Technological Empire Starts From Shanzhai System

Chapter 278: Start with X86 instruction set authorization!
Chapter 278 Start with X86 instruction set authorization!

But as long as Hantang Technology does not sell the production and use authorization of wireless optical communication technology on a large scale.

Then the competitive pressure in the wireless optical communication technology equipment market is not too great, and it has good profits.

If Hantang Technology is willing to license the wireless optical communication technology to Weisheng Electronics, so that Weisheng Electronics can produce wireless optical communication technology equipment.

I dare not say anything else, as long as Weisheng Electronics plays a stable role, and there are not many manufacturers that can produce wireless optical communication technology equipment, then Weisheng Electronics can live very well.

So this is a long-term money. As long as we don’t mess around, the market value of Weisheng Electronics may double in the future!

”Mr. Lin, are you sure?”

At this time, Mr. Shen asked Lin Xuan with a trembling voice.

At this time, he found that if Weisheng Electronics cooperates with Lin Xuan or in-depth cooperation with Hantang Technology, Weisheng Electronics can get so many benefits!

Thinking of those benefits and thinking of Weisheng Electronics, the market value may be multiplied several times in the future, Mr. Shen is naturally a little untenable.

”It’s really up to you to decide.”

Lin Xuan didn’t say anything, but smiled and looked at the other party.

Among the many benefits that Lin Xuan gave up, no matter what it was, Lin Xuan did not give any real money or cash.

Whether it was willing to help Weisheng Electronics OEM motherboard chipsets before, or wait for the successful development of Hantang Technology’s CPU.

Let Weisheng Electronics develop a new chipset motherboard centered on the CPU chip of Hantang Technology, or authorize Weisheng Electronics to produce wireless optical communication technology.

No matter which of these things, Lin Xuan did not give real money and cash, but gave Weisheng Electronics the current or future growth opportunities!

The value of these growth opportunities naturally depends on Weisheng Electronics, or how much their husband and wife are willing to offset the price of X86 instruction set authorization...

At this time, Ms. Huang sighed slowly, and said as if her eyes were filled with memories:

“At the beginning, Weisheng Electronics spent US$167 million to acquire Cyrix, and then spent tens of millions to acquire Centaur.

It can be said that just for these two companies, we spent nearly 200 million US dollars that year! ”

Hearing Ms. Huang’s words, Lin Xuan also nodded slightly.

At this time, Ms. Huang went on to say:

“But today is different from the past. Weisheng Electronics is very yearning for the prospects that Mr. Lin showed, so we Weisheng Electronics are willing to pay a price of 100 million US dollars.

Transfer all the licenses and even all patents of our VIA (Weisheng Electronics) holding the X86 instruction set to you. ”

”Wife!”

Hearing that Ms. Huang dropped the price directly to US$100 million in one go, Mr. Shen on the side suddenly became anxious.

They spent more than 200 million yuan to acquire these two companies, but now they have not reaped any benefits.

Among them, the tangible and even intangible funds lost by Weisheng Electronics may have reached hundreds of millions of dollars or even more than 1 billion dollars.

At this time, it cost a lot of money and didn’t get a single hair. The only achievement so far, the X86 instruction set authorization and the related patents held by the two companies were finally packaged and sold to Hantang Technology for 100 million US dollars.

Thinking of such a low price and the huge price that Weisheng Electronics had paid, Mr. Shen, the general manager of Weisheng Electronics, was very heartbroken.

But in the face of her husband’s hesitant behavior and eyes, Ms. Huang waved her hand slightly at this time, and then looked at Lin Xuan firmly.

Although it is distressing to sell the X86 instruction set and the related processor patents once owned by the two companies to Lin Xuan for a mere $100 million.

But Weisheng Electronics continues to hold on, it will only be like a blood-sucking octopus sucking blood on Weisheng Electronics, making Weisheng Electronics weaker and weaker, so sometimes we have to decisively kill Ma Su with tears!

Although Hantang Technology only gave a mere 100 million US dollars, the things they gave were more useful than money, so Ms. Huang was even more motivated to kill the horse.

On the other side, seeing his wife’s decisive eyes, Mr. Shen could only sigh helplessly.

It’s a matter of acquiescence. Seeing that the husband and wife have reached an agreement at this time, Lin Xuan on the side also said with a smile.

”Then wish us a happy cooperation.”

”I wish us a happy cooperation.”

”Happy cooperation...”...

…

Two days later, at the Hantang Science and Technology Headquarters in Rongcheng.

At this time, hundreds of reporters were invited, and the reporters at the scene were excitedly discussing the press conference while waiting for Lin Xuan to take the stage.

Lin Xuan suddenly sent news to major newspapers and even Internet media companies that there was a big news announcement. In the end, these reporter soldiers could only rush over overnight.

The time was exactly 10:00 in the morning, and many reporters who rushed over overnight from afar had thick dark circles in their eyes.

