A Sorcerer’s Journey

Chapter 952: Chapter 944: Soul-devouring Kiss

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh...

In the sky, Green, along with the Sword of Destruction Youquan and six Shagu Thunder Emperor Wolf World Masters, sped through the air. Below them, on the ground and in the low skies, millions of the Slave Legion charged forward with a thunderous ”rumble,” ”rumble.”

Numerous Stigma Sorcerers, billions of bizarre Slave Monster Corps enslaved from various worlds, have been sifted through and eliminated by this world’s trials. Though hundreds of millions have been lost, countless bloodthirsty, fanged creatures remain, and their overall strength has surprisingly evolved, becoming stronger compared to before despite the numerical depletion.

Beep beep beep...

Green’s pale and slender hand, characterized by flowing Seven-Colored Runes, took out the Crystal Ball. Within, Cappuccino’s silhouette appeared, holding a series of experimental data regarding Parasitic Spores.

This was a task Green had long assigned.

With complete experimental equipment from the Void Mothership, and a massive number of Oblivion Tower Academy Arcane Wizards witnessing firsthand the effects of Parasitic Spores turning Li Qingya into plants at the initial arrival to Spirit People World, Green was naturally greatly concerned about the impending full-scale invasion of the Parasitic Spore World.

The method developed at A Base to save Li Qingya was a ”blood exchange cleansing” approach after extensive research by Green.

The cause of everything was the Power of Parasitic Spores!

Parasitic Spores, tiny parasitic plants possessing an incredible ”Immortal Body,” survive as biological blood within every plant life of the Parasitic Spore World, representing the Origin Will of the world’s power. This force can exert its ”Immortal Body” through infection, transforming and eroding flesh-based organisms into plants.

As for how this Immortal Body of Parasitic Spores remains immortal...

Inside the Void Mothership, Cappuccino took out a lengthy series of experimental data reports, wide-eyed and full of astonishment.

”Wow, Mentor, this Parasitic Spore is incredible! It seems we have made an extraordinary discovery!”

Green, having expected this, nodded solemnly, saying, ”Hmm, tell me about it.”

”Mentor, it’s better if you see for yourself.”

Cappuccino enlarged and transmitted the Parasitic Spore experimental data through the Crystal Ball.

Parasitic Spore, Microorganism, Experimental Data Report:

1. Ice Element Attack Experiment: Survival rate of 90% at 650-degree Ice Element attack, 50% at 1100-degree Ice Element attack, 1% at 1900-degree Ice Element attack.

2. Fire Element Attack Experiment: Survival rate of 90% at 180-degree Fire Element attack, 50% at 350-degree Fire Element attack, 0% at 600-degree Fire Element attack.

3. Thunder Element Attack Experiment: Survival rate of 90% at 400-degree Thunder attack, 50% at 500-degree Thunder attack, 0% at 600-degree Thunder attack.

4. Pressure Attack Experiment: 90% survival rate at 1500-degree pressure, 50% at 3000-degree pressure, higher pressure experimental data is lacking...

5. Acid Dissolution Attack Experiment: 99% survival rate at 3000-degree acid dissolution, stronger acid dissolution experimental data is lacking...

6. Void Annihilation Experiment: Death rate of 5% per third Hourglass, extremely few possess a super-endurance Void survival rate, reducing their own material force with Void Force to survive beyond 300 Hourglasses.

7. Radiation Attack Experiment: 99% survival rate at 3000-degree radiation attack, higher radiation attack experimental data is lacking...

”On the microorganism level, Parasitic Spores are indeed akin to the Immortal Body, an outstanding achievement. However, the weakness is difficulty in feeding; once leaving the parasite body, they fall into endless dormancy. It seems, ultimately, they lack the world-changing power of Six Ring Algae and Abyss Moss, although they are slightly peculiar as microorganism specimens, worth collecting for potential further research.”

After gaining an intuitive understanding of the Parasitic Spores, Green nodded and closed the Crystal Ball communication.

......

Original CF-2 Base site.

”Wizard World!”

Over the past decade, this nightmare-like name has been murmured countless times by the King of Male Ferns, whose fear beneath the hatred chills the heart.

Nowadays, at CF-2 Base, due to the emergence of a large number of Plant People, traces of Evolved Human and Spirit People technology have long disappeared. Plus, after successive cataclysms and the world-shaking presence of Dominators, significant changes have occurred here.

A bottomless gorge cuts through, with an Active Volcano appearing in the distance, and formerly abundant Mutated Creatures are now reduced to a tenth.

”Ah... it’s a curse, the Wizard’s curse, save me, Great viscount king!”

Under the feet of the King of Male Ferns, a seemingly ordinary Plant Person of about ten meters suddenly cried out in terror. A massive red lip mark appeared on its body, with its soul burning fiercely, swallowed by this strange red lip and entering a Mysterious Space.

Such a frightening Wizard curse, carrying some extreme mysterious contagiousness, spreads among low-level creatures without detection, even when occurring near the King of Male Ferns!

Below the World Master, all low-level Plant People live in fear, dreading that the soul-devouring curse would suddenly fall upon them.

This unknown contagion is one reason why the King of Male Ferns dared not order the opening of the World Gate, letting many low-level Plant People escape back to Parasitic Spore World.

As for escaping back to the Parasitic Spore World along with other World Masters, then sealing the fissure that the King of Fern had wedged with its body, leaving only the last contact point...

Since nine years ago, when the Time-Willow Vine, having lost three vital branches intending to return to the Parasitic Spore World to recuperate, was trapped in the world rift with nowhere to run and nowhere to hide, and later attacked by a hidden Wizard, the staying World Masters in Spirit People World completely abandoned this idea!

”Damn it!”

The King of Male Ferns poured massive amounts of the Power of Parasitic Spores, submerging the soul-devouring curse occurrence at its feet.

In mere moments, this Plant Person’s surface was covered with a layer of bright green, which was the Parasitic Spore’s overflow.

Before invading the chaos apocalypse spirit human world, the King of Male Ferns had a clear understanding of that chaos world Devil Locustvine, intending to realize the absolute nemesis against the Devil Locustvine with the Parasitic Spore’s plant transformation, perhaps even achieving perfect grafting with it!

However, now, even that Devil Locustvine...

”Fern, quickly close the World Gate, quickly! Don’t worry about us; you must not let this group of Demons enter the Parasitic Spore World, promise me!”

Transmitting Will is not easy, as the King of Male Ferns was almost consuming its Origin Force!

Regretting the unauthorized intervention in this world, the King of Male Ferns gasped heavily.

For the safety of the Mother Realm, the King of Male Ferns had resolved to permanently exile itself in this world, awaiting the fate of annihilation!

Beneath the King of Male Ferns, the Plant Person cursed by the Soul-devouring Kiss had become an empty shell, akin to an ordinary unconscious plant rooted to the ground. Over the decade, the King of Male Ferns had witnessed far too many such plant shells.

”Oh? Don’t you think it’s too late?”

A brightly blooming flower gradually opened, as the Stigma Grand Sorcerer of Soul-devouring Kiss sneered like a fairy. (To be continued. If you like this work, please recommend it at Qidian () or give monthly votes. Your support is my greatest motivation. Mobile users, please visit m. for reading.)
