Not Being a Trainer This Time

Clefairy, a Fairy Type Pokemon.

It has pink fur covering its body, and its shape resembles a star, with a pair of small wings on its back.

If it evolves into Clefable, those wings will grow larger.

Before the battle started, Professor Oak looked at the Clefairy with great interest.

Perhaps due to his professional habit, Professor Oak smiled and said:

”It’s Clefairy! This kind of Pokemon is quite rare!”

Because Clefairy usually lives quietly in the deep mountains with its companions, it rarely appears in front of humans.

Only on mysterious nights of a full moon do they appear in large numbers and dance under the moon.

Lulu nodded: ”That’s right! I’m so happy to encounter a Clefairy!”

The Clefairy heard the Trainer’s words and also let out a happy cry.

”Clefairy～!”

”Hahaha! It really likes you!” laughed Professor Oak, and asked, ”So you must be ready to start the battle, right?”

Lulu and Clefairy nodded seriously, looking at Naoki and Alcremie on the opposite side, with a glow of determination in their eyes.

”Full of spirit!” Naoki said with a smile, and indeed, many in the Pokemon World are filled with energy.

”The Pokemon in this battle are Clefairy and Alcremie. The battle rule is 1v1, and only Metronome can be used until one side loses the ability to fight, ending the battle,” Professor Oak briefly explained the rules.

Seeing both sides were ready, he raised his hand high, and then suddenly swung it down: ”Let the battle begin!”

”Clefairy, use Metronome!”

”Alcremie, let’s go too!”

Naoki and Lulu issued their commands simultaneously.

The next moment, the two Pokemon on the field moved their fingers in unison.

Dazzling light gradually enveloped their fingers. Moments later, the Metronome actions ended, and the two Pokemon successfully unleashed their moves.

What will it be?

Professor Oak eagerly looked at the battle field.

Alcremie was the first to move, with a beautiful moon disk appearing behind it, and starry bits floating around, together forming a cosmic scene with a mysterious aura.

The faint moonlight and starlight intertwined, pouring into Alcremie’s body.

”It’s Cosmic Power!” Professor Oak instantly recognized the move.

Cosmic Power enhances a Pokemon’s defense. To successfully use it at the start of the battle, it seems Alcremie’s luck is quite good!

And Clefairy?

Professor Oak turned his head to see Clefairy surrounded by clusters of green leaves.

It’s Razor Leaf!

A Grass Type move; if all hit, the effect is quite good too!

The dense Razor Leaf successfully hit Alcremie, but due to the protection of Cosmic Power, Razor Leaf didn’t cause much damage.

The first round ended; the second round officially began!

”Alcremie, continue with Metronome!” said Naoki.

”Ma-ma!”

Lulu was not to be outdone: ”Clefairy, let’s go too!”

”Clefairy～!”

The two Pokemon’s gazes clashed, sparking intense energy.

Fingers waved again.

This time, Clefairy was the first to unleash its move.

”Bubble Attack, huh?” Professor Oak nodded, it seems this Clefairy is also having good luck today!

Two attacking moves from Metronome so far; if this continues, Alcremie won’t hold on much longer, right?

However, the next second, Professor Oak noticed an anomaly with Alcremie.

Just as the countless bubbles were about to hit Alcremie, a powerful energy suddenly erupted from Alcremie’s body.

The energy surged out, forming a milky white light ball that enveloped Alcremie.

The bubbles hit the light ball, but for some reason, they all shattered and disappeared within the glow!

What move is that?

Professor Oak closely watched Alcremie’s transformation, was it Aura Sphere of the Fighting Type, or Light Screen of the Psychic Type?

”Ma-ma—!” Alcremie seemed to have reached its limit.

The next moment, the light ball flew out from its body, soaring straight into the sky, suspended high above.

This scene left Naoki slightly stunned, unable to immediately discern what move it was.

As a dazzling light flashed through, countless light bullets burst out from the light ball, the scene resembling fireworks, executing a wide-ranging strike below.

”Rumble!”

The light bullets smashed into the battle field, instantly creating a large pit.

It was as if a meteor shower had fallen; Clefairy sensed the danger and frantically ran around trying to avoid it.

However, this move was divine judgment of a god, the immense scale making it impossible for Clefairy to dodge.

A light bullet plummeted down, and with a cry of pain, Clefairy rolled its eyes back and lost the ability to fight.

Seeing Clefairy unleash an unprecedented move, Professor Oak looked on, dumbfounded.

Such terrifying power! What move could it be?!

”Judgment,” Naoki’s mind echoed with the name of the move.

The exclusive move of the mythical Creator God Arceus, releasing countless meteor-like light bullets to execute judgment on foes.
