Global Lords: Me and My Calabash Kiddos

Chapter 72: Chapter 64: Brutal Siege Battle

Three hundred Brass Mechanized Guards, four Silver Mechanized Guards, one hundred and ten Elemental Warriors, and a hundred and twenty subordinates.

On the north city wall, there was one member of the territory every two meters.

Two Eastsea Falcons patrolled the sky, while the Five Tigers and Little Moon stood at intervals along the city walls to boost high-tier combat strength.

Yi Tian swept a glance over the forces, feeling his spirits rise to the clouds; he truly felt he was beginning to look like a real Lord.

That batch of invading natives didn’t split their troops to attack all four gates at once, instead gathering together—their momentum was unstoppable.

”Three-Eyed One-Horned Tribe, 500 Native Bronze Warriors, 100 Silver Warriors, 2 Golden Warriors.”

”Heaven-Reaching Tribe of the Minotaur Race, 500 Native Bronze Warriors, 100 Silver Warriors, 4 Golden Warriors.”

”Black Scale Tribe, 300 Silver Warriors, 18 Golden Warriors.”

”Three-Eyed One-Horned Tribe High Priest: Strength 200, Constitution 250, Agility 260, Witch Power 675, Spiritual Power 608.”

”Heaven-Reaching Tribe High Priest: Strength 700, Constitution 600, Agility 580, Witch Power 780, Spiritual Power 210.”

”Black Scale Tribe Golden Warrior Hei Yun: Strength 810, Constitution 850, Agility 760.”

”Black Scale Tribe Golden Warrior Hei Bai: Strength 820, Constitution 840, Agility 745.”

”Black Scale Tribe Golden Warrior Hei Hong: Strength 790, Constitution 810, Agility 726.”

”Black Scale Tribe leader Hei Shan: Strength 940, Constitution 950, Agility 910.”

After sweeping the battlefield with the Celestial Dao Stone, Yi Tian’s expression turned grave.

The other sixteen Golden Warriors all had their three stats below 750; the Elemental Warriors could take them out.

But in this suddenly-appearing Black Scale tribe, four members had Constitution over 800. Only the Five Tigers and Little Kiddo at full power could handle them.

And then there were the two bizarre High Priests: the Three-Eyed One-Horned Tribe’s High Priest had average stats, but Witch Power 675 and Spiritual Power 608.

Yi Tian knew—Witch Power was a kind of energy similar to Spiritual Power. These two High Priests were the ”Wizards” Gu Qianqiu had mentioned.

The Three-Eyed One-Horned Tribe High Priest’s Spiritual Power was exceptionally high; Yi Tian suspected he had Spiritual Attack Skills.

The Heaven-Reaching Tribe High Priest seemed to be dual-cultivating Strength and Constitution—obviously a tough opponent.

Yi Tian mapped out his battle plan. The opponent had over fifteen hundred troops; if he fought head-on, a pyrrhic victory was certain.

If he could take down the two High Priests and the four leading Black Scale Tribe Golden Warriors, he could win with minimal losses.

The native tribes moved fast. Barely a minute after Yi Tian’s troops took position, their force was already five hundred meters from the War Manor’s north gate.

They didn’t attack immediately, but stopped to arrange their formations.

At the front stood the Three-Eyed One-Horned Tribe High Priest, the Heaven-Reaching Tribe High Priest, and Black Scale Tribe leader Hei Shan.

They were extremely cautious; ordinary natives in front held huge shields, so even with the high vantage, Yi Tian couldn’t strike the High Priests with Five Elements Divine Light.

”Papa, it’s so hot out, yet those two weirdos are wearing black hats and those huge clothes—aren’t they sweltering?” Fourth Child stood atop the parapet, pointing at the two High Priests ahead and asking Yi Tian.

If he hadn’t been restrained by Yi Tian, Fourth Child would’ve started spewing fire already.

