Not Being a Trainer This Time

Alright! Seeing Professor Oak looking so curious, he must be eager to learn about Giratina too.

Since that’s the case, he might as well take this opportunity to share the legend of Giratina with the two of them.

Naoki invited the two into his living room.

Calyrex isn’t in the living room now; he must have gone to the garden to bask in the sun.

Cynthia and Professor Oak sat down on the sofa, and his sister Indeedee served tea to the guests.

”Giratina...” Naoki uttered the name of Giratina, then organized his thoughts, wondering where to start.

Hearing this, Cynthia was slightly startled, a hint of surprise flashed across her ice-like beauty’s face.

”Does Mr. Naoki know my purpose for coming here?”

Naoki smiled slightly: ”If I’m not mistaken, you must have investigated the connection between Giratina and me, which is why you came to the Paldea Region, hoping to learn some information about it from me, right?”

After all, whether in games or anime, Cynthia’s character has a strong interest in myths and history, often immersing herself in the research of ancient ruins and mythological legends.

”Then I leave it up to you!” Cynthia said politely.

Meanwhile, Professor Oak was already a bit impatient.

Seeing this, Naoki asked: ”Do you know about genes?”

”Genes?”

Both Cynthia and Professor Oak were slightly taken aback.

As a scholar researching Pokemon, Professor Oak has a certain understanding of this field.

Like fossil revival technology, which is made possible by extracting genes from ancient Pokemon.

”Humans and Pokemon both have genes, which are also known as biological blueprints. At the core, they are DNA, containing opposite information. The appearance is like two intertwined chains forming a spiral,” Naoki explained slowly.

Someone like Cyrus of Team Galactic used this principle to create the red chain to control Dialga and Palkia.

”The chain-like blueprint can restore to its original shape even if one end is damaged by copying the other end. You understand what I’m trying to express?” Naoki asked.

Professor Oak was thoughtful, and Cynthia also looked pensive.

”Time flows in the real world, where spatial structures tend to stabilize. But behind this world, where there is no time flow, space is unstable, only Giratina exists.”

Upon hearing this, Professor Oak immediately understood Naoki’s meaning.

He exclaimed: ”Does this mean the other world and the world we live in are like the genes of a living being, supporting each other to prevent disappearance?”

Naoki nodded: ”Exactly, just as Dialga is the embodiment of time and Palkia embodies space, Giratina is the embodiment of the Reversed World. It controls the entire Reversed World, with both worlds entangled and dependent on each other. If an issue arises in either, the other world will also be affected.”

Just like in the movie ”Giratina and the Sky Warrior,” where the glacier in the real world is damaged, and the Reversed World subsequently collapses.

”Is it really like this?” Cynthia pondered.

The mural in Celestic Town vaguely records related information.

Above Dialga and Palkia, there seems to be another Pokemon.

Is that Pokemon Giratina?

No... recalling the mural’s content, Cynthia finds that Naoki’s description of Giratina does not match that Pokemon.

Could it mean that above Giratina, Dialga, and Palkia, another Pokemon exists?

Seeing their reactions, Naoki began to talk seriously but nonsensically:

”These are the insights I gathered from my research into the Reversed World and Giratina. These are just my speculations, and the truth may not be like this at all.”

Cynthia came out of her deep thoughts and thanked Naoki: ”Nevertheless, thank you very much for providing the information.”
