Devouring Evolution: Devouring Nuclear Bombs at the Start

121: Chapter 121 Mutual AttackAfter Ting’s death, that fleet of his began a retaliatory strike against Lin Sheng.

However, with the captain dead, the fleet had lost its command; fueled by rage, they were no different from lambs to the slaughter.

By the time a few people in the fleet realized what was happening, there were very few warships left around them.

Lin Sheng glanced at his evolution points balance.

41.7 trillion

After devouring the remaining few warships, it would be close to 45 trillion.

Even though only a few warships remained in the field, the Origin Star people inside them did not flee.

Their hearts were already dead; even if they successfully escaped this time, they would inevitably live in the shadows afterward.

Rather than that, it was better to die on the battlefield.

That way, at least they could find some peace of mind.

...

This fleet directly brought Lin Sheng a massive harvest of evolution points; devouring warships was much faster than the speed at which he gained evolution points from devouring Black Stones.

With sufficient evolution points, Lin Sheng also began planning a general offensive against the Origin Star people.

Without dealing with the Origin Star people, he couldn’t even eat a meal (devouring Black Stones) in peace.

After thinking for a moment, Lin Sheng decided to take the initiative and attack.

With ample evolution points, Lin Sheng had almost no weaknesses; taking the initiative would also give him a broader space to operate.

Using ”Omniscience” to simulate the battle in his mind, and feeling it was about ready, Lin Sheng stood up, left a piece of body tissue on South Pole Mountain, and departed.

...

The Northern Hemisphere of Eighteen Stars.

At this moment, a sense of oppression enveloped the region.

The Origin Star people had already aimed the muzzles of their warships at the Ground; once Lin Sheng appeared, these warships would immediately open fire on him.

While the Origin Star people were waiting, four small warships, about 1000 in length, suddenly flew in from the distant starry sky.

Seeing these four suddenly appearing warships, the Origin Star people immediately turned their muzzles to intercept them.

If these four ”star shatterers” were allowed to explode in front of them, they would lose at least 2/3 of their combat power.

”Hum!”

Under the interception of the Origin Star people, the four ”star shatterers” exploded almost simultaneously.

The shockwave of the explosion temporarily cut off the Origin Star people’s communication system; taking advantage of this opportunity, Lin Sheng had already crept up behind them.

By the time the Origin Star people’s communication system was restored, Lin Sheng had already caused a small-scale disturbance in the outer circle.

When devouring the warships this time, Lin Sheng chose to leave the weapons systems on the ships.

Although this would slightly reduce the evolution points obtained, compared to the weapons acquired, those reduced evolution points were nothing.

”I am the Supreme Commander.”

”I order that the use of any weapons is permitted in this war!”

”Repeat, the use of any weapons is permitted in this war!”

Watching Lin Sheng run rampant among the fleet while the warships were helpless against him, the Chief closed his eyes and issued this painful order.

Without restrictions on weapon usage, large-scale friendly fire incidents would inevitably occur.

But if they didn’t do this, other weapons with weaker power simply wouldn’t work against Lin Sheng.

Just then, a mechanical voice that made everyone present’s hair stand on end suddenly emerged from the command center.

”Found you!”

In fact, when Lin Sheng arrived at the battlefield, he had already known the location of the command center through ”Omniscience.”

Saying that just now was merely out of a mischievous desire to scare the Origin Star people.

The Origin Star people’s command center was not inside the largest battleship, but was instead set within an inconspicuous small battleship.

That battleship was very unremarkable; if one were to launch an attack on this massive fleet, that inconspicuous ship would definitely be overlooked.

But Lin Sheng possessed ”Omniscience”; he could easily know the specific location of the Origin Star people’s command center.

The target of the previous four ”star shatterers” was also the command center, but they were discovered too early by the Origin Star people and were detonated directly in the distance.

...

Countless nano-flyers flew out of Lin Sheng’s body; these flyers carried special substances and flew toward the warships in all directions.

When fighting Lin Sheng, the Origin Star people simply had no time to worry about these flyers, and by the time they realized, it was too late.

