A Sorcerer’s Journey

Chapter 968: Chapter 660: Ivory Castle

Three days later.

The Parasitic Spore Blood tried its best to heal the wound as Mahogany looked towards the hundred-meter-long dark world rift. The number of monsters surging out had suddenly decreased significantly. Is it over?

Boom!

As if his soul heart was violently struck by something, Mahogany suddenly glanced towards the world rift, reacting the same way as the other Plant People around him.

Suddenly!

Two Bone Spur Giant Hands extended from the darkness, gripping the edges of the rift with twenty-meter-long, menacing and powerful arms. Several Slave Monsters, who were attacked by the Plant People and hadn’t managed to move away from the world rift, were flattened into a pulp with a sound like mosquitoes being swatted. Blood dripped from between the fingers.

”This, this is...”

The Plant People army gathered around the world rift, killing the dwindling Wizard World Slave Monster Corps, was stunned by this sudden change. They abandoned their final assault around the rift and looked into the dark cavern.

Is the Demon King from the Different World finally going to appear?

Over the past three days, millions of Slave Monster Corps infiltrating the Parasitic Spore World had been decimated by the gathered Plant People army; the remaining scattered elite monster corps were gathered around the world rift, resisting stubbornly.

Because the Wizard’s Will absolutely forbade them from retreating even one step!

Seemingly encouraged by the enormous entity slowly emerging from the rift, these monsters let out roars, fearlessly launching their full counterattack.

Surrounding the world rift, tens of times more Plant People troops did not hasten to annihilate them but rather focused their gaze on the world rift, quietly waiting.

Slowly, as the arms widened the rift’s exit, the monster’s head finally emerged from the world rift, now large enough for a Fourth-Level World Lord to pass through thanks to the Spacetime Altar.

”Parasitic Spore World!”

Covered with frightening bone spikes, even adorned with barbs, the Ivory Castle Stigmata Wizard stood resilient against the immense pressure of the Balance Rules within the Parasitic Spore World. His sunken eyes under the bone helm scanned the dense Plant People army around the world rift.

”Hahaha! Mighty evil lord of the different realm, I am the King of the Dark Gold Flower. If I can stop you from invading this world, I will gain recognition from the World Will and become the World Divine Tree!”

A top-tier Third-Level Creature, seizing the slim chance to become a World Master.

Golden flames burned fiercely, with undeniable might. It had indeed reached the limits of an individual creature; without becoming a World Master, progress would be difficult.

Billions of worlds and countless creatures stall at this step and end in obscurity. Just one more step, and it’s an entirely new world ahead!

”Protect the great Ivory Castle Stigmata Wizard!”

Absolutely loyal to the Wizard’s Will, a giant black bat charged at the Dark Gold Flower, its chest bearing a ghostly face spewing dark gas, an attack fueled by the resentful souls of hundreds of enemies.

The Dark Gold Flower glanced at this Slave Monster, and its petals ignited. It employed an all-or-nothing potential burst, unleashing its most brilliant and intense strike within a very short time, facing either recognition from the World Will or death, with no escape.

”Hiss, hiss, hiss...”

The bat creature charging at the Dark Gold Flower was completely stripped of its dark soul energies within ten meters of it, bursting into flames. With a last shriek, it flapped twice before becoming a fireball descending from the sky.

”Hahahahaha...”

The over fifty-meter golden fireball shone like a small sun, its fierce and turbulent heat waves rushing towards the colossal entity emerging from the dark rift. If it could be repelled, the World Will’s recognition would be won!

The chance to become a World Master was right before him.

Closer, closer, even closer...

Like a meteor slicing through the sky, dazzling and resolute, its speed too swift for most Slave Monsters to react, flashing past directly to the dark rift.

Only the Bone Spike Creature’s cold eyes under the sunken eye sockets remained unblinking, gazing at the flame.

Under True Time, the Third-Level Creature’s most brilliant and glorious full-force strike appeared slow in the eyes of the Ivory Castle Stigmata Wizard.

”Get lost.”

Boom...

With casual ease, the Bone Spur Hand swatted fiercely, hitting the center of the golden flames with a crisp sound. The next moment, the Bone Spur Hand, ablaze with golden flames, casually flicked away as it crammed back between the rift sides, seeming to seize time to squeeze into the Parasitic Spore World.

”Damn it, there was still such a powerful creature; had I known, I wouldn’t have acted recklessly.”

The Ivory Castle Stigmata Wizard’s eyes pierced through the scattered debris of this small entity that rushed to its doom, smashed by a swipe. His gaze then traveled through the sky full of Plant People army, finally falling upon the King of Fern, a Level Six Creature!

It would be too disgraceful to retreat directly...

Bracing himself, the Ivory Castle Stigmata Wizard pressed forward into the Parasitic Spore World with all his might, expecting the Sword of Destruction to follow at the moment of his full arrival.

While the Ivory Castle Stigmata Wizard buried his head in concentration to descend into the Parasitic Spore World as quickly as possible, he suddenly noticed the sky darkening.

”Hm?”

Struggling, the Ivory Castle Stigmata Wizard looked up, gasped in surprise, and the next moment roared: ”Ivory Armament!”

An even stronger force erupted within him; his bone helm and spikes intensely evolved, dyed blood red, perfectly enhancing his defensive power.

”Why, did we wait for something like you? Get out!”

Seemingly dissatisfied for having waited a few days only for the Ivory Castle Fourth-Level Stigmata Wizard!

After all, for years, the mutual projection attacks between here and the Parasitic Spore World had not only stirred the fury between the Soul-devouring Kiss but also enraged the King of Fern, eager for a head-on strike as soon as they crossed over, venting all these years’ worth of anger.

The colossal wood fist unleashed wave after wave of shock, its exaggerated size overshadowing even the Ivory Castle true body, thundering down terrifyingly. The explosive sonic booms sent Slave Monster troops around the rift scattering, and many somewhat weaker ones closer to the rift exploded on the spot with a ”plop” at the sound.

Rumble rumble...

After the intense shock waves, the King of Fern slowly retracted his fist.

Several bone spikes were embedded in the colossal wood fist, bloodstained. Within the black darkness of the rift, the Ivory Castle Stigmata Wizard was nowhere to be seen.

”Hmph, quite sturdy indeed.”

The King of Fern coldly scanned the world rift’s surrounding monsters, icily commanding: ”Clean them up completely.” (To be continued. If you like this work, please visit Qidian () to vote, your support is my greatest motivation. Mobile users please visit m. to read.)
