As soon as they entered the house, they rushed towards the kitchen.

”Vee!”

The leading Flareon caught a whiff of the sweet aroma and loudly asked Naoki what delicious treats he made for them.

Watching the rushing Eevees, Naoki responded with a smile, ”I’ve made lots of desserts you all love. Sister, could you help me take them out from the fridge?”

The sister Indeedee guarding nearby nodded cheerfully.

It went forward to take out the tiramisu and caramel pudding.

The Eevees twitched their little noses, gathering around the desserts, their eyes sparkling with surprise and delight.

”A bunch of little gluttons!”

Naoki glanced at the effects of those desserts and found that most of them improved Pokemon happiness and affection, so he didn’t give it much thought.

Sister Indeedee took a dining knife to the side to help them cut the desserts.

The sweets-loving Alcremie and Pawmo also ran over.

Only a few meat-loving Pokemon were left staring longingly at the scene.

”Raaagh...”

”Rraa...”

”Woo...”

”Mew...”

Finally, Koraidon couldn’t stand it anymore and directly surrounded the kitchen, along with Cyclizar, Flutter Mane, Dragonite, and a Shiny Dratini, looking longingly at Naoki.

Naoki was feeding a slice of apple pie to the Slugma under the stove. Seeing Koraidon and the others’ pitiful looks, he couldn’t help but laugh:

”Are you that hungry?”

”Raaagh!” Koraidon shook its big head, indicating it wasn’t hungry but wanted to be cared for by Naoki like the Eevees were.

”...The Eevees are still babies. You guys are big enough to start your own lives.” Naoki was speechless.

”Raaagh...” Koraidon drooped its head, looking very forlorn.

Cyclizar perked up: ”Rraa!”

It’s not big yet; it’s not even three years old!

The recently hatched Dratini nodded vigorously.

The Dragonite, over a dozen years old, threw away its pride, pretending to be a baby Dragonite, and hugged Naoki, acting spoiled.

”Woo~”

Flutter Mane pondered deeply.

How old was it again? Hmm, that was indeed a question.

Suddenly hugged by Dragonite, Naoki accidentally dropped the spatula from his hand onto the floor, making him break out in a cold sweat.

He started pushing Dragonite’s back to shoo them out: ”All of you, get out; with you causing trouble here, I can’t cook!”

After driving a group of Pokemon to the living room, Naoki returned to the kitchen and started cooking some meat.

Koraidon and the others expressed their sadness over this.

But they soon perked up as the familiar scent of meat wafted from the kitchen!

Seeing this, Sister Indeedee couldn’t help but cover her mouth and chuckle.

Brother Indeedee, meanwhile, was using a vacuum cleaner to clean up the hair shed by the Eevees on the floor.

Summer had arrived, causing the thick fur coat the Eevees grew for winter to start thinning, resulting in a large amount of shedding each day.

When Naoki emerged from the kitchen with the ready dishes, he saw the scene of Pokemon eagerly waiting for a meal in the house.

He called out, and several Pokemon rushed over happily, indulging in today’s dinner.

The Eevees, fully sated and satisfied, were lazily scattered across the living room.

Some were huddled on the same sofa, others sat alone on the floor, licking their fur, while others lounged leisurely on the rocking chair by the fireplace, gently swaying their tails.

Looking at this beautiful scene, Naoki felt a sense of deep contentment in his heart.

He couldn’t resist reaching out to pat Cyclizar on the head and said to them:

”Eat up, eat up, there’s more in the kitchen if it’s not enough!”

Cyclizar responded happily: ”Rraa!”

Naoki had eaten a bit while cooking, so he wasn’t very hungry. He had just been warmed up by the heat from Slugma in the kitchen, so he decided to go outside for some fresh air.

The summer night’s temperature wasn’t as scorching as during the day, and the breeze from Glaseado Mountain was refreshingly cool.

Naoki took out his Rotom Phone to check Poke Communications and replied to a message from Lono.

When he exited the chat interface, he saw that in the Legendary Beast chat group, Giratina was chatting with Mewtwo again.

[Giratina: You should set up a Pokemon Forum account! Compete with me to see who gets more followers!]

[Mewtwo: ...Not interested.]

Naoki: ”...”

If Mewtwo did set up a Pokemon Forum account and became a mega influencer, Team Rocket members would probably all set it as a special follow.

But come to think of it, what kind of hobby was this for Giratina?

Does it want to compare who’s more popular with other Legendary Beasts?

Naoki remembered when Calyrex’s followers surpassed Giratina’s, it kept asking Rotom to take and upload countless photos to its personal page.

All sorts of angles and distances, you name it.

Such a peculiar sense of competitiveness...

And it wasn’t the first time Giratina had invited Mewtwo.

Yet Mewtwo had always shown little interest in Giratina’s invitations from the beginning to the end.

Seeing this, Naoki couldn’t help but chime in.

[Wing King: Giratina, I’ll give you two Rotom Phones. How about you give them to Dialga and Palkia?]

Soon, Giratina responded.

[Giratina: No way! Those two guys can’t join the group!]

Naoki was puzzled.

[Wing King: Why not?]

[Giratina: Hmph, no reason, just no.]

Naoki: ”...”
