Not Being a Trainer This Time

[Steven: You’re right, Team Magma and Team Aqua indeed made a move on the Weather Institute and Stern’s Shipyard.]

Seeing this message, Naoki first sat down on the sofa, then replied back.

[Stranger #1: What was the outcome?]

[Steven: Since we were prepared in advance, we replaced the Submarine Explorer 1 at Stern’s Shipyard and hid the real submarine elsewhere, but things didn’t go well at the Weather Institute.]

[Steven: Members of Team Magma and Team Aqua had infiltrated the Weather Institute disguised as staff. When the Hoenn League Trainers were guarding outside the institute, they took action, and now the information related to the Super Ancient Pokemon has been stolen.]

Seeing this message, Naoki silently thought ”As expected.”

The Hoenn League indeed had information on Groudon and Kyogre.

Whether in games or animations, this has been indirectly hinted to players and viewers to some extent.

In fact, the Hoenn League is constantly monitoring Groudon and Kyogre, and once they show any signs of movement, the Hoenn League can prepare in advance.

Thinking of this, Naoki questioned Steven.

[Stranger #1: What do you think their next move will be?]

Steven did not reply immediately.

He stared at the information on the screen, unable to help but fall into deep thought.

This Stranger #1 knows so much about the history of the Hoenn Region, it’s clear he has done special research.

The Hoenn League did not hide the legends of Groudon and Kyogre, and the Hoenn Region is home to many Ancient Ruins.

It’s not difficult to gather information about the Super Ancient Pokemon from these places, and perhaps Team Magma and Team Aqua learned about Groudon and Kyogre from these sources.

But this Stranger #1 is unaware of one point.

Long, long ago, aside from the legends of the Super Ancient Pokemon, two powerful Treasure Pearls containing Super Ancient Energy also passed down through the ages.

They are the Red Orb and the Blue Orb.

It’s said that whoever obtains them can control Groudon, the Earth God, and Kyogre, the Sea God.

These two significant treasures are now kept at Mt. Pyre, guarded by Ghost Elite Phoebe’s grandparents.

Moving forward, those two organizations are likely to target Mt. Pyre!

Thinking of this, Steven’s heart tightened.

He quickly opened Poke Communications, contacting Ghost Elite Phoebe from the Hoenn Region, urging her to rush to Mt. Pyre as soon as possible to guard the important treasures, and that he would be heading there afterward as well.

Steven walked out of the house, went outside, and dialed a number on his phone.

Soon, a private plane marked with the Devon Company emblem slowly landed in front of Steven.

Steven boarded the plane and then contacted Stranger #1.

[Steven: I guessed their next plan, and I’m heading there now.]

Seeing this reply, Naoki raised an eyebrow. Steven must be talking about the two Orbs on Mt. Pyre, right?

The Red Orb and the Blue Orb, through them one can awaken Groudon and Kyogre.

And the Super Ancient Energy within the Orbs can trigger Primal Reversion, restoring those two Pokemon to their original forms.

[Stranger #1: Wishing you a successful operation.]

Naoki replied.

From Steven’s side, there were no more messages.

Naoki was not in a hurry; he made a cup of black tea and patiently waited in the living room.

Time ticked by, and during this period, Naoki received a thank-you text from Lono.

In the text, Lono said she was very grateful to Dragonite for taking her home and had sent a small gift back to the ranch with Dragonite.

Looking at the photo of the Sunny Day Doll smiling, Naoki couldn’t help but smile.

Once Dragonite returned to the ranch, he hung the Sunny Day Doll under the eaves with the other Pokemon in the ranch.

At 10 p.m., there was finally news from Steven’s side.

[Steven: Everything went smoothly; we successfully thwarted Team Magma and Team Aqua’s plan, thanks to a few Pokemon that suddenly appeared.]

Seeing this response, Naoki was slightly taken aback.

[Stranger #1: What Pokemon?]

[Steven: It was a Teddiursa, a Legendary Pokemon Zapdos, and another Pokemon that looks like a cat with pink fur and blue eyes.]

Naoki: ”?”

Isn’t that the Heroic Expedition Team?

Meanwhile, in the Hoenn Region, at Mt. Pyre.

Watching those three Pokemon turn away, Steven was greatly relieved.

The situation had been extremely dangerous just now.

When he and Phoebe arrived here, Team Magma and Team Aqua were engaged in a fight, seemingly to snatch the two Orbs and to prevent the other side from obtaining them.

But when they arrived, Team Magma and Team Aqua decisively chose to join forces and even took Phoebe’s grandparents hostage.

But luckily, at the critical moment, those three peculiar Pokemon passed by. The pink Pokemon used Psychic to rescue the two elderly hostages.

Taking advantage of the situation, they launched an attack, capturing all the Team Magma and Team Aqua members.

”Where on earth did those three Pokemon come from?”

With the crisis averted, Ghost Elite Phoebe curiously watched the departing backs of those three Pokemon.

What’s more interesting, the Zapdos had a satchel hanging around its neck.
