak side.

In this case, both the people of Daxia and the people of the world are close relatives, so the reputation of Hantang Science and Technology did not suffer much loss.

The corners of his mouth twitched. Although Chambers looked heartbroken, he still spoke out about the compensation from the WiFi Alliance without hesitation:

”Well, as compensation for the loss of Hantang Technology’s reputation, our WIFI Alliance is willing to pay 10 million US dollars to purchase the license to use the wireless optical communication patent!”

”Our Botong Company also agrees.”

”Our Luxun company also agrees.”

On the other side, Intel President Paul Odes also nodded slightly.

If they can jointly invest 10 million US dollars to purchase the license for the use and production of wireless optical communication patents, it is indeed within Intel’s psychological range.

”Are you sending beggars away?”

Seeing that he only wanted to invest 10 million US dollars together, and wanted to win the right to use the patented wireless optical communication technology, Lin Xuan was almost amused by these guys.

These guys have never seen the world when Hantang Technology?

Wanting to obtain the authorization to use the wireless optical communication patent for only 10 million US dollars is simply treating Hantang Technology as a fool.

It’s like suddenly slapping your head, which makes your eyes stare, and finally gives you 100 yuan to get rid of it.

For ordinary people, the 100 yuan is worth a slap in the face, but for the rich in Hantang Technology, is he short of this 100 yuan?

Responding to this, Richard Warner, the president of Texas Instruments, shook his head slightly, and then slowly said a number that made Intel President Paul Odess frown:

”Mr. Lin, how about this, 50 million US dollars!

We paid 50 million US dollars to purchase the basic patent usage rights of wireless optical communication patents. ”

Shaking his head slightly, Lin Xuan slowly said something that made Intel President Paul Odess instantly furious:

”It’s not about money, what I need is for the WIPI wireless LAN standard to become an international WIFI standard!”

”This is impossible!”

Intel’s president, Paul Odess, instantly strongly opposed it.

”We at Intel will never agree that the WIPI wireless LAN standard will become the international WiFi standard!

If the WIPI wireless LAN standard becomes the WiFi standard, what is left of our WiFi Alliance? ”

Speaking of which, Paul Olds looked at Lin Xuan coldly, with infinite anger in his eyes!

Why is Intel so angry?

This is because there are too many black technologies in the WIPI wireless LAN standard!

These black technologies have a huge role in promoting WiFi, and they are also technical patents that people cannot avoid!

Once the WIPI wireless LAN standard becomes the WIFI international standard, relying on many black technologies in the WIPI wireless LAN standard that people cannot avoid.

Then Hantang Technology holds too much patent proportion, then the WiFi Alliance is equivalent to becoming the WiFi Alliance dominated by Hantang Technology!

Because Hantang Technology’s patent use ratio is too large, it is finally calculated on average.

When they want to use WiFi, they must pay the patent to Hantang Technology, not the patent fee of Hantang Technology!

In this case, if the WIPI wireless LAN standard becomes an international standard.

That is equivalent to letting the wolf of Hantang Technology come in to eat everyone’s cake.

Intel’s president Paul Odess, who realized this profound meaning, naturally couldn’t tolerate all this.

But at this time, Fermi, the president of Botong Company, quietly raised their price:

”Mr. Lin Xuan, I think we can raise to $100 million in cash!”

Regarding this, the presidents of other companies on the side also nodded in approval.

Even if it is 100 million in cash, it is compared to making WIPI wireless LAN an international standard for WiFi.

Let Hantang Technology use the power of the WiFi Alliance to harvest global patent fees, as well as the patent fees of all companies present.

Then it is better to give Hantang Technology 100 million US dollars in cash in one go, and directly buy the travel expenses.

After all, this is paid by the entire WiFi Alliance, not by them alone.

In the end, on average, a company only has millions or even millions of dollars.

Lin Xuan shook his head again, and did not agree to the WiFi Alliance’s purchase of a wireless optical communication patent production license for US$100 million:

”There is nothing to talk about about the WIPI wireless LAN standard becoming the international standard of the WiFi Alliance. You either agree or forget it.”

At this time, Intel’s president, Paul Odess, said threateningly:

”Mr. Lin, do you really want to fight us to the end?”

Looking at Paul Olds’ eyes full of threats and oppression, Lin Xuan turned back without showing any weakness:

”Why not? Isn’t there already a deathmatch before? Why not continue?”

