Not Being a Trainer This Time

Naoki thought to himself that the sushi shop didn’t even have pots, bowls, or utensils; even if there were employees, they couldn’t open the shop!

”Mii...”

The three Tatsugiri murmured quietly, implying that in that case, they might as well recruit workers later!

It was already noon, and Mewtwo along with other Pokemon who traveled all night hadn’t eaten yet; their stomachs were growling with hunger.

Naoki even heard some Pokemon’s stomachs making rumbling sounds.

Seeing this, Arboliva instantly understood.

Arboliva whispered something to Treecko, and then a few Pokemon ran to the storage warehouse filled with Berries, carrying out various Berries and placing them in front of all the Pokemon.

”Go ahead and eat!”

Naoki smiled and told the group of Pokemon.

Although they were very hungry, the Pokemon didn’t pounce on the pile of Berries like ravenous beasts.

They walked up politely, picked up a Berry with their paws, and happily started eating.

Mewtwo stood still and didn’t move.

Naoki glanced at it and asked, ”Aren’t you eating?”

Mewtwo shook its head, remaining still; it wasn’t very hungry.

”Alright.” Naoki thought carefully, guessing perhaps Mewtwo could replenish its energy through absorbing the natural energy around?

It seems that Legendary Pokemon can do this, not needing to eat specifically.

The group of Pokemon ate lunch joyfully.

After lunch, Naoki took them to explore other parts of the Explorer Team Guild.

Through the woods, there appeared a garden full of Berries ahead.

The group of Pokemon was amazed; there were so many Berries here!

Naoki introduced, ”As you can see, this is the orchard specifically for growing Berries; the Berries you ate today at noon were picked from here.”

”These trees will grow a batch of Berries every so often, so you don’t need to worry about not having enough to eat or running out of Berries.”

Because this is the World Tree, it provides constant energy for the fruit trees, allowing them to bear fruit.

In a sense, the World Tree is perhaps the best place to farm in the entire world.

The group continued forward, passing through the garden, arriving at a spacious farmland region.

This area is located to the north of the Explorer Team Guild, the terrain is flat, the soil is fertile, light is ample, and a small creek runs through beside it.

At the end of the creek sits a watermill, where flour is processed.

Naoki planned to transform this area into farmland for cultivating crops.

Such as rice, wheat, carrots, pumpkins, watermelons, soybeans, and corn.

”Pika, Pikachu!” Pikachu looked around the area, looking at the land ahead, it questioned Naoki.

The Rotom Phone auto-translated Pikachu’s words.

It asked, ”What will this land be used for in the future?”

Naoki answered, ”It will also be used for growing crops.”

”Meow?” Meowth seemed confused; there’s already a big Berry garden over there, what kind of crops will be grown here?

Naoki smiled and said, ”There is more to eat in this world than just Berries; you would get tired of eating only Berries soon, wouldn’t you?”

”So, I plan to plant some other crops here, like rice, wheat, corn, potatoes, etc.”

”Rice can be processed into rice, which is the raw material for fried rice and sushi.”

”Wheat can be milled into flour, which can be used to steam buns or make fluffy, soft, sweet bread.”

”Corn can be ground into cornmeal or turned into popcorn with specific machinery, paired with Alcremie’s cream, making caramel cream-flavored popcorn, with perfectly combined caramel and cream flavors, which must be delicious.”

”Besides, there are carrots, pumpkins, potatoes, and watermelons, each can be made into many delicious dishes.”

Upon hearing Naoki’s words, some Pokemon began to drool.

Mewtwo remained calm, however.

Mewtwo silently listened to Naoki speak, a question arose in its heart.

Can the Pokemon truly, like humans, complete such complicated operations relying only on their strength?

Mewtwo had already figured out Naoki’s intention.

It seems he wants to build this place into a sustainable Pokemon Paradise, where Pokemon of different attributes and species live together.

Guild, Heroic Expedition Team Guild...

”Is it for Mew?” Mewtwo murmured in its heart.

Recalling the delicious snacks made by humans that Mew carried, Mewtwo suddenly thought this human really treated Mew well.

No wonder Mew liked him and chose him.

By comparison, the humans it encountered were hard to describe.

Regardless of the Pokemon’s will, the human scientist who created it tried to use it as a weapon, wanting to exploit it like Giovanni did.

Only the young man named Ash showed Mewtwo another side of human beings.

Mewtwo came to understand that not all humans are greedy, evil, and unscrupulous.

There are still many humans in the world maintaining a kind heart, treating Pokemon sincerely, and even willing to give up their lives to save Pokemon.
