Global Lords: Me and My Calabash Kiddos

Chapter 73: Chapter 65: Cursekill, Earth-Fire Giant, Collapse

”Spirit Spear, Piercing God.”

The Three-Eyed One-Horned High Priest knew that Yi Tian still had strength to spare, but he had to act, or else the warriors would be slaughtered by the Evil Lord.

The Three-Eyed One-Horned High Priest began chanting, the yellow eyeball peeking through the gaps of his hat and mask looked especially deep and unfathomable.

An invisible surge of spiritual power coalesced behind the High Priest, faintly forming a long spear that pierced through space, stabbing straight into Yi Tian’s sea of consciousness.

Everything happened in a flash of lightning and stone, impossible to catch.

The instant the Spirit Spear was unleashed, the High Priest’s mouth under the mask curved into a strange smile.

He saw Yi Tian still drawing his bow and shooting arrows, completely unaware of the spiritual skill aimed at him.

But the next second, the High Priest’s face froze.

He saw a seven-colored light curtain appear before Yi Tian, grinding the Spirit Spear to dust and dispersing it into nothingness.

Yi Tian, completely unaffected, kept bending his bow and shooting, killing off those Silver Warriors closest to the city wall.

He seemed even more fired up slaughtering them now!

”How can this be possible?”

The High Priest’s eyes changed dramatically.

As a spiritual cultivator, he knew that while spiritual attacks were bizarre, they weren’t invincible.

Just because a living creature had 100 points of spiritual power, it didn’t mean you could simply crush them with 600 points of spiritual power.

A powerful physique enhanced all aspects, massively boosting their essence, qi, and spirit.

Witchcraft and spiritual power could also resist spiritual attacks.

For example, with the Heaven-Reaching High Priest, even the Three-Eyed One-Horned High Priest couldn’t do anything.

But no matter how strong, anyone would experience a brief daze under a spiritual attack.

Even if it was just a split-second! 0.01 seconds of daze!

But Yi Tian—didn’t show a single hint of effect, not even a hair’s worth!

”What’s wrong?” The Heaven-Reaching Tribe High Priest inquired.

”The Evil Lord has means to resist my spiritual attack, incredibly strange. We’ve lost too many, this can’t go on. I need to consume my origin and use my Ultimate Killing Skill. Afterward, I’ll be in a weakened state. Heaven-Reaching High Priest, have Hei Shan and the others attack together, or we’ll all fall here again.” The Three-Eyed One-Horned High Priest’s expression was grim. He took a deep breath, speaking seriously to the Heaven-Reaching High Priest.

”Alright. The Evil Lord’s means are far too powerful. The Omen Stone was most likely stolen by him. I’ll use Great Witchcraft as well and join you.” The Heaven-Reaching High Priest nodded.

”Hei Shan, we’re preparing to use Great Witchcraft. Get ready to attack. If we don’t give it our all now, we’ll all die here.” The Heaven-Reaching High Priest signaled to Hei Shan.

Though he was a wizard, he couldn’t command the Black Scale Tribe’s Hei Shan, only lay out the stakes, leaving the Black Scale Race no retreat.

The Black Scale Tribe was one of the most powerful in the Horn Alliance, possessing Diamond Warriors.

Hei Shan was known as the Black Scale Tribe’s ”Quasi-Platinum Warrior”, meaning he was destined to become a Platinum Warrior someday.

In this battle, the Black Scale Race Leader had issued a death command, leaving Hei Shan no way out. He glanced at the other three. ”Once the two High Priests launch their Great Witchcraft, we’ll jump onto the city wall. This Evil Lord is powerful, we have to go all out.”

”Understood!” The other three Golden Warriors exchanged looks, answering resolutely.

”Witchcraft—Witch Fire God!”

The Heaven-Reaching High Priest took a step forward and roared, his voice shaking the mountains.

Clusters of gray flames soared from his body, like ghostly fire, making hearts tremble.

Once in the sky, those gray flames shifted in size. One cluster greedily absorbed spiritual qi from the heavens and earth, eventually forming a massive heart beating rhythmically.

”Ha...”

The Heaven-Reaching High Priest stomped the earth again, mounds of dirt piling up before him.

The gray flames, like cats sensing fish, lunged at the mounds of soil. Some merged into the dirt.

