After lunch, Leon couldn’t wait to have a Pokemon battle with Naoki.

”Alright,” Naoki nodded, leading him to the battlefield in the pasture.

Some Pokemon attracted by the battle also gathered around, cheering for Koraidon.

Geeta also stood aside, hands behind her back, watching the two on the field with anticipation.

”Do you want a double or a single battle?” Naoki asked with a smile.

Koraidon walked onto the battlefield, ready for action, while Flutter Mane quietly blended in with the crowd of Pokemon to watch the upcoming battle.

”Let’s have a single battle this time!” Leon’s eyes were filled with excitement, ”We’ll try double battles next time!”

Since Koraidon was Naoki’s strongest Pokemon, he would use his strongest Pokemon to battle as well, to make it thrilling!

”No problem,” Naoki smiled faintly.

Leon took out a Poke Ball from his waist, and with a flash of white light, a Charizard, impeccably trained and full of power, appeared on the battlefield.

The flames on its tail burned intensely, indicating that this Charizard was at peak condition.

Naoki observed the state of the Charizard and said, ”Without Dynamax, the battle might not be as exciting!”

Because Leon was at his strongest when he could use Dynamax.

”No worries!” Leon seemed indifferent, ”Dynamax is something you can experience when you come to the Galar Region!”

”I’ll give you a Dynamax Band so Koraidon can undergo Dynamax, and when that happens, I’ll let Charizard Dynamax to battle you!”

Now that he’s the Galar League Champion, he could gift Dynamax Bands to excellent Trainers he favored.

Dynamax Koraidon...

Naoki was instantly intrigued because after Sword and Shield, the Dynamax system wasn’t retained, and this led to the Paldea Region Pokemon being unable to Dynamax.

But that’s just in the game; in reality, all Pokemon in the world could Dynamax, including Koraidon.

The prerequisite was the need for a Dynamax Band and being near an Energy Point.

”Alright,” Naoki was excited to see what a super-sized Koraidon would look like.

Now, it’s time to commence the battle!

The brother Indeedee, with a whistle hanging around its neck, stepped to the edge of the battlefield.

It glanced at the two battle-ready Pokemon and then blew the whistle hard.

”Whew!”

The battle officially began.

Crimson energy slowly flowed from the scales of Koraidon.

In the next moment, the weather changed, the floating white clouds dispersed, revealing a clear blue sky.

A golden sun hung high in the sky, and the sunlight intensified!

Leon noticed this scene and grew interested.

”Is it the Pokemon’s ability? Amazing, it can actually alter the weather.”

Naoki slightly smiled and instructed, ”Koraidon, use Ancient Power to probe the opponent!”

”Agh-hiss!”

Koraidon stomped the ground fiercely, and a resounding roar spread from beneath its feet, primitive energy quickly flowed, and several stones coalesced beside Koraidon, flying towards Charizard.

However, seeing this, Leon didn’t retreat but advanced, his desire to attack was very strong.

”Charizard, Iron Tail!”

”Roar!”

Charizard roared, wings opened, and its tail was shrouded in a layer of silver light, resembling metal.

Facing the flying stones, Charizard rushed forward, its tail, as hard as steel, swept from left to right, instantly shattering those stones.

”Let’s go!” Leon grinned, ”Charizard, use Dragon Claw!”

Based on his judgment, the Koraidon seemed to be a Dragon+Fire Type Pokemon.

In this case, Koraidon would resist Fire Type moves but be vulnerable to Dragon Type moves.

Of course, even if he’s wrong, it doesn’t matter; this is just a simple probe.

With the command given, Charizard accelerated rapidly towards Koraidon.

Its right claw raised high, purple energy swirling quickly, forming a giant Dragon Claw, striking towards Koraidon.

Koraidon stood still, its wild face calmly watching Charizard.

”Let’s do this too, let’s see whose power is stronger between the two of you.”

Naoki’s voice came from behind, and Koraidon’s aura suddenly began to surge, it swung Dragon Claw, instantly forming a huge Dragon Claw, meeting Charizard head-on.

In the clash of swords and shadows, the two Pokemon collided.

The massive Dragon Claws clashed, releasing a searing energy, subsequently triggering a strong shockwave.

But despite the impact’s power, Koraidon stood firmly and unmoving.

Its golden pupils met Charizard’s.

The wild primal aura instantly swept over, and for a moment, Charizard felt like it was locked onto by a top predator in the ecosystem.

”Agh-hiss...”

Koraidon let out a low growl.

The force in its hand suddenly increased, and then directly sent Charizard flying.

The massive Dragon Claw left several scars on Charizard, its body recoiled, stumbled back, barely stabilizing.
