Not Being a Trainer This Time

Its mood was great, but the tone was still cold, like that lifeless lake in the Reversed World.

”Hmph, I’ll forgive you this time!”

Seeing this, Naoki let out a sigh of relief; it seemed Giratina had listened to him.

Naoki grinned, his mood also brightened, and he made a suggestion to Giratina.

”If someone online insults you in the future, as long as they don’t go overboard, feel free to run over and scare them.”

This not only taught those online trolls a lesson, making them less likely to insult people online but also helped avoid Giratina becoming a global calamity and being jointly attacked.

Though it’s a deity, Giratina is also a Pokemon.

Its emotions come and go quickly, and soon it reconciled with Naoki, forming a closer bond.

After Naoki left the Reversed World, Giratina had Rotom perform an online search.

”Search for what it means for a human to stop their friend from killing.”

Rotom, sweating: ”Searching Roto... found 208 responses Roto.”

Giratina: ”Read them to me!”

”Got it Roto!”

Rotom read aloud word by word.

”When a human stops their friend from killing, it often means they care deeply about this friend Roto.”

”Killing violates League laws. Once such an act is committed, Officer Jenny will lead the police to arrest the perpetrator. If the incident is severe, the International Police will take over Roto.”

”Once caught, the murderer faces life imprisonment or even the death penalty, thus losing their life Roto.”

”As a qualified friend, one would absolutely stop such things from happening, because they don’t want their friend to go down that path of no return Roto.”

”If you have such a friend, cherish them Roto!”

Giratina nodded repeatedly as it listened.

Indeed, Naoki really cares about it, doesn’t he?

Giratina wanted to hear more, so it asked Rotom to continue reading.

As Rotom reached the twenty-eighth response, its voice suddenly paused, then it opened the Pokemon Forum and announced:

”Someone has become your fan Roto!”

Giratina was a bit confused.

”What’s a fan?”

Rotom explained: ”It’s someone who follows you online Roto!”

Then, Rotom explained in detail to Giratina what a fan means.

For instance, humans often develop affection, admiration, and other emotions for a person’s strength, appearance, or talent.

These people regard the one they follow as an idol and can’t help but pursue them.

As it spoke, Rotom opened Giratina’s personal page to check the followers’ information.

However, upon seeing it, Rotom realized something troublesome.

The person was the one who taunted Giratina online!

Giratina noticed Rotom’s pause, squinted its eyes, and asked, ”What’s wrong?”

Rotom: ”It’s that human from before Roto! He’s following you Roto!”

Seeing Rotom’s reaction, Giratina quickly pieced things together.

”What does he want?” Giratina asked coldly.

Remembering how that person said it wasn’t a match for Dialga made Giratina very angry.

Rotom began investigating that person’s intentions.

It checked the person’s comment records and posts, then noticed something peculiar.

The post where the person argued with Giratina had been deleted!

Not only that, but there was also a new introduction on the person’s profile.

—[The third deity of the Sinnoh Region, the Shadow Pokemon born alongside Dialga and Palkia.]

Looking at this introduction post, both Rotom and Giratina were bewildered.

Was that Shadow Pokemon... referring to it?

The post seemed newly published, so Rotom opened it to view and repeated the contents to Giratina word by word.

[Shadow Pokemon—Giratina, the Legendary Pokemon hidden behind the world.

It’s said that it was born in this world at the same time as Dialga and Palkia, with Dialga ruling over time and Palkia over space.

And Giratina went to the backside of the world, overseeing the dark matter there, supporting the reality we live in, maintaining balance.]

In the post, many people from the Sinnoh Region expressed skepticism about the content.

They grew up hearing legends about the God of Time and the God of Space but had never heard of this Pokemon, Giratina.

In response to the skepticism, the post’s owner, Ishihara, who was scared by Giratina, directly shared his encounter from the day before.

Including how he was in a heated argument with a netizen only for that person to trace him to his home...

And that netizen’s identity was the Legendary Pokemon, Giratina.

During this time, as a forum moderator discussing the history and Legendary Pokemon of the Sinnoh Region, Ishihara’s posts attracted many enthusiasts, earning him over a thousand fans from around the world.

Now, seeing this reply, this group of netizens responded with a series of questions, replying below:

”Is this fake? Can Pokemon go online?”

”Is it made up for attention? That’s too fake, right?”

”I don’t believe Pokemon use Rotom Phones to surf the internet.”

”Don’t be so certain, someone upstairs, my Oranguru even plays 3ds fighting games with me... and I’ve never won a match against it.”
