A Sorcerer’s Journey

Chapter 954: Chapter 946: Parasitic Spore World

Parasitic Spore World, abundant with Plant People varieties, dominated by Fern Plant People as the kings.

Since the endless seaweed receded with the tides in Ancient Times, the parasitic spore system evolved within the fern plants, and this world has been tightly governed by this microorganism, becoming the original world rule.

As executors of parasitic spores, the fern plants enjoy supreme power, ruling this medium-sized world.

Among them, the three World Masters of the fern plant world who stand at the top enjoy the most exalted status of this world, receiving adoration from many Plant People, thus dividing the Parasitic Spore World into three domains.

The one leading the invasion of the chaos apocalypse spirit human world, the King of Iron Filigree Fern, also known as the King of Male Ferns, rules the Domain of Male Fern, and commands three major World Masters, being the weakest Fern King of the Parasitic Spore World.

Besides the three World Masters under the King of Male Fern, others who jointly invade the chaos apocalypse spirit human world as World Masters are led by the King of Fern and the Viscount King.

The Level Six Creature, the Golden Star Fern King, also known as King of Fern, leads the Fern’s Domain, and commands six major World Masters, being the strongest Fern King of the Parasitic Spore World.

The Level Five Creature, the Scaly Hair Fern King, also known as Viscount King, leads the Viscount’s Domain, with the next level of power.

Including the World Guardians, the Parasitic Spore World is not a weak existence among medium worlds, far more formidable than the Explosive Thunder World and the former Dinosaur World within this world cluster.

Since over ten thousand years ago, after the King Ferns broke through the shackles and achieved the status of Endless Dominators and disappeared mysteriously, the three Fern Kings of the Parasitic Spore World have been secretly striving for power, aspiring to become the next Endless Dominator, supporting each other while also comparing against one another.

In recent years, with the secrets discovered within the chaos apocalypse spirit human world, the weakest King of Male Ferns finally decided to take a risk and initiated the invasion plan of the spirit human world...

”King of Fern, close the World Gate immediately, immediately! Forget about us, you must not let these Demons enter the Parasitic Spore World, promise me!”

The resolute and determined will roared, as if shouting with all its courage, full of despair.

The King of Male Ferns in the spirit human world decided to sacrifice himself and all the World Masters who cooperated in the invasion, permanently exiled in the Foreign Domain, to block those unknown enemies, and the King of Fern was in disbelief!

”What exactly happened, answer me quickly!”

What on earth happened over there!?

Since the successful invasion a dozen years ago, to prevent the artificial World Rift from fully healing, the King of Ferns had extended one of his life branches into the World Rift, maintaining the last link between the two worlds, awaiting the news from the King of Male Ferns to reopen the World Rift.

For this expedition, the King of Male Ferns took away the elite forces under the King of Fern and the Marquis King, nearly half of the Parasitic Spore World’s strength. What happened over there that caused such panic in the King of Male Ferns?

Wasn’t it previously verified that parasitic spores could effectively restrain that Devil Locustvine by attempting to plant grafting it?

”Oh? Don’t you think it’s too late?”

The eerie voice, the unknown will felt by the King of Fern, exuded a sense of evil and ominousness never before encountered in all his interactions with various beings throughout his long life.

That feeling, as if he was a child seeing for the first time a swarm of bats flying under the moonlight, flashed by.

The oppressive feeling made it hard to breathe; there was indeed a Level Six Creature’s aura over there just now!

Besides that Devil Locustvine, could there be other High-order Beings in that world?

”Right, didn’t the King of Iron Filigree Fern just say this group of Demons!?”

Without further hesitation, the King of Ferns fully retracted the life branch stuck in the World Rift; as for rescuing the King of Male Ferns, it can be discussed later. The most important thing now is to prevent those terrible entities, judged by the King of Male Ferns as irresistible by the Parasitic Spore World, from coming over!

What kind of beings could render the King of Male Ferns incapable of even retreating?

”Wenjing, go to the Viscount’s Domain immediately, have the Scaly Hair Fern King bring all his legions, all of them, I want to see him bring everything he’s been hiding, remember, leave nothing behind, bring everything!”

”All of them!?”

Wenjing repeated in shock, then, feeling the oppressive power of the King of Ferns, quickly responded loudly: ”Yes!”

Daring not to linger for a moment, Wenjing’s slender body sank into the ground and disappeared, vanishing in an instant.

”Firmiana Simplex, go to the World’s Heart immediately, gather all the World Guardians here, make sure they bring the legacy of the King Ferns, tell them something big is happening here, possibly the Parasitic Spore World has provoked some tremendous beings!”

The Firmiana Simplex, having learned from Wenjing’s previous lesson, dared not utter a word, its body turned into countless leaves fluttering and scattered into the sky.

Finally, the King of Ferns turned to his trusted lieutenant, the Kidney Fern.

”Assemble all the leaders within the territory, leave no one out, have them appear neatly before me within three months! Also, unlock the Sea of Life Shackles, head to the Earth Palace, and bring the Heart of Water here! Hmph, if anything truly dares to invade fully from over there, even if it is at the King Ferns level, the Parasitic Spore World will never surrender without a fight!”

At the King Ferns level!?

What exactly did the King of Male Ferns provoke over there!?

His heart restless and uneasy, the sense of crisis did not entirely stem from the brief message from the King of Male Ferns, but more from an undefined unease permeating the Parasitic Spore World, as if a shadow of a clawed monster from the darkness was reaching across, twisted and grinning with greed, excited for the spoils easily within reach.

”No!”

Amid retracting his life branches endlessly from the narrow World Rift, the King of Ferns roared amid his wild thoughts.

He knew the King of Male Ferns’ character, personality, and temper most thoroughly; otherwise, he wouldn’t have agreed to let him provoke that giant in the chaos apocalypse spirit human world.

Yet at this moment, the King of Male Ferns decided to sacrifice himself, managing only to hurriedly convey such brief words, and thereafter...

”Heheh, found it, found it! Look, it’s trying to run away, a Level Six existence, another big guy, heheh, chase after it!”

Suddenly, within the quiet emptiness, a sinister laughter echoed as the King of Ferns continued retracting his life branches from the temporal rift!

”It’s not like I can’t see it, why rush, this is a time-space tunnel, what use is our will in catching up to it? Just follow the time-space fluctuations you manipulate to find the World Rift slowly, hopefully that world’s surprises are worth it, hmph!” (To be continued.