”Uh, that’s a tough question, even Papa doesn’t know the answer. I’m curious if they’re hot too.” Yi Tian glanced at the native warriors drenched in sweat, some even stripping to the waist—yet the two High Priests insisted on those eccentric outfits.

”Lord, those robes and hats are called Wizard Robes—a symbol of the Wizard’s mystery and nobility. They represent the approval of the gods—even in death, the robe must not fall!” Gu Qianqiu explained respectfully from behind Yi Tian.

”Later, I’ll strip their clothes and see what they really look like.” Third Child called from another section of parapet, doing a handstand as she spoke.

Any regular parent might scold a girl for not acting gently, but the Calabash Sisters’ personalities were set from birth.

”Lord! Hand over the Omen Stone, and we’ll withdraw!”

Hei Shan stepped forward, his voice booming like thunder, echoing across the whole manor.

”What Omen Stone? The Celestial Dao Stone? That’s a gift of the Dao, not some cursed thing. If the stone is here, I’m here. Say no more—attack if you dare!” Since there was an allegedly powerful faction involved, Yi Tian would never admit to having the Omen Stone.

Even if they were sure the Omen Stone was with him, he’d deny it to the end.

Hei Shan frowned, turning to quietly confer with the two High Priests.

”Whether the Evil Lord got the Omen Stone, or our League’s enemy stole it, this Evil Lord must be destroyed.” In the end, the Three-Eyed One-Horned Tribe High Priest spoke resolutely.

Their tribe had suffered heavy casualties under Yi Tian’s hand—an irreconcilable grudge.

”The city is sturdy, and this Evil Lord is tricky. During the assault, we must intervene, or our warriors will struggle.” The Heaven-Reaching Tribe High Priest nodded in agreement.

”Don’t worry, I’ll use Divine Skill to curse the Lord. Cut off the head, the rest will scatter.” Yellow eyes glimmered beneath the Three-Eyed One-Horned High Priest’s hat, sweat streaming down—clearly sweltering.

”High Priests, should we split up and attack all four walls?” Hei Shan asked the two High Priests.

”We don’t have many troops. First, we can’t gauge the other gates’ defense; second, the enemy Elemental Warriors are strong—splitting our forces will only weaken us.” The Three-Eyed One-Horned Tribe High Priest shook his head.

If they split, their strongest would also have to split, risking defeat in detail. Last month’s evaluation, the Evil Lord faced a triple front attack and still won decisively.

”Three-Eyed One-Horned High Priest, would you please use Divine Skill first? I’ve got this tingling at the back of my neck looking at the city.” Hei Shan, veteran of a hundred battles for the Black Scale Tribe, had always trusted his instincts for danger.

”Go ahead and begin the siege. Spiritual Attacks may be resisted by those with high Constitution or Witch Power. As long as we distract the Evil Lord, I’ll kill him for sure!” The Three-Eyed One-Horned Tribe High Priest was full of confidence.

On Yi Tian’s side, he began assigning tasks to Little Kiddo and company.

Fourth Child’s most powerful Divine Thunder was aimed at the Heaven-Reaching Tribe High Priest; once wasn’t enough, hit him twice.

Fifth Child’s Origin Water Dragon was for Hei Shan.

Five Tiger Talents were reserved for Hei Hong, Hei Bai, Hei Yun, and the Three-Eyed One-Horned Tribe Wizard.

Yi Tian’s Five Elements Divine Light would be used as a backup.

Over sixty single-target Elemental Warriors would focus on the remaining twenty Golden Warriors.

The remaining fifty AoE Elemental Warriors would blast the enemy Silver Warriors.

The Native Bronze Warriors would be handled by the Brass Mechanized Guards and territory members led by Gu Qianqiu.

Big Child, Third Child, Third Child, Little Moon, Little White, Little Blue, Little Black, Liyue, and Qixin would assist in city defense.

”Warriors! Kill the Evil Lord and reclaim the Omen Stone! The first to make it earns 100 Beast Cores and 10,000 gold!” With all preparations set, Hei Shan roared, rallying morale.

