Devouring Evolution: Devouring Nuclear Bombs at the Start

135: Chapter 135 Astral Miniaturization DeviceWatching their compatriots being blown to bits, the Dinosaur People inside the warships didn’t react at all.

The laws of the Dinosaur Civilization specifically mentioned this situation: when fighting an enemy, the primary objective is to eliminate the enemy, and the lives of one’s own kind can be temporarily ignored.

Ignoring their compatriots who had turned to ash, several ”tyrannosaurus rex-class” warships changed direction and locked onto Lin Sheng again.

From these two probing attacks, Lin Sheng had already made a general judgment of the current situation.

He could not fight these warships head-on.

With the Dinosaur Civilization’s values of not caring about their own kind’s lives at all, a frontal battle would only turn Lin Sheng into a sitting duck.

Sensing danger approaching again, Lin Sheng quickly left the area he was in.

”...”

After one of their bombs was devoured by Lin Sheng, the Dinosaur People began detonating them manually. Lin Sheng had no way to devour them now.

While dodging the warships’ bombardment, Lin Sheng thought about how to deal with these troublesome ”evolution points.”

With a flash, Lin Sheng appeared on the ”exterior” of one of the warships surrounding him.

This method of jumping had no wind-up, giving the dinosaurs no chance to react.

Lin Sheng’s mouth was wide open; for this jump, he had specifically reserved a space in his mouth and throat.

The warship he targeted was now stuck in his throat.

*Gulp.*

The Tentacles in his mouth writhed. The warship stuck in his throat couldn’t react and was swallowed directly by Lin Sheng.

”Not bad.”

After receiving the feedback that the evolution points had been credited, Lin Sheng nodded inwardly with satisfaction.

He originally wanted to leave a space for the dinosaurs in his abdomen, but due to the influence of ”Devour,” Lin Sheng’s abdominal structure was special and couldn’t accommodate a space.

Therefore, he left that space in his throat.

The effect was quite good, directly taking out one of the Dinosaur Civilization’s battleships.

...

While Lin Sheng was entangled with several ”tyrannosaurus rex-class” battleships, the Matriarch had already arrived near the battlefield aboard a ”quetzalcoatlus-class” battleship.

Watching Lin Sheng pull back and forth with the warships, the expression on the Matriarch’s dragon face changed directly from anger to greed.

Having evolved to this point, Lin Sheng’s appearance had become very strange.

A cybernetic dragon body where metal and flesh overlapped would make most technological civilizations feel uncomfortable.

But the Dinosaur Civilization was different.

Lin Sheng’s appearance still bore a slight resemblance to a dinosaur. Compared to a normal dinosaur, Lin Sheng was like an artistically enhanced ”Cyber Dinosaur Pro Max.”

His appearance could be said to perfectly hit the aesthetic marks of the Dinosaur Civilization; it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to call him the ”Dinosaur Daniel Wu.”

Staring at Lin Sheng’s ”heroic posture” during battle, the Matriarch’s body began to tremble slightly involuntarily.

*Heavy breathing.*

Heavy gasps came from its mouth. The Matriarch turned to look at a nearby technician and suddenly asked a question completely unrelated to the current situation:

”I remember the astral miniature device can already be used on living organisms, right?”

Hearing this, although the researcher was confused, he still answered honestly:

”Your memory is correct. The astral miniature device can be used on living things, and there are no side effects for the miniaturized organisms.”

Having obtained the desired answer, the Matriarch could no longer suppress the restlessness in its heart.

It extended a claw and pointed at Lin Sheng, who was fighting the warship fleet on the screen, and ordered the soldiers under its command:

”All units, listen up! Capture the intruder alive. I don’t want the intruder to suffer any damage!”

Having said that, the Matriarch was like a big child about to get a new toy; the trembling of its body and its heavy breathing never stopped.

Since its debut, the Dinosaur Civilization had always been invincible, and the Matriarch was very confident in its subordinates’ combat power.

At the thought of being able to mate with a creature of this appearance, the Matriarch couldn’t suppress the restlessness in its heart.

”You... come here.”

After writhing on the seat for a while, the Matriarch seemed to have lost its strength.

It beckoned with a finger, and a tall Dinosaur Person behind it immediately came to its side.

After devouring a ”velociraptor-class” battleship, Lin Sheng suddenly noticed that the warships besieging him had disappeared at some point.

Ripples appeared in the surrounding space, and ferocious dragon-shaped mechas appeared where the warships had been, surrounding Lin Sheng.

These mechas varied in size; the smallest was only a dozen meters long, while the largest was hundreds of meters from head to tail.

Looking at the mechas that suddenly appeared, Lin Sheng was curious as well as cautious.

He had been wondering why the Dinosaur Civilization, having developed to this extent, would still fight a war of attrition with him.

Logically, after the first wave of warships failed, they should have used long-range strikes, right?

But now, not only were they not using long-range strikes, they were even using more Low Level mechas to fight him.

What exactly was their commander thinking?

Lin Sheng was very confused.

”Do you know why the Dinosaur Civilization is doing this?”

Taking advantage of the fact that the mechas hadn’t attacked yet, Lin Sheng took a moment to ask the Light Lord.

The Light Lord had been monitoring the Milky Way Galaxy; it would surely know the purpose of the Dinosaur Civilization sending mechas.

”Their Matriarch wants to capture you alive.”

As soon as Lin Sheng finished speaking, the Light Lord’s voice rang in his ear.

”The Matriarch wants to capture me alive? Why?”

Lin Sheng was puzzled.

Lin Sheng had seen the Matriarch of the Dinosaur Civilization before, but he didn’t understand why she would suggest capturing him alive.

He hadn’t even formally met this Matriarch yet, had he?

”Uh...”

The Light Lord hesitated for a moment but still answered Lin Sheng’s question.

”She wants to mate with you.”

Lin Sheng: !

...

While Lin Sheng was communicating with the Light Lord, the mechas surrounding him also began to move.

Catching a glimpse of this, Lin Sheng flashed and appeared in front of the mechas.

*Bang!*

He slammed his right front claw down, and the powerful impact sent a large number of mechas flying.

But to Lin Sheng’s surprise, the mechas he hit only flew away, with no signs of damage on their surfaces.

After stabilizing themselves, the mechas regained their form and jumped back to Lin Sheng’s side.

*Bang! Bang! Bang!*

Thousands of mechas surrounded Lin Sheng. They either whipped him with their tails or rammed him with their heads. When the attacks landed on Lin Sheng, he actually felt a hint of pain.

Realizing this, Lin Sheng grabbed one of the mechas while devouring them.
