A Sorcerer’s Journey

Chapter 967: Chapter 659: Flooding In

”Hmm! What kind of world is this, where so many different forms are mixed together? Are these monsters from the chaos world?”

King of Fern looked at the endless stream of slave monster groups from the Wizard World, surprising him slightly before he waved his branches with a cold expression, signaling the Plant People army to fully engage in battle from all directions.

”Exterminate them, kill them all, not one left!”

They are merely First-Level, Second-Level, and Third-Level Creatures, although their sheer numbers are terrifyingly large and ferocious. However, as the King Ferns, who is already stepping into the domain of Level Six Creatures, they are just like ants that can be ignored when they don’t reach absolute numbers.

Moreover, the entire elite force of the Parasitic Spore World is gathered here, with many World Masters and World Guardians present. If it’s only these low-level monster corps, they are doomed no matter how many come.

The other World Divine Trees agreed with King of Fern, merely observing the scene as the monster corps surged like a torrent in the sky. Though the slave monster corps have caused a substantial impact on the well-prepared Plant People army, they cannot achieve a definitive advantage in quantity or quality and are being exterminated amid horrified roars by more Plant People army.

These Parasitic Spore World Masters are very patient.

Behind the incessant emergence of the slave monster corps from the world’s fissure, there must be truly terrifying creatures, which are the key to this war!

...

”Charge!”

The Mahogany, seven meters tall, wielded a large rock stick with its branch arms, following the Plant People army towards the black fissure in the air.

As one of the Third-Level Creatures, the king of the Delunsal Mountain Range in the Domain of Male Fern, this Mahogany has a history of over a thousand years and is among the ancient life forms.

The Fern Overlord City has gathered nearly the entire force of the Parasitic Spore World, even for the Mahogany among them, it is insignificant.

”What world do these monsters come from? They look so ugly and hideous, even worse than those recorded creatures from ancient city relics!”

Beside Mahogany, a Second-Level Male Ring Flower roared, adorned with toxic aura, mixed among the countless Plant People army.

It is apparent that besides the Parasitic Spore Blood, this world has completely transformed into a passively evolving, original ecological plant world following the ancient city relics.

”No matter where they come from, kill as many as we can. If conditions permit, I’ll spend some essential force to transform a few into pets, bringing them back to patrol the territory with style, hahahaha!”

The Demon Crown Banana Tree laughed, shaking its body to drop numerous banana bomb clones, rushing faster towards the skies.

”Yes, good idea!”

Inspired by the Demon Crown Banana Tree’s suggestion, the Male Ring Flower looked at the grotesque and vile monsters surging from the world’s fissure in the air, fantasizing about transforming a couple into pets and parading them in the territory with pride, making him feel ecstatically joyous.

Thrilled, the Male Ring Flower also rushed more eagerly towards the world’s fissure.

Although there are many monsters from an unknown world, this is where the entire Plant People army of the Parasitic Spore World is gathered. What if all the monsters are killed and there’s no chance to seize any trophies?

Compared to the younger guys, Mahogany is obviously more composed.

He obtained some horrifying information from other ancient Plant People, and if not for the summons of the Divine Trees, Mahogany would have preferred not to join this war.

”Roar!”

A four-winged Octopus Head Giant Bird monster, over thirty meters, emitting terrifying pressure as a Third-Level Creature, stronger than many monsters surged from the hundred-meter world’s fissure, was besieged by seven or eight Plant People, yet showed no fear, but only more ferocious and savage.

Splat!

An octopus tentacle wrapped around a five-meter Plant Person, its suction cups gripping firmly, while several sturdy branches struggled to break free.

”Help me!”

The Plant Person cried out in panic.

Mahogany scoffed coldly, swung his rock stick at the monster but was deflected by the slippery fluid on the monster’s body.

”Hmm!?”

The sky was terribly chaotic, although millions of Plant People army gathered before the world’s fissure were rapidly slaughtering the monster corps surging from the world’s fissure, due to their incessant emergence, some had spread, being intercepted and besieged by further outlying Plant People army to prevent them from flowing into Fern Overlord City or even the Parasitic Spore World defense perimeter, causing losses.

Sensing a monster’s trace behind, Mahogany moved to defend it with his rock stick.

It turned out to be a bizarre cockroach covered with fiery patterns, over three meters in length, not particularly powerful looking, causing any initial tension to relax instantly.

Boom!

However, the next moment, strong acids reacted with elemental energy in the air, resulting in a massive explosion, engulfing everything before Mahogany in a blaze of fire.

”Ugh...”

Mahogany was blown back in retreat, his mind blank.

How could it be, how could there be a creature whose entire existence’s meaning is a glorious suicidal attack for this moment?!

As a Plant Person, Mahogany naturally couldn’t grasp the survival method and existential reason of the Screaming Cockroach World Hivemind’s exploding cockroach birthed by their societal environment.

”Ah...”

Compared to the defensive abilities of Third-Level Creature Mahogany, other relatively weaker Plant People attacking the four-winged Octopus Head Giant Bird were falling amid screams as they struggled to extinguish the fires on themselves.

Even the four-winged Octopus Head Giant Bird was affected by the exploding cockroach’s indiscriminate attack, wailing nonstop!

What is all this about?

Are they not from the same world?

”Little ones, get your spirits up; there are more invading monsters from Another World waiting for you, don’t die here just yet.”

A soft vine caught Mahogany and extinguished the strong acid flames on him, the voice warm yet dignified, invigorating Mahogany as he looked up to find it was a Guardian Tree!

”Yes, Guardian Tree!”

What Mahogany experienced was merely one of the assaults caused by monsters attempting to break into Parasitic Spore World from the dark fissure, as they kept surging into Parasitic Spore World.

Overall, the Plant People army of the Parasitic Spore World still held absolute advantage.

Mahogany’s figure flashed, rushing towards other monsters.
