Not Being a Trainer This Time

There’s no doubt, those three Dondozo are surely Tatsugiri’s little brothers.

However, the Water Type Dondozo aren’t very good at moving on land, so after Tatsugiri briefly explained the situation around the World Tree to them, they were sent to the sea within the Dragon’s Holy Sanctuary.

This way, if one day the sushi restaurant runs out of ingredients, the clever Tatsugiri can just head to the sea and stock up together with its little brothers.

Unnoticed by them, time had already come to evening.

Naoki bid farewell to the group of Pokemon.

”I have to head back first. I might come over again in a few days. If there’s anything you don’t understand, you can go ask...”

Before Naoki could finish, he heard Tatsugiri’s response.

”Mii!” (I know, I know, if there’s anything I don’t understand, I’ll ask Slowking!)

Naoki: ”...”

Well, that works too!

He then looked at Mewtwo: ”If there’s any problem you can’t resolve, use the Rotom Phone to contact me. I’ll come over to help then.”

”Alright.” Mewtwo nodded.

Naoki left, and before he did, he looked at Mewtwo standing there, suddenly feeling that Mewtwo now seemed like the chief security officer of the World Tree.

Hmm...

This title indeed suits Mewtwo.

With Mewtwo around, there’s no need to worry about bad guys reaching the World Tree.

Once the World Tree takes to the skies, such a massive tree will certainly attract some human attention.

After all, with satellites hanging in space, a tree the size of the World Tree will surely be noticed immediately.

By then, there might be large numbers of humans forming expedition teams to explore.

This is also a problem.

Moreover, he can’t always keep the World Tree in the Reversed World, otherwise the Pokemon living there won’t see the sun or moon for years.

That would be too depressing.

Even with the presence of a Sunflower, such a small Sunflower cannot possibly illuminate every corner of the World Tree.

Naoki diligently thought of a solution.

So here comes the question, could he ask the Dragonite to create a storm cloud around the World Tree to deter outsiders from approaching?

Or have Mewtwo use its Psychic powers to warp space and artificially create a Secret Realm, preventing others from locating the World Tree from outside?

Thinking of this, Naoki, who had returned to the ranch, sat on the sofa, took out his Rotom Phone, and sent a message to Mewtwo.

Meanwhile, Mewtwo at the World Tree was exploring the functions of the Rotom Phone.

It’s not unfamiliar with human writing. During its time building the high-tech castle on New Island, it had already learned human writing and could even craft programs.

At this moment, Mewtwo opened a webpage and entered some text into the search box.

[Pokemon, why do they exist?]

Though it already knew the answer, Mewtwo was still curious about how humans in this world viewed the question.

Suddenly, a message popped up from the Poke Communications in the background.

It was sent by Naoki, who called himself ”King Wing”.

[King Wing: Hey Mewtwo, can you use your Psychic powers to warp space? The World Tree will return to the real world soon, and such a big commotion is bound to attract human attention, then draw a large group of explorers.

So I want to ask if you could warp the space around the World Tree, creating a Secret Realm so that no one outside can see the World Tree inside.]

Warping space, creating a Secret Realm...

It hadn’t tried before, but Naoki’s words gave it a new idea.

Mewtwo thought of the moves it mastered.

If it could combine Trick Room, Psybeam, and Light Screen, maybe it could achieve this.

First, use Psychic to create a Trick Room, then erect Light Screen, and finally use Psybeam to create an illusion, erasing the World Tree within the space.

In this way, ordinary humans wouldn’t be able to detect the World Tree from outside.

After a moment of calm contemplation, Mewtwo replied.

[Mewtwo: I can give it a try.]

Upon receiving Mewtwo’s answer, Naoki finally felt relieved.

With this, he wouldn’t have to worry about the World Tree becoming a hot tourist spot, flooded by a vast number of visitors.

Even if some humans accidentally stumbled into it, like Trainers similar to Ash, it would just be a fortuitous encounter gifted to them!

If that person had malicious intent...

The completed form of Calyrex riding Spectrier and Glastrier, Giratina lurking in the shadows, Mewtwo with its high intelligence capable of reading and erasing memories.

Once he grows old, he’ll send Gogoat to the World Tree to guard its entrance, just like the Guardian Pillars of the World Tree in the Kanto Region.

Along with Koraidon, Pawmot, Dragonite, and the Dragonite Legion led by the gigantic Dragonite.

To get through the World Tree, they’d first have to defeat the three Gogoat at the entrance, then face attacks from Giratina and Koraidon.

As they continue upwards, Mewtwo and Calyrex would be waiting there.

With these Pokemon teaming up, there should be no one in this world who could conquer the World Tree.

Oh right, there’s also Rayquaza!

Naoki thought of the shiny Rayquaza invited by his Dragonite to the ranch as a guest.

He needed to have a chat with Dragonite and Rayquaza later to see if he could invite it to reside on the World Tree as well, giving the World Tree another layer of protection.
