Chapter 1527: Anna’s Request

”A request?” Old Ru raised his eyebrows.

”Please tell us about your request. As long as we can do it, we will accept your request.” The Lion King was determined to help them, just like his predecessor.

Anna took a deep breath before asking, ”Do you have anything that can be used by a soul? Iʼm talking about circulation methods.”

”!!!” Old Ru didnʼt expect this request. ”What do you wish to do with this circulation method?”

”Iʼm going to use it on myself. Iʼm pretty sure that you know my condition from your grandson.”

”Ah!” Old Ru figured out what Anna planned to do.

ʼOi. Youʼre not talking about me, are you?ʼ The original Anna couldnʼt help but open her mouth. She had been staying in her sword, but even she didnʼt expect the request was related to her.

ʼIʼm talking about you, of course.ʼ Anna confirmed it without hesitation. ʼRight now, we are coming for the other piece of that jade. And probably, I will still be in possession of your body for a few years after this, at least until I give birth to Noelʼs child.

ʼSo, before that, Iʼm thinking about strengthening your soul as well. If we are able to get this jade of immortality and youʼre able to fight, we might be able to turn around the situation.

ʼNow that two demon kings and the supreme devil have been mentioned, we now know that we have three opponents.

ʼEven Noelʼs ancestor couldnʼt defeat both demon kings at the same time. So, Iʼm thinking about this solution.ʼ

The original Anna fell silent. She had been listening to everything, including Noelʼs lesson. So, of course, she could see the two possibilities Anna was thinking about.

ʼSo, you are aiming for us to be stronger than a normal demon king so that we can kill one as quickly as possible. This way, we can help Noel with the second target, while Noel takes care of the last one.

ʼOr the second possibility is to fight together, meaning we take care of one and a half each.ʼ

ʼYes. However, my aim is one step further than that.ʼ

The original Anna looked down, falling into deep thought. ʼWhat is this goal youʼre talking about?ʼ

ʼYou should know about Noelʼs current body, right? Because his body has now fused with Ardagan, he has become half spirit.

ʼIf you think about it, we are similar to him. However, instead of two bodies, we have two souls. It might not work if weʼre different people, but we both are Anna Stargaze. Weʼre the same, just from a different timeline. Iʼm still you, and youʼre still me.

ʼIf Noel can wield two elements and activate two True Spirit Body in succession, Iʼm thinking if we can activate our True Spirit Body one step further?ʼ

ʼAh!ʼ The original Anna didnʼt expect this possibility. Anna was actually suggesting they use the True Spirit Body with the power of two souls. ʼSo, thatʼs how it is.

ʼIf thereʼs a circulation method that can enhance the soul, we might be able to reinforce the link between our souls and use that synergy to activate the True Spirit Body with both of our souls.

ʼAnd to do that, we will need the Jade of Immortality as a medium.ʼ

ʼThere you have it.ʼ Anna confirmed her idea. Although she didnʼt know whether it was possible or not, she had to try.

This was the only way she could help Noel.

ʼTsk.ʼ The original Anna scratched the back of her head. ʼYou are occupying my body, and you are still demanding that I help you, the invader.

ʼHowever, itʼs not like I canʼt refuse your request either. If we end up dying here, I wonʼt be able to forgive myself for not doing anything.

ʼBut to do this, I will have to suffer as well. Because I donʼt have a human body anymore, it will place a much greater toll on me.ʼ

The original Anna complained, but her anger was understandable. Even so, Anna still asked her.

ʼLetʼs renew our agreement.ʼ The original Anna suggested, ʼI wish to switch places with you from time to time.

ʼOf course, during that time, I will not do anything to Noel. He will probably be able to see through me anyway, and I personally donʼt wish to ruin my own relationship. However, you donʼt mind if we become friends, right? I was indebted to him for changing me for the better.ʼ

ʼYes.ʼ

ʼAnyway, I want to switch with you from time to time to feel alive. I know I will have so much time even after you leave this body because this body has become a spirit king, but there are still some attachments left.

ʼI want to visit Dad, Mom, and Brother. I want to apologize to them for being a bad daughter and thank them for not giving up on me all this time… personally.ʼ

ʼI can agree to your demand.ʼ It was a reasonable demand from the original Anna, so Anna didnʼt intend to reject it.

The original Anna paused for a moment. ʼIʼm a kind of darkness of Anna Stargaze as a whole. You, on the other hand, changed a long time ago and began to walk on the path of light.

ʼEven though I believe I have changed a bit, Iʼm still the violent side of you. Thatʼs why I will take care of the violent lightning for you.ʼ

ʼThank you, Anna.ʼ

ʼYou are Anna too. Hmph.ʼ

Anna smiled and turned to Old Ru.

”It looks like you will need it. I donʼt know the exact reason, but my instinct is telling me to give it to you.” Old Ru turned to the Lion King before bowing his head. ”May I open that?”

”That?” The Lion King tilted his head in confusion.

”Yes. One of the Sealed Circulation Methods. Day and Night Circulation Method.”

”!!!” The Lion King widened his eyes. ”Thatʼs one of the forbidden circulation methods because it might cause the user to go berserk…”

”Yes, but it might be the most suitable circulation method for Miss Anna Stargaze.”
