Technological Empire Starts From Shanzhai System

Chapter 273: Negotiation between Hantang Technology and Intel
Chapter 273 Negotiation between Hantang Technology and Intel

In the end, it will definitely seriously interfere with the normal operation of other companies. If the anti-monopoly law does not hit you with an iron fist, who will you hit?

So although Lin Xuan can do this, he can even hold a large amount of certain companies, and then rely on the system to be blessed by the BUFF justice state to make the company become the top 10 or even NO.1 in the industry.

But Lin Xuan has never done this, but tried his best to suppress himself. Anyway, Lin Xuan’s purpose of making money is not to make money.

It is to make money to realize the dream of Da Xia’s revival. If you face the iron fist of anti-monopoly in order to make money desperately, everything will be for naught.

So Lin Xuan suppressed himself all the time, and didn’t enter into other fields aggressively by relying on the experience of his previous life.

Didn’t take advantage of the knowledge of later generations to invest the last large sum of money in those successful companies of later generations when they were still weak.

At this time, Ni Guangnan sighed and said:

”Although the structure of the large and small cores you proposed is very delicate, it can be said to meet both the present and the strategic goal of replacing the Weisoft system with the Hantang system in the future.

But if you really want to develop it, it won’t happen in a short time. Although you and I will appear on the stage, but relying on our masters and apprentices plus those more than a hundred people is still somewhat powerful. We have too few people. . ”

”Teacher, don’t worry, I will cooperate with many domestic and even foreign headhunting companies next.

I will increase the attractiveness of recruiting talents and attract those chip design talents. ”

Hearing Lin Xuan’s words, Ni Guangnan nodded slightly, and then said with emotion:

”Then I will wait and see.”

Following this passage, Lin Xuan and Ni Guangnan talked about many things about the Hantang Research Institute.

…

However, when Ni Guangnan and Lin Xuan were discussing many matters of the Hantang Research Institute, the president’s office of Intel Corporation received an invitation letter as far away as the Silicon Valley of Medi Country.

”Lin Xuan offered me to negotiate the authorization of the X86 instruction set in Daxia Magic City?!”

Paul Odes looked at the business negotiation invitation letter sent by Hantang Technology, he was stunned.

…

June 4, 2005.

At this time, a group of foreigners in suits and leather shoes walked slowly in the airport of Shanghai.

The foreigner who is the head of this line of foreigners is wearing thick sunglasses, and he can see that there are several men in suits and leather shoes beside him.

From this, it can be seen that these people are not simple, they must be high-level executives of some large companies.

But there are not many teams like them at this time, so they are not inconspicuous.

But soon, as they came to the exit of the airport, they successfully aroused people’s exclamation.

Because at this time they were staying at the exit, in front of a card that read ”Welcome Mr. Paul Olds, President of Intel.”

Witnessing this situation, many people who understand English saw them staying there and talking to the men holding the sign.

It was only then that people realized that this group of foreigners belonged to Intel Corporation, and the leader of the foreigners turned out to be Intel’s president, Paul Olds!

People at the scene are no strangers to Intel Corporation, after all, Intel Corporation has frequently appeared in the media or newspapers recently.

Intel’s popularity can be said to be due to the help of Hantang Technology, and it has suddenly reached the level of national fame, and its popularity is comparable to Hantang Technology!

However, what they didn’t notice was that a man wearing a sun hat filmed this scene.

He is a reporter, a reporter for the local Shanghai Times.

Today he heard some news that a certain star would take a plane to visit Shanghai. When he was bored to see if he could find the star.

In the end, he encountered the scene in front of him, so there was an astonishing light in his eyes at this time. This is big news.

The president of Intel, Paul Odess, came to Mordor. Although he didn’t know what Paul Odess’ purpose was, he felt that this must be big news!

So following Paul Olds and those people in the car and leaving, the reporter also followed the team without stopping and headed straight for the hotel.

…

”Come, sit down, please.”

In a VIP business room, Lin Xuan slowly stretched out his hand and pointed to the seat next to him.

In response to this, Paul Olds sat down opposite Lin Xuan unceremoniously, with infinite confidence on his face.

At this time, both sides were followed by a secretary and someone who looked like a lawyer. It could be seen that both sides came prepared.

At this time, as Paul Olds came to the scene, the door was slowly opened after a light knock on the outside, and then a plate of dishes came in.

”Eat first or negotiate first?”

Looking at Paul Olds in front of him and seeing that all the dishes had been prepared, Lin Xuan asked softly.

”Let’s negotiate first.”

This Paul Olds doesn’t seem to be hungry, but thinks about negotiating first.

At this time, he was looking up at Lin Xuan with his head up and squinting and said with a smile:

”I didn’t expect that you would beg me, this really flatters me, hahaha...”

Looking at Paul Odes who was smiling triumphantly, Lin Xuan kept his expression on his face, and he said slowly:

”Since the negotiation, let the two sides offer chips. We are willing to pay 100 million US dollars to purchase your X86 instruction set agency authorization.”

”Do you think this is sending beggars away?

