Devouring Evolution: Devouring Nuclear Bombs at the Start

117: Chapter 117 The Starbreakers StrikesAfter the Bone Stripper was driven back to the Black Belt by the Origin Star people, Lin Sheng also withdrew his consciousness.

He entered a deep sleep once again.

Although Lin Sheng felt curious about the Bone Stripper’s behavior, he wouldn’t go out of his way to investigate unless necessary.

Regardless, both the Bone Stripper and the Origin Star people were targets Lin Sheng needed to kill; if they fought each other, Lin Sheng would be the one to profit in the end.

[Host Evolution complete]

”System, open the Data Panel.”

Lin Sheng issued the command to the system.

「Host: Lin Sheng

Body Length: 51,052 meters

evolution points: 5 trillion

Talents:

...

Flesh Parasitism (Balance Grade/Truth?)

...

Third Person View (Natural Grade): You can use your consciousness to view the world through a third-party perspective.

...

Description: Omitted」

As Lin Sheng’s body size increased, the grade of the ”Flesh Parasitism” talent had also reached ”Balance Grade/Truth?”.

Looking at the newly acquired talent on the panel, Lin Sheng’s mind stirred.

His perspective shifted accordingly.

This perspective was like playing Minecraft and suddenly turning on the Third Person View view.

Lin Sheng’s current feeling was somewhat similar to using a ”God’s eye view” to see his surroundings, but compared to a true God’s eye view, this Third Person View vision was a bit lacking.

Its coverage wasn’t as wide as a God’s eye view; the field of vision was only 180 degrees.

However, through ”Third Person View,” Lin Sheng could clearly see his own body, as well as situations around him that were undetectable by the naked eye.

Lin Sheng used ”Third Person View” to observe his surroundings; overall, while this talent was somewhat underwhelming, it still had its uses.

”System, how many evolution points are required to evolve ’Third Person View’ to ’Balance Grade’?”

Looking at the grade following ”Third Person View,” Lin Sheng suddenly had a hunch.

He felt that after evolving to ”Balance Grade,” ”Third Person View” might just become a ”God’s eye view.”

[Ding]

[Requires 2.75 trillion evolution points]

”That’s quite a lot.”

Lin Sheng thought for a while and ultimately chose not to evolve it yet.

The evolution points required were a bit high, and the remaining points wouldn’t be enough to support his upcoming operations.

Lin Sheng planned to save up more evolution points during the next phase of combat before undergoing a major Evolution.

Thinking of this, Lin Sheng stood up.

His limbs braced against the Ground, his mouth opened wide, and a ”star shatterer” emerged from it.

Previously, when leaving Origin Star, the Supreme Commander there had used five ”star shatterers” against Lin Sheng, but Lin Sheng had anticipated this and captured all five of them directly.

Now that Lin Sheng intended to start moving against the Origin Star people, these five ”star shatterers” had to be put to use.

...

The ”star shatterer” launched by Lin Sheng flew rapidly at low altitude over Eighteen Stars, meeting no resistance at first.

However, as the ”star shatterer” came face-to-face with an Origin Star warship, the Origin Star people quickly reported this mysteriously appearing ”star shatterer” to their superiors.

...

”What is the serial number of that ’star shatterer’?”

Hearing the emergency report from his subordinate, the Chief asked with a frown.

Every ”star shatterer” had a serial number engraved on its tail when it left the factory, which was to facilitate identifying its origin in special circumstances.

”The serial number of that ’star shatterer’ is...”

At this point, the reporting personnel took a deep breath.

”#11.”

”What?!”

The Leader knew very well what ”#11” represented.

The nine ”star shatterers” from #07 to #15 were the ones they had left on Origin Star for emergencies.

But now, this ”star shatterer” that should have disappeared along with Origin Star had actually appeared here; the implications were terrifying to contemplate.

”Can you predict the impact point of that ’star shatterer’?”

The Chief’s mood was already bad, but the subordinate’s next answer sent it straight to a peak of dread.

”According to the analysis, the impact point of #11 is Energy Mountain (South Pole Mountain).”

”What!”

”Intercept it immediately!”

Hearing this, the Chief instantly opened the general communication channel. While instructing the subordinate beside him, he repeated the order to everyone else over the channel.

Although South Pole Mountain had been attacked by the Bone Stripper, the energy acquisition efficiency there was much higher than directly absorbing Stellar Energy.

The Origin Star people had already given up on the idea of making a home on Eighteen Stars—at least, they didn’t plan to settle there until the Bone Stripper was dealt with.

But there was still an Origin Star energy factory at South Pole Mountain, with many Origin Star people still working there.

Once the ”star shatterer” exploded there, the Origin Star people would inevitably suffer heavy losses.

”Reporting to the Chief, it’s too late!”

”#11 has already reached the outskirts of Energy Mountain; its explosive power is enough to affect the energy factory.”

”Currently, we can only evacuate our compatriots from the energy factory; we cannot achieve a zero-damage interception of #11.”

”Then evacuate!”

The Chief didn’t hesitate for a second and directly issued the evacuation order.

There weren’t many of their Origin Star people left now; compared to an energy factory, their kin were obviously more precious.

”Understood!”

...

During his Evolution, Lin Sheng had been scouting the locations of the Origin Star people’s important facilities; the destination for the ”star shatterer” this time was an important energy factory of theirs at South Pole Mountain.

By destroying that energy factory, the Origin Star people’s energy acquisition efficiency would surely plummet.

Furthermore, after the factory was destroyed, South Pole Mountain would be blown to pieces; this way, Lin Sheng could devour the black stones of South Pole Mountain more easily.

Previously, he had always been digging for black stones manually; after the ”star shatterer” exploded, Lin Sheng would only need to pick up the black stones at the foot of the mountain.

Through the detection equipment mounted on the ”star shatterer,” Lin Sheng, far away in the Black Belt, could clearly see the scene at South Pole Mountain.

He saw a large amount of engineering machinery hovering over the peak of South Pole Mountain; these machines were all connected to transparent pipes, which in turn connected to other machinery below.

The machinery below was for collecting black stones, the pipes were for transport, and the machinery above was for extracting energy from the black stones to be used for the fleet’s daily consumption.

Lin Sheng used the biological radar on the ”star shatterer” to scan the area and found that the energy factory was already deserted.

Lin Sheng had originally intended to take out a bunch of Origin Star people with this strike, but their decisiveness was somewhat beyond his expectations.

However, Lin Sheng didn’t care about these details; he directly controlled the ”star shatterer” to crash into the peak of South Pole Mountain.

”BOOM!”
