Not Being a Trainer This Time

Professor Oak simply could not contain his excitement.

His hands trembled as he opened the private chat with Calyrex, then sent a message to the other side.

[Professor Oak: Hello, Calyrex! I am Professor Samuel Oak, a scholar among humans specializing in the study of Pokemon. I would love to make friends with you, do you have time? Would you be able to come to Professor Oak’s Research Institute in Pallet Town, Kanto Region? I’ll serve you the finest red tea when you arrive!]

The message sent, Professor Oak looked expectant.

The message he sent to Giratina earlier was like a stone sinking into the sea; many days had passed without a reply.

This made him uncertain if Calyrex would be like Giratina.

Professor Oak took advantage of this time to prepare a cup of instant noodles.

As soon as he returned to the laboratory, he heard notification sounds from his Rotom Phone.

Professor Oak:!!!

He hastily set down the noodles and opened his phone, only to indeed see Calyrex’s reply.

[Farmer: Professor Oak, I have heard of you. I apologize, but I cannot visit your Institute in Pallet Town.]

”Huh?”

Professor Oak felt immediately disappointed.

Yet the next second, he received another message.

[Farmer: However, though I cannot come, you are welcome to visit me. My friend is also eagerly awaiting your arrival.]

Reading this message left Professor Oak completely bewildered.

Calyrex’s friend? Could it be Giratina?

No, impossible, Giratina didn’t know him, not even responding to his message; certainly not anticipating his visit.

Who could it be then?

Was it the human who taught Calyrex how to use the Rotom Phone?

If that’s true, then it must also be who taught Giratina to use the Rotom Phone.

Could Giratina and Calyrex be Pokemon that person captured?

Professor Oak couldn’t imagine what kind of Trainer could capture a Legendary Pokemon like Giratina, living in another dimension.

If the person really is human, then that guy surely isn’t ordinary!

Gazing at the message on the screen, Professor Oak turned to his assistant and said, ”Help me pack my bags, I’m heading to the Paldea Region!”

On February 24th in the year 200 of the League, Professor Oak, filled with anticipation, boarded an airplane bound for the other side of the Earth.

Paldea Region, Porto Marinada Town, Naoki Ranch.

Calyrex looked at the Rotom Phone in front of him and asked, ”Is this enough?”

Naoki nodded, ”That’s right, Professor Oak is the most well-known professor in the Pokemon World. If you receive his help, then your name could spread to every corner of this world.”

Feeling the continuous surge of power within, a gentle smile appeared on Calyrex’s face:

”Actually, I’m already quite content as it is. Such a thing was unimaginable for me a few years ago.”

”But now we’ve achieved it.” Naoki’s eyes burned with determination.

One day, he will make Calyrex’s name renowned in every corner of this world!

Meanwhile, in the Reversed World.

Rotom dashed frantically to report to Giratina: ”Reporting Rotom! Calyrex’s fans have already surpassed yours, Rotom!”

Giratina suddenly opened his blood-red eyes.

How could this be? As the strongest Legendary Pokemon, it should have the most fans! Only then would it match its grand identity!

”Rotom, keep taking pictures!”

Giratina began its operation.