Upon discovering they had lost control of the warships, the Origin Star people lost their greatest reliance against Lin Sheng.

Helplessness and despair instantly turned into a haze, shrouding their hearts.

At the same time, the warships controlled by Lin Sheng turned their muzzles one after another, launching indiscriminate attacks on their surrounding compatriots.

Compared to the Origin Star people’s cautiousness—where even after lifting weapon restrictions, they were unwilling for friendly fire to occur—the warships under Lin Sheng’s control didn’t care about such things.

They were like death soldiers under Lin Sheng’s command, recklessly unleashing firepower upon their surrounding compatriots.

The Origin Star people inside those warships, upon seeing this scene, closed their eyes in pain, only wishing they could be shot down by their compatriots sooner.

”Open the master controller.”

The Chief in the command center had already noticed the situation over there.

The command center held the ’life gate’ of all warships.

Although the life gate couldn’t control the operation of the warships, it could directly destroy any warship it wanted to.

To put it simply, this ”life gate” was the warships’ self-destruct program.

Furthermore, this self-destruct program came from the command center; even if Lin Sheng controlled the warships, he could not control this life gate.

”Goodbye, warriors.”

With those words, the Chief unhesitatingly pressed the life gates of those few warships.

The Origin Star people inside the warships also showed a look of relief at this moment.

”I didn’t expect you to have such a trick up your sleeve.”

At this time, Lin Sheng’s voice once again connected to the command center’s communication channel.

Hearing this mechanical voice, the Chief was instantly startled.

In the emergency just now, it had actually forgotten that this monster was capable of controlling warships.

If this monster were allowed to control the command center, wouldn’t the entire fleet be completely destroyed in an instant?

No!

”All units listen to my command: do not let any external physical matter near the command center!”

”Repeat, do not let any external physical matter near the command center!”

Just now, the command center’s technical staff had also analyzed the principle of Lin Sheng’s control over the warships; it was through some nano-scale flyers.

Although those nano-flyers were small, they were also easy to prevent.

A single shell could block them.

...

On the other side, even knowing the command center held the life gate of all warships, Lin Sheng had no intention of going over to directly control the command center, or rather, he had no intention of directly destroying these warships.

Because once a warship was destroyed by the command center, only some wreckage would remain, and sometimes not even wreckage would be left.

In that case, the evolution points Lin Sheng obtained would be greatly reduced, or he might even gain nothing.

Lin Sheng had calculated before that if he could swallow all the warships here, he could obtain at least over 1000 trillion evolution points.

However, once all these warships were detonated, whether he could even obtain 200 trillion evolution points was an unknown.

”Roar roar!”

Lin Sheng’s thoughts were spinning, and just at this moment, an electromagnetic wave completely out of place with the battlefield atmosphere suddenly entered the area.

A huge grey figure rushed out of Eighteen Stars and entered this battlefield.

The grey figure roared at Lin Sheng; although sound cannot travel in a vacuum, through ”Omniscience,” Lin Sheng still knew the meaning this grey figure wanted to express.

”I’ll help you hold them off for a while, you go recover your strength first.”

Lin Sheng instantly recognized the identity of this grey figure.

It was the Bone Stripper!

But clearly, the Bone Stripper did not recognize Lin Sheng.

Compared to their meeting on the moon, Lin Sheng’s changes could no longer be described as Evolution.

Even if Eighteen were to be resurrected on the spot, when facing Lin Sheng, he could only manage to say:

”Who are you, Iron Brother?”

...

”Roar roar! (Brother, I’ll leave this to you, I’m going to rest for a bit)”

Lin Sheng also roared back at the Bone Stripper, and regardless of whether the other party could understand, he directly took the opportunity to head to the edge of the battlefield to scavenge the warship wreckage there.

Although Lin Sheng wasn’t sure why the Bone Stripper suddenly appeared on the scene, both the Bone Stripper and the Origin Star people were his enemies; he was more than happy to see a scene of two enemies fighting each other.
