Technological Empire Starts From Shanzhai System

Chapter 283: virtual machine
Chapter 283 Virtual Machine

Facing those projected sights, Hu Zhixin said slowly at this time:

”This time Hantang Technology could not get the support of Weiruan system, although it seems to be a good thing for us Longxin Xiake.

With the support of Hantang Technology, a powerful company, it is a good thing for us to work together with Hantang Technology to maintain the domestic Hantang instruction set.

But this is the misfortune of our domestic CPU in Daxia, because there is no support from Weisoft system.

We cannot use various stand-alone games, online games and various application software on the Weisoft system, which is destined to be a niche processor by nature. ”

Speaking of this, Hu Zhixin sighed deeply, he was inexplicably sad for what happened to Hantang Technology.

Spent 100 million U.S. dollars but bought a loneliness, I have to say Weisoft’s behavior.

Successfully interrupted Hantang Technology’s dream of developing a general-purpose processor to replace domestic CPUs.

Of course, this dream is also the dream of all the researchers who work hard for this, and it is also the dream of his Hu Zhixin.

As Hu Zhixin’s words fell to the ground, people fell silent, with a hint of sadness in their eyes.

At this time, a senior executive who was a bit older and looked like a greasy middle-aged asked slowly:

”Mr. Hu, Hantang Technology wants to directly buy out the follow-up patent fees for the computer instruction set that we developed in a year. What should we do?”

Hearing this, other people turned their attention to Hu Zhixin, the head of Longxin Xiake, wanting to see what he thinks about this matter.

”Sell them at a low price, anyway, because of the agreement we signed at the beginning.

They can directly and automatically obtain the authorization for the use, adaptation and production of the computer instruction set developed by us based on the Han and Tang instruction sets.

Now they just don’t want to continue to pay patent fees in the future, and they don’t want to buy the ownership of our computer instruction set developed.

Moreover, Hantang Technology acquired our computer instruction set, which is also good for us.

If Hantang Technology uses the computer instruction set developed by us, it will also allow the computer instruction set we developed to enter the market with the power of Hantang Technology.

In the end, we will realize our dream of replacing domestic chips in a different way.

After all, Hantang Technology is stronger than us, and they also have a Hantang operating system.

If we are not satisfied with Hantang Technology, then they can completely develop a new computer instruction set, thus completely abandoning us.

Without the support of Hantang computer system and software level, the processor we developed is just a useless joke.

Daxia processor wants to surpass Intel, and wants to fight against the X86 system with Intel and Weiruan as its core.

Then we must maintain a consistent attitude in the field of processors. We cannot waste our scientific research efforts to develop two processors with completely different instructions, which will disperse our strength! ”

Regarding this, the greasy middle-aged senior frowned slightly, and he said hesitantly:

”But after all, this is a computer instruction set that we have spent a lot of effort and spent nearly a year developing.

Sell it to them at such a low price, and it is still in the form of buying out subsequent patent fees...

Really did this, and we will no longer be able to receive follow-up patent fees from them in the future. Thinking of future benefits, this is indeed a bit heartbreaking. ”

”Why not? Don’t forget our purpose, don’t forget what our mission of establishing Longxin Charco is!”

Compared to the greasy middle-aged executive who cares about profits, Hu Zhixin is obviously more generous, and he is more aware of what they want and what their purpose is.

Regarding this, other people in the company also nodded, although it took them a year to develop it.

But as long as Daxia can realize its dream of replacing domestic CPUs, it doesn’t matter if it can’t receive subsequent patent fees from Hantang Technology.

And after all, they are the owners of this research result, which is equivalent to Intel who holds the X86 instruction set patent in the X86 system.

With their ownership of the new computer instruction set developed based on the Han and Tang instruction sets, they will always sit firmly on the Diaoyutai.

Of course that is the case, Hantang Technology may not fully adopt the computer Hantang instruction set they developed in a year.

Instead, it is very likely that they will only select some of the computer instructions they need, and then develop the corresponding computer instructions by themselves, and finally gather them together to form a brand new computer instruction set!

Once this is done, the new computer instruction set launched by Longxin Xiake Company in the future of Hantang Technology.

Because the proportion may only be more than half or even a small half, Longxin Shaco will not become the Intel company in the X86 instruction set system.

So no one knows what the future result will be, and no one can guess how many Longxin Charco computer instructions Hantang Technology will use.

The people of Longxin Xiake can only entrust their fate to Hantang Technology and wait for the result of fate.

But no matter what, once the cooperation between the two parties is really achieved, then Longxin Charco will also ascend to heaven because of it!

At that time, even if they couldn’t become Intel, it could be because Hantang Technology’s processor partially adopted some of their computer instructions.

At that time, we will definitely be able to obtain the production authorization of Hantang Technology to launch a new computer instruction set.

In the end, they can become the second company in the world that can produce Hantang processors, becoming the Daxia version of A.M.D company!