Before everyone’s eyes, a twenty-foot-tall Earth Giant took shape.

The blazing heart ultimately floated into the giant’s body.

With fire and earth fused, its features were incomplete—only eyes and a huge mouth.

Its eyes were just two clusters of gray flames flickering wildly.

Its body was rocky, riddled with cracks from which flames spewed.

The Earth-Fire Giant, radiating waves of heat, lumbered toward the city wall. Though slow, each step reverberated with intimidating force.

”Witchcraft—Curse Killing!”

The Three-Eyed One-Horned Tribe High Priest roared as well, lowering his head and crossing his hands.

Dark radiance formed in each palm. He dropped to one knee; hands joined together, merging the two spheres of black light.

At the same time, the High Priest poured all his spiritual power into the black light, fusing them together.

”Great Witch God, bless me, slaughter the evil lord...”

Within the black glow, a deep vortex appeared, endlessly siphoning both spiritual power and witch power from the High Priest.

From atop the city wall, Yi Tian’s blood pounded, as if something important within him was being drawn downward.

Seven-Aperture Exquisite!

The divine-level passive talent activated immediately, suppressing the restless agitation of his spirit.

Yi Tian’s body now faintly shimmered with a seven-colored glow.

Streaks of black gas flew toward Yi Tian, but were crushed by the Seven-Aperture Exquisite shield, leaving Yi Tian totally unharmed.

The High Priest was powerful, but his spiritual power wasn’t even triple Yi Tian’s. No matter how profound his technique, he couldn’t overcome Seven-Aperture Exquisite.

For the first time, Yi Tian felt the warmth of Seven-Aperture Exquisite.

Beneath the city wall, the kneeling High Priest was drenched in sweat, frantically urging on the Curse Killing Skill.

He believed that as long as he used a potent and persistent force, he would eventually break Yi Tian’s shield.

Once he managed that, the curse would take hold and Yi Tian would die!

Such high hopes, such cold reality.

The High Priest kept pouring out energy, moving from conviction to doubt, until finally his limbs gave out and his gaze turned vacant.

Yi Tian’s shield was unbreakable, upending everything the High Priest had learned in three hundred years.

If the heavens had gifted him with spiritual skills, why curse him with an opponent like Yi Tian?

Within the minute, the High Priest was completely drained—no witch power left and his spirits sapped.

Still half-kneeling, he could no longer get up.

”Attack! Do not let that giant reach the city wall!”

Yi Tian shouted, issuing the order.

He sensed deadly danger from the Earth-Fire Giant—it was probably a War Machine. If it got near the city wall, the consequences would be unimaginable.

Never mind those fragile Elemental Warriors, even his own men, the few Kiddos, Qixin, and Liyue weren’t very sturdy.

As he spoke, Yi Tian loosed an arrow at Hei Shan.

Hei Shan squinted, caught the speeding arrow with one hand, and with a light squeeze snapped the alloy steel arrow in half.

”Kill!”

Hei Shan gave a command, raised his long blade, and with the Earth-Fire Giant leading, he and the other three chiefs prepared to leap onto the city wall.

”Roar!”

Tiger One let out a bellow. Hundreds of blades and swords followed the sound, slicing toward the Earth-Fire Giant.

”Clang, clang, clang...”

The blades and swords struck the giant, ringing with the sound of metal striking iron.

Deep gashes appeared on the Earth-Fire Giant, but it strode on undeterred, the flames in its eyes flickering ever faster.

”Whoosh...”

Mudfireballs spewed from the giant’s huge mouth, shooting toward the city wall.

”Fourth Child!”

Yi Tian, startled by the Earth-Fire Giant’s defense, hurriedly called out for the Fourth Child.

Fourth Child, understanding, blasted Origin Seven-Color True Flame at the incoming mudfireballs, exploding them in midair, hot shards raining everywhere.

The tribesmen under the walls were miserably unlucky, scorched and howling in agony.

”Fourth Child, can you hit the summoning mage with lightning?”

”Papa, those two mages have monsters blocking them in front, I can’t strike through.” Fourth Child gestured helplessly, shaking his little head.

”Five Elements Divine Light!”

Determined, Yi Tian thrust out his palm—a beam of five-colored light shot toward the Earth-Fire Giant’s head.

