System vs Rebirth

Chapter 1538: All-Out Battle

”Fire and Ice Transformation!”

Both elements emerged from Noelʼs body. Because of the eruption, the elements became a bit unstable.

As a result, they were refusing to fuse inside his body, causing a conflict that would destroy Noelʼs body.

However, the flame suddenly slowed down, but it wasnʼt him controlling it. It was Ardagan.

Ardagan had suppressed his own flame so that the ice element could overwhelm his fire. Still, Ardagan ensured that his flame was solid enough to withstand the ice.

This might not be a complete fusion, but with the boost from the transformation, the power Noel could wield had just increased further.

Noel could feel that his power could finally reach the sky demon king. Of course, his condition would deteriorate after this, but as long as he could win this battle, he could somehow fix his body later.

The sky demon king noticed how powerful the element eruption was. If he werenʼt careful, he would definitely die.

Hence, the demon king used the power of the demons, the Berserk. Now that his power had gone berserk, the fluctuation of energy had become similar to Noel.

The sky demon king flapped its wings, sending forth a torrential wind toward Noel. The latter waved his sword.

Three Purity Swords.

Divine Slash.

He used the two most powerful sword techniques. The Three Purity Swords allowed him to slash three times in a single motion, each slash containing his Divine Slash.

It flew toward the torrential wind. Two of them sliced through the wind, albeit the wind also dispersed their power.

Still, one of them got through. It continued toward the sky demon king, but the latter grabbed it with both hands before shattering it.

”...” The sky demon king could finally feel Noelʼs power for the first time. Noelʼs strength had become equal to the power of his ancestor due to the transformation.

But it would be a different case if Noel used his True Spirit Body. In addition, he hadnʼt mastered this new transformation yet. If his flame and ice could fuse completely even during his transformation, his strength would have been stronger than his ancestorʼs.

The sky demon king finally found the reason the land demon king became so desperate.

”Now that I know this, you are going to die today.” The sky demon king flew toward Noel. The only way to stop Noel from becoming invincible was to kill him right away.

The conflict of elements would definitely hurt him. As long as he could withstand the power for a certain time, Noelʼs injury would worsen, and his chance would come.

There was another method he could try, but his power hadnʼt returned to its peak yet, so he couldnʼt do it yet.

So, pushing Noel past his limit and killing him was the best choice.

”Iʼm not going to go down so easily.” Noel smiled and leaped toward the sky demon king as a pair of ice wings and fire wings took him to the sky.

On the other side, Demon Saint Alexander punched forth. His attack was met with a single thrust.

Unfortunately, their attacks neutralized each other, knocking back their users.

Alexander snarled, ”A mere dog is now daring to play this game?”

”A mere dog? I am not a mere dog. Iʼm a hunting dog.” Conrad smiled. ”I should have done this a long time ago. If not for my oath, you would have died a long time ago.

”And now, you are not going to be an obstacle to the golden age of the kingdom.”

”Golden age? Do you mean puppet queen?” Alexander sneered, provoking Conrad.

”Say whatever you want, but you wonʼt be able to do anything here.” Conrad snorted.

Meanwhile, the elder released his power while Incetta released hers. Their powers collided, neutralizing each other.

”...” Incetta could see that her power couldnʼt do much against her current opponent. The elder became a spirit transcendence not much earlier than her. With Lilyʼs help, Incetta knew that if she wanted to determine a winner, it would take a very long time.

She had to wear down her opponent and find his weakness before being able to cut him down. The elder obviously planned to do the same thing.

Unlike other battles, theirs was quiet. There was not much talk or provocation. The elder didnʼt know much about Incetta and vice versa, so it was useless to provoke the other party.

The land demon king saw the development of the battle. He thought his plan was already perfect. As long as the three ancient demons could force Anna to remain in the north, they would have won. No matter what tricks Noel had, he couldnʼt escape the predicament.

However, his plan didnʼt work again. Even Anna didnʼt expect to find Dimitri and Milfa on their way back.

In fact, she hoped that the elders from the Beast Kingdom could help. As for the reinforcement coming from Luke Ardagan, she had expected it to a certain degree, especially when Raven joined them.

With Raven fetching Luke information in real time, it was easy to figure out the need for more people.

She thought Leysha would be here as well to make a ruckus or something.

Nevertheless, the development was much more favorable than her original plan.

”How many times have you lost? Today, you will suffer the same thing again. 10-0? Not a good score, donʼt you think?” Anna smirked.

”You…” The land demon king gritted his teeth. As the third prince, he didnʼt have many losses, but that was because he rarely went against Noel.

But ever since he joined the battle, he kept losing.

The land demon king leaped toward Anna as they exchanged blows.

Every time Anna swung her sword, the lightning sparked, shattering the ground and even destroying trees. On the other hand, the demon kingʼs energy was so powerful that it simply crushed everything around it with the sheer pressure alone.

However, they all knew that Noel might be able to fight the sky demon king, but his condition didnʼt allow him to hold on for long.

If they failed to turn around the situation before Noel collapsed, they would be the ones defeated.

Hence, Anna knew that she was the deciding factor.

ʼThereʼs no need to hold back anymore.ʼ Anna muttered inwardly before her body turned into lightning. ”Thunder Godʼs Possession, Second Form!”