This is how one person achieves the Tao and ascends to heaven!

...

”Boss, this is the situation.”

At this time, Chen He was reporting to Lin Xuan the actions of Intel and Weiruan during this period.

In addition, it also reported the views and actions of many companies at home and abroad during this period.

”Da da da da da...”

As Chen He finished his report, Lin Xuan tapped his fingers on the table lightly, seemingly lost in thought.

After a long time, Lin Xuan finally made a move, and he slowly said:

”Since the Weiruan system can’t accommodate us, then we will give up the Weiruan system directly from now on!

Directly develop the Hantang operating system with our own Hantang processor as the core, so that the processor and the system can be perfectly compatible and maximize the performance. ”

Hearing that Lin Xuan had completely abandoned the Weiruan system, Chen He frowned slightly and asked his confusion:

”But wouldn’t it be impossible to use software with the X86 instruction set?”

During this period of time, Chen He also crammed a lot of knowledge about processors and computer systems.

He knew that he wanted to use their processor to play online games on the Weiruan system, such as Legend, Zhengtu, Moshou World, Dream East... and other online games.

Then the Weiruan system must be used. In this case, Lin Xuan resolutely and completely gave up the Weiruan system.

After that, wouldn’t it be possible to play Legendary, Zhengtu, Moshou World, Fantasy Eastward Journey... and other online games and many stand-alone games, have you given up many software in the Weiruan system?

However, Chen He’s very confused question was just a trivial matter to Lin Xuan. Lin Xuan said with a smile:

”Don’t forget that we are currently developing the X86 instruction set small core of the processor.

We can develop an X86 virtual machine in our Hantang operating system, which is directly compatible with software and games running on the X86 system in the form of a virtual machine. ”

Lin Xuan slowly stated his plan, which instantly caught Chen He’s eyes.

At this time, Chen He didn’t know that the routine played by Lin Xuan was actually a routine played by Later Shiguo for a technology company!

Hou Shi Guowei encountered a problem when developing a mobile phone operating system.

The problem is that the Hongmeng system is a brand new system, and there are no game software on it.

Without various games and software, this system will definitely not be recognized and used by consumers.

No consumer will use this Hongmeng system, even if Guowei Technology’s mobile phone is forcibly installed with Hongmeng system.

But because I can’t use various games and software, I was eventually flashed back to the Android system.

Of course, the bigger possibility is that consumers will directly give up Guowei Technology’s mobile phones because of this situation.

As a brand new system, we want to break this unfavorable situation and complete the mission of replacing foreign mobile phone systems with domestic mobile phone systems.

The Hongmeng system must have all kinds of popular games and software on its mobile phone system. In this case, the Hongmeng system has naturally moved its mind.

Since I don’t have games and software, why don’t I just use someone else’s?

First solve the problem of existence and non-existence, and then things will naturally be discussed separately.

So Guowei Technology Company successfully enabled its Hongmeng system to use games and software on the Android system in the form of a virtual machine!

It can be said that through this method, Guowei Technology Company has successfully reversed the situation that the Hongmeng system was doomed to be used by no one.

In the end, Hongmeng system relied on this strategy, coupled with their strong appeal and the huge number of mobile phones already sold, successfully made their installed capacity of Hongmeng system reach 300 million units!

With the installed capacity of 300 million Hongmeng systems, will there be companies that specialize in the development of software and applications for the Hongmeng system?

Needless to say!

The installed capacity of 300 million Hongmeng systems is the best advertisement and the best bargaining chip.

Afterwards, the ending is naturally as expected, Hongmeng system relies on the installed capacity of 300 million units.

After that, there were indeed many domestic and foreign game companies and even software companies that specially developed software and games for the Hongmeng system version.

It can be said that Hongmeng system has successfully reversed the unfavorable situation by relying on the virtual machine to directly run Android games and software, making its own system the third largest operating system in the world!

Of course, although this method is good, it also has limitations and shortcomings. After all, software and games are run in the form of second-hand simulations such as virtual machines.

There will definitely be bugs and incompatibility, and because it is in the form of second-hand simulation, part of the processor performance will definitely be lost for virtual machines.

Of course, it is difficult to estimate how much performance will be lost, because different programs, different games, and those companies must have different software development, which cannot be counted at all.

But in any case, there will definitely be a corresponding performance loss, which is an inevitable problem.

After all, it is necessary to run a virtual machine program, and how can there be no performance loss if it needs to be run second-hand through the virtual machine.

And Lin Xuan obviously also used this virtual machine routine, but the difference between Lin Xuan and Hongmeng system is that Lin Xuan directly implements the virtual machine on the hardware level.

The Hongmeng system is mainly implemented on software, because it is implemented through software.

The performance loss of the processor will be even greater, while the performance loss of Lin Xuan’s virtual machine formed on the hardware is relatively small, but the development cost of the hardware virtual machine is relatively high.