But the dark circles under their eyes did not affect their work status at all. At this time, they were all excitedly discussing the press conference, discussing what news will be released this time?

Among them, some reporters looked at a loss, but some reporters flashed thoughtful eyes, as if they knew what would be released in this press conference.

In this way, amidst the whispers of the reporters, Lin Xuan, Mr. Shen and Ms. Huang from Weisheng Electronics slowly walked into the conference site, and slowly came to the center of the release platform.

Regarding this, the reporters at the scene naturally took photos in a hurry.

At this time, even the bewildered reporters seemed to have thought of something, so they all showed ecstatic expressions.

Taking the microphone handed over by the staff, Lin Xuan looked at the reporters with excited eyes and said:

”It’s a pleasure to meet you all. The theme of our press conference this time is to announce the official cooperation agreement between Hantang Technology and Weisheng Electronics.

In this agreement, we Hantang Technology spent 100 million US dollars in cash to buy Weisheng Electronics, all the ownership of the X86 instruction set authorization and the corresponding processor architecture patents! ”

”Wow!”

Hearing Lin Xuan bluntly stated the purpose of this time, the reporters at the scene were in an uproar.

Lin Xuan actually obtained the authorization of the Hantang X86 instruction set from Weisheng Electronics? ! And also obtained related patents for other processors!

The reporters at the scene had disbelief and shock in their eyes.

As reporters, they know much more intelligence news than ordinary people, before they came to cover the news this time.

They learned about Hantang Technology’s situation in Hantang X86 instruction set and the situation of Weisheng Electronics Company.

Among them, they also learned that in 1999, Weisheng Electronics spent 167 million US dollars to acquire Cyrix.

It is important to know that the US$167 million was US$167 million in 1999. During this period of nearly five years, the US dollar has also expanded to a certain extent.

And the most unbelievable thing is that Hantang Technology bought all the X86 instruction set authorizations of Weisheng Electronics and even the related patents of other processors for a mere $100 million.

Is Weisheng Electronics selling too cheaply?

In people’s minds, it is normal for the authorization of the X86 instruction set to sell for 200.3 billion U.S. dollars.

”Mr. Lin, are you sure you are right? Are you sure that Hantang Technology purchased the X86 instruction set settlement license at an ultra-low price of 100 million US dollars?

And is it still all X86 instruction set authorization and corresponding processor patents? ”

At this time, Ms. Huang on the side did not wait for Lin Xuan’s answer. She was the party selling the X86 instruction set authorization.

At this time, it would be best for her to answer, so he said slowly under people’s surprised eyes:

”We Weisheng Electronics did package all the X86 instruction sets that our company has mastered, and even the processor architecture patents we currently have, and sold them to Hantang Technology for $100 million!

That is to say, from now on, Weisheng Electronics has no authorization for the X86 instruction set, and we can no longer produce any chips with the X86 instruction set! ”

”Wow!”

Hearing Ms. Huang’s words, I heard Ms. Shu personally say that Weisheng Electronics has lost the production authorization of the X86 instruction set, and will no longer be able to produce chips with the X86 instruction set.

People finally understand what Hantang Technology has obtained this time, and what Hantang Technology has bought!

So the shock in people’s eyes could no longer be concealed. The reporters looked at each other with shock and horror in their eyes.

”Kacha Kacha Kacha Kacha Kacha Kacha Kacha...”

After being shocked, the reporters also hurriedly pressed the cameras in their hands, and then stared intently at the two sides on the stage.

Two minutes later, as the camera lights stop blinking.

A beautiful reporter also slowly raised her hand. In response, Lin Xuan also motioned for the other party to speak.

”Ms. Huang, can we interview you?”

Hearing what the beautiful reporter said, Ms. Huang also nodded slightly to indicate that the other party could speak.

Seeing this, the beautiful reporter also asked her question:

”Ms. Huang, why did Weisheng Electronics transfer the authorization of the X86 instruction set and other corresponding processor patents to Hantang Technology at such a low price.

I personally feel that these two things are superimposed, and perhaps selling for 200 million US dollars is not too low.

After all, Weisheng Electronics spent $167 million to acquire Cyrix.

In addition, this does not count another Centaur company that also holds the X86 instruction set that was acquired simultaneously that year.

At this time, considering the inflation factor, it is reasonable for you to sell those things to Hantang Technology for 200 million or even 300 million U.S. dollars. ”

Hearing the words of this tall and pretty reporter, hundreds of reporters at the scene also nodded slightly.

Indeed, Weisheng Electronics may have spent close to 200 million US dollars in cash to acquire these two companies.

At this time, it is reasonable to resell it to Hantang Technology for 200 million US dollars.

Facing the curious gazes from the reporters, Ms. Huang suddenly sighed.

I saw her holding her husband’s hand silently, and said slowly under the curious eyes of reporters on the scene:

”The reason why I did this is for my husband’s chip dream, Daxia Chip Dream!”