The native tribes clearly wanted this battle settled in one stroke; their attack led by twenty Golden Warriors and hundreds of Silver Warriors at the front.

Hei Shan and the other three leaders were ready to leap onto the wall at any moment.

With their strength, they no longer needed siege ropes.

In fact, these native bosses had already entered the attack range of Yi Tian and the Kiddos—Yi Tian planned to unleash a deadly strike once the enemy fully committed, shattering the morale of the Silver and Bronze Warriors.

Mountain Lifting and Cauldron Carrying!

As the enemy closed to within 300 meters, Yi Tian activated his talent, drew his bow, and took aim at a mid-stage Gold Black Scale Tribe Golden Warrior.

Archery Mastery LV.4.

”Whoosh...”

The arrow brought the target down, fate unknown.

This arrow served as the signal to begin the battle.

One hundred and ten Elemental Warriors unleashed their Elemental Attacks simultaneously, targeting the Silver Warriors—every blow was deadly.

Below, over a hundred enemy Silver Warriors, each wielding a rare Horn Bow, assembled into an archer phalanx, intent on suppressing the Elemental Warriors’ firepower.

The Elemental Warriors, with their sharp senses, reacted the instant the enemy’s archer phalanx formed.

Thirty AoE-type Elemental Warriors threw their skills into the ranks of enemy archers.

Earth Balls, Wind Slashes, Laser Beams, Sword Rain.

Ferocious Elemental Skills almost wiped out the entire enemy archer formation.

The remaining twenty AoE-type Elemental Warriors targeted the Silver Warriors gearing up their climbing ropes.

”Witch Power Enhance!”

The Heaven-Reaching Tribe High Priest, seeing the rough start, yelled, sending a gray veil from his back that quickly fused into the attacking Silver and Golden Warriors.

With Witch Power enhancement, the native warriors gained a boost in strength and grew frenzied, swiftly closing in, their climbing ropes shooting out and latching onto the parapets.

As if victory was within reach, the native warriors roared as they scrambled up the walls in a frenzy.

The Elemental Warriors began channeling another round of attacks, knocking down the first wave of Silver Warriors scaling the wall.

Nineteen Golden Warriors were targeted by sixty single-attack Elemental Warriors at once.

Ice Soul Arrows pierced a Golden Warrior with 600 Constitution.

A wooden spear stabbed through the heart of a Golden Warrior with 630 Constitution.

Two Shadows assassinated a Golden Warrior who was seconds from climbing onto the city tower.

Several Fire Elemental Soldiers unleashed Nine-Linked Fireballs, roasting a Golden Warrior with 700 Constitution to charcoal.

Three Celestial Thunders struck one after another, blasting a Golden Warrior with 700 Constitution.

The three Golden Natives who’d escaped injury broke and fled, terrified as their comrades were felled by strange attacks.

One of the three fleeing Golden Natives was shot down by a covert arrow from Yi Tian.

Fifth Child spewed a jet of water, blasting a swath of climbing Silver Natives off the wall with brutal force.

Fourth Child spat a pillar of fire, turning over a dozen Silver Natives into human torches.

The fight for the walls was already fast and blazing—now, after Fourth Child’s fire, the north wall turned into an oven.

The Five Tiger Generals, not using their Talents, spat Elements from their mouths and rapidly killed enemy warriors one after another.

As a horde of Native Bronze Warriors approached, three hundred Brass Mechanized Guards began hurling spears.

Thwack! Thwack!

Flesh and blood everywhere, wails filling the air. Sweat mixed with blood, blood flowed with tears.

This round alone caused over two hundred enemy casualties.

The four Black Scale Tribe leaders, originally eager to leap onto the walls, now hesitated at the sight, turning to look at the High Priests.

”Three-Eyed One-Horned High Priest, do it now!” The Heaven-Reaching Tribe High Priest, finding his Witch Power enhancement ineffective, urged his peer on.

This Lord was just too tough, a hard bone to gnaw.