”Boom!”

The giant’s head exploded on the spot when struck by the Five Elements Divine Light.

Headless, the Earth-Fire Giant crashed down, exposing Hei Shan and the other three, Hei Yun included.

Attack power of 1200, ignoring all talents and skill defenses.

The Five Elements Divine Light was Yi Tian’s trump card—for emergencies only.

Under these circumstances, he couldn’t let the giant shoot more mudfireballs.

As Yi Tian destroyed the Earth-Fire Giant, the Heaven-Reaching High Priest spewed a mouthful of blood—even his mask couldn’t hide what a mess he was.

”Whiz...”

Now that Hei Shan’s group was exposed, Yi Tian fired another arrow at Hei Shan.

Hei Shan twisted just in time—the arrow grazed his armor and shattered a piece off.

Clearly, Hei Shan was rattled by now.

”Roar!”

A tiger’s roar—Tiger Two unleashed vines that whipped at Hei Yun at lightning speed.

Already fearful, Hei Yun had no means to resist the vines.

The vines coiled tight around him, tied a secure knot, then retracted—dragging Hei Yun up onto the city wall, captured alive.

Just then, Tiger Five’s Earth Mountain, Tiger Four’s Fury Flame, and Fifth Child’s Water Dragon were unleashed at once.

Fury Flame burned Hei Hong’s face beyond recognition, killing him on the spot.

Earth Mountain smashed Hei Bai to the ground; by the time the earth faded, Hei Bai had already fainted.

Fifth Child’s true Water Dragon—he spat out a pillar of azure water.

”Awooo...”

As soon as Fifth Child unleashed it with a dragon’s roar, the water transformed into a cyan dragon.

The cyan dragon pounced at Hei Shan lightning-fast, its tail lashing out with over a thousand attack power.

”Bang!”

Hei Shan, like a human sandbag, was sent flying by the cyan dragon.

The dragon wasn’t done—it curled its tail around him before he landed, slammed him into the ground several times before vanishing into mist.

In less than a minute, the battlefield was completely reversed—almost all Golden Warriors were wiped out.

One High Priest lay collapsed for no apparent reason, the other suffered backlash from the destroyed Earth-Fire Giant and temporarily couldn’t call on witchcraft.

Fight? Might as well piss in the wind!

After all that, they hadn’t even killed anyone. A pathetic few climbed onto the female wall, only to be stabbed off by the territory’s wolfish defenders.

Beneath the wall, corpses were everywhere, blood streaming, the surviving tribesmen sweating buckets—yet barely aware of it.

The city stood tall and ominous, striking fear into what remained of the tribesmen.

”There’s no point in continuing—retreat!”

”Woooo...”

The Heaven-Reaching High Priest’s eyes nearly burst with rage, but he had no choice but to order a retreat.

His attendant took out an ox horn and sounded the retreat.

”The enemy has lost its courage—take as many alive as possible.”

Seeing what few enemies remained trying to escape, Yi Tian halted the attack and ordered his forces to go out for the final hunt.

The Five Tiger Generals, Little White, and Little Moon all jumped off the wall, ready to cut off the retreating foes.

Two Eastsea Falcons landed atop the wall; Yi Tian and Little Kiddo hopped onto their backs.

The Eastsea Falcons soared aloft, activating Divine Eagle Bloodline, and shot toward the fleeing Heaven-Reaching High Priest carrying the Three-Eyed One-Horned High Priest.

At least he didn’t ditch the Three-Eyed One-Horned High Priest.

”Screech...”

The Heaven-Reaching Tribe of the Minotaur Race were slow runners, and the High Priest was no exception.

Just as they reached the forest, the falcons swooped in.

”Crack!”

A bolt of lightning fell from the sky, striking straight at the High Priest’s forehead.

Right before Fourth Child unleashed Divine Thunder, the High Priest sensed danger and let go of the Three-Eyed One-Horned High Priest.

He raised both hands to the sky, enduring greater backlash, forcing witch power to the limit.

A witch power shield coalesced.

Fourth Child’s Divine Thunder struck the shield—it shattered like an egg shell.

The force crashed straight into the High Priest’s head.

Struck by the Divine Thunder, the High Priest rolled his eyes and fainted away.