Will Intel lack the $100 million? My Intel revenue last year was 34.2 billion U.S. dollars. Do you think we are short of this 100 million U.S. dollars? ”

Speaking of which, Paul Olds looked at Lin Xuan with contempt.

At this time, he looked at Lin Xuan as if he were looking at a beggar, with deep disdain in his eyes.

Just $100 million is enough to get Intel’s X86 instruction set.

”$300 million!”

Lin Xuan tripled his chips in one breath, and then looked at Paul Odes calmly.

Although it has paid 300 million U.S. dollars, it is equivalent to using 2.1 billion Xia Yuan to purchase the authorization of the X86 instruction set.

But as long as Hantang Technology can obtain the production authorization of the X86 instruction set, it will get the ticket to enter the computer CPU processor market.

Then Hantang Technology will be able to launch its own processor without any hindrance, and then return it back with interest!

”Hehe, hahaha...”

Hearing that Lin Xuan was willing to give 300 million US dollars to purchase the production authorization of the X86 instruction set, Paul Olds couldn’t help but burst out laughing, smiling very proudly.

After a long time, he seemed to have finally had enough laughs, and he said with contempt on his face:

”Are you sending beggars?”

Hearing Paul Odes repeat his mocking words again, Lin Xuan couldn’t help showing a trace of sullenness on his face, and Lin Xuan asked with a cold face:

”What do you Intel want?”

Paul Olds’s mouth curled into a smug smile, and then slowly revealed Intel’s fangs:

”What we want is very simple. We Intel wants the ownership of the WIPI wireless LAN patent.”

When Lin Xuan’s secretary Chen He heard what Intel Paul Odes said, he suddenly became furious:

”Don’t push yourself too far!”

”Chen He.”

Looking at the furious Chen He, Lin Xuan waved his hands.

Seeing this, Chen He immediately closed his mouth, but his eyes looked angrily at Paul Odes, who opened his mouth wide.

Lin Xuan turned his head and looked at Paul Odes, who faced Chen He’s anger at this time, but showed a proud expression on his face. Lin Xuan said slowly:

”There is no possibility of negotiation on the ownership of WIPI wireless LAN, but I can give you the permanent free right to use the existing patents of Intel WIPI wireless LAN.

You Intel can use the patents related to WIPI wireless LAN that we now have for free. ”

”Boss, the benefits conceded in this way are too great.”

Hearing that Lin Xuan was willing to give the WIPI wireless LAN patent the right to use for free in order to obtain the authorization to use the X86 instruction set architecture, Chen He immediately became anxious.

The revenue of WIPI wireless LAN is not low. Once Lin Xuan really allows Intel to use the related patents of WIPI wireless LAN for free.

The final patent fee loss of Hantang Technology may reach billions or even billions of dollars!

Of course, these billions or even tens of dollars are the total amount of patent fees in the next few decades, not the total amount of lost funds now.

Now if Intel obtains the permanent free right to use the patents related to WIPI wireless LAN, it will only save tens of millions of dollars within this year.

In this case, as Intel launches more WIPI wireless LAN devices, Hantang Technology will eventually lose more patent fees.

If Intel does not use the patents related to WIPI wireless LAN, then Hantang Technology’s patent loss will naturally be zero.

However, what Chen He regarded as a treasure, Paul Odess, was regarded as rubbish. He shook his head slightly, then raised his head and looked at Lin Xuan sarcastically:

”Do you think our Intel is a beggar?!”

Listening to Paul Olds uttering this sentence for the third time, Lin Xuan could no longer suppress his anger, so he stood up and said:

”Since this is the case, there is nothing to talk about.”

Hearing Lin Xuan’s slightly angry words, Paul Odess not only didn’t feel hesitant at this time, but instead smiled triumphantly:

”Hahaha, Mr. Lin, I can tell you clearly!

Unless you take out the patent ownership of wireless optical communication technology or the patent ownership of WIPI wireless local area network!

Otherwise, Intel will never allow you to master the production authorization of the x86 instruction set, and you will never be allowed to produce chips with the x86 instruction set. I guarantee this! ”

Speaking of this, Paul Odess raised his head and looked at Lin Xuan with arrogance in his eyes.

At this moment, he looked at Lin Xuan as if he was looking at a bird in a cage. It was a look with a certain chance of winning!

”Whether it can be produced is not up to your Intel company!”

Faced with the threat of Paul Olds, Lin Xuan did not despair, but turned back without showing any weakness.

”Ah.”

Facing Lin Xuan’s words, Paul Odes just laughed, expressing his contempt.

Just such a negotiation broke up unhappy.

At this time, neither of them moved the food on the table, but because Lin Xuan left first, the final checkout was naturally borne by Intel.

Soon Paul Olds found out that he was N, and their Intel turned out to be the one paying the bill.

Because Lin Xuan left out of anger, the result was that he didn’t pay the bill, and the one who finally paid the bill could only be Intel, which left last.

For this reason, Paul Olds could only return to the private room with a grim face.

The negotiation ended without a problem, and it cost him nearly a day to travel tens of thousands of kilometers back and forth, not to mention that Intel had to settle the bill in the end.

Paul Olds’ complexion became even more stinky, and he hated Lin Xuan even more in his heart.