”you!”

Paul Olds was furious at Lin Xuan’s words. He pointed at Lin Xuan’s head with infinite anger in his eyes.

On the other side, Lin Xuan turned his head to Secretary He with apologetic eyes and said:

”Secretary He, let’s take a break for this negotiation.”

”It’s okay, this kind of thing can’t be achieved in a short time.”

Secretary He shrugged his shoulders, looking indifferent, but there was a very satisfied smile in his eyes.

Because Lin Xuan proposed that WIPI wireless LAN must become the international standard of WiFi, which is in the interests of Daxia.

The previous WIPI wireless LAN standard l and the dispute over WiFi standards caused Daxia’s mobile phones to be unable to use WiFi, which also caused headaches for many people.

Although Hantang Technology has launched a WIPI wireless LAN chip and a mobile phone module.

Solved the problem that there is a wireless LAN standard in Daxia area but there are no products that cannot use wireless LAN to surf the Internet, but this also exposed a new problem.

The problem is that Daxia’s wireless LAN standard is not compatible with foreign WIFI wireless LAN standards!

Because the two standards are incompatible, this has had a serious impact on the international sales of Daxia’s electronic communication products, and it can be said that Daxia’s electronic communication products have declined virtually.

So at this time, Lin Xuan proposed that the WIPI wireless local area network standard l must become the WiFi international standard, which made Secretary He very satisfied.

Faced with the terrifying black technology of wireless optical communication technology, Secretary He believes that the WiFi Alliance may hesitate, get angry, and argue, but they will bow their heads in the end!

Because of the ultra-low cost of wireless optical communication technology, terrifying network speed and broad prospects in the future, WiFi technology is as weak as a baby!

If many companies in these WiFi alliances do not take advantage of the opportunity that there are not many wireless optical communication technology equipment manufacturers, they will vigorously develop their own products.

After the wireless optical communication technology market stabilizes, it will be too late to enter the market in the face of the brand and siphon effect.

People have already divided the small plates and cakes, which has established a market reputation and brand.

It can be said that you expend a lot of energy to re-enter at this time.

So every day of delay now is a huge loss for the WiFi Alliance in the future!

”Humph!”

Seeing the two people who seemed to have a very tacit understanding, Paul Olds was very dissatisfied, but he had no reason to get angry.

So he could only hum and turn around slowly, leaving behind the presidents of several communication giants who looked at each other.

Compared with Intel, the overlord of the computer chip industry, other Cisco companies and communication equipment companies such as Botong or Luxun are obviously more concerned about wireless optical communication technology.

Because their main business is routers, Internet or communication equipment such as mobile phones and telephones!

It doesn’t matter that Intel doesn’t have WiFi, they still have their computer and server processor market, and they still sit firmly on the Diaoyutai.

But for Internet communication equipment companies such as Cisco, Botong, and Luxun.

Losing WiFi is tantamount to losing half of the country, which cannot help them to be careless.

So in the face of Intel’s unilateral departure, they did not leave with them. Instead, they looked at each other and discussed in a low voice.

So the next thing is naturally a topic of wrangling among each other, in which Hantang Technology is naturally sitting firmly on the Diaoyutai.

The night after that, Hantang Technology and WiFi Alliance held another business negotiation,

In this meeting, Intel President Paul Odess was also furious again.

Because the WiFi Alliance once again violated Intel’s will and chose to compromise with Hantang Technology!

They actually added a core member to the WiFi Alliance, and this member’s position is still a big boss!

The proportion of this position is even more important than the position of Intel, because Hantang Technology has two major black technologies of ”beamforming” and ”dual-frequency fusion”.

In addition, there are many other technologies, which are technologies that people cannot avoid.

In the patent list specially assigned by Paul Olds.

If the WIPI wireless LAN standard of Hantang Technology can really become the international standard of WiFi.

With the superiority and irreplaceability of WIPI wireless LAN.

Among the patent fees earned by selling corresponding equipment in the future, for every 10 yuan of patent fees collected, 40% will be ceded to Hantang Technology!

If it’s just patent fees, then Intel is not short of this money.

After all, the famous saying ”Intel is rich and powerful, A.M.D who is getting poorer and poorer” is not a joke.

The problem is that the WIPI wireless LAN standard of Hantang Technology has become the basic standard of WiFi.

Among the standard-setters of the WiFi Alliance in the future, Hantang Technology will never be bypassed!
