Chapter 446: Chapter 269: Sky Island Development (4000)_2

”Then I’ll leave it to you.” Giratina felt more and more at ease. Finally, it added modestly, ”Thank you, human. I will remember everything you have done for me.”

Naoki: ”...”

Doesn’t Giratina still think the effects of the meal haven’t worn off?

Oh my gosh, this is so awkward!

If I expose it now, Giratina might get embarrassed and angry, and give me a swipe.

After pondering for a moment, Naoki ultimately decided to pretend he hadn’t seen anything.

He rode Koraidon to the recently planted Pecha Berry tree on that Sky Island, then buried a layer of grass seeds in the land that Diglett had tilled.

Then, Calyrex activated its ability.

The next moment, the broken Sky Island was covered with a touch of greenery, transforming into a vibrant scene.

The first Sky Island was completed.

Naoki named it the Initial Sky Island. He looked around, then his gaze settled on another, larger Sky Island above, which had a waterfall.

”Let’s go there!” he mounted Koraidon.

”A-ga-sii!”

Koraidon leaped gently and landed on that Sky Island with Naoki.

Naoki first surveyed the terrain and then said to Diglett, ”I’ll leave this to you as well!”

”Squeak squeak!” Diglett squealed happily and continued its work on the island’s construction.

For this island, Naoki planned to cultivate an apple-themed Sky Island, with lush apple trees bearing large, rosy apples.

If Giratina ever feels like a snack, it can come to this island and have a red apple.

The waterfall on the island tumbled down, forming a clear pool.

The water rippled, reflecting the real world on its surface.

Naoki looked at the water and thought that Giratina might be peeking at the real world through places like this.

What might it be watching?

The sunlight, flowers, and trees of the real world?

Seeing these things, what might Giratina be thinking?

Naoki glanced at Giratina, only to see it innocently watching Diglett till the land.

Naoki couldn’t help but smile, thinking that, in a way, this legendary Pokemon, living in solitude, must have a worldview and experiences similar to a human child.

So, it’s curious about Diglett’s land-tilling work.

Soon, Diglett had tilled most of the island.

Naoki and Koraidon brought apple saplings, planting them across the island, and sprinkled grass and flower seeds on the land.

Finally, Calyrex activated its power again.

With their teamwork, the Sky Island was renewed in the blink of an eye.

From its formerly ruined and desolate state, it became lush and vibrant.

The entire Sky Island’s ground was covered by green grass, with small yellow flowers blooming in the grass.

Robust apple trees formed a flourishing apple garden, with large, round red apples hanging from the trees.

Naoki looked down, and the information about these apples surfaced in his mind.

[Sweet Apple: A delicious sweet apple, influenced by Calyrex’s power, which erased the bad traits, allowing it to bring a taste of happiness to those who eat it.]

[Apple Tree (Eternal): A normal apple tree, influenced by antimatter, allowing it to maintain this appearance indefinitely, never withering, never growing, never aging.]

”Indeed, even in the Reversed World, the apple trees maintain their eternal state,” Naoki murmured.

He stepped forward, picked a few red apples, gave one to Calyrex, tossed one to Giratina, and hand-fed the apples to Koraidon and Diglett.

The tossed apple, unaffected by gravity, gradually floated in front of Giratina.

Giratina gazed at the rosy apple, opened its mouth, stretched out its head, and took a big bite.

In the next moment, it felt a burst of sweet and tasty juice explode in its mouth.

Giratina’s eyes lit up, its voice filled with joy and delight: ”Delicious!”

”As long as you like it,” Naoki smiled slightly.

And just then, not far away, the apple-eating Diglett seemed to have discovered something and suddenly let out a puzzled cry.

”Squeak squeak?”

”What’s wrong?” Naoki looked at Diglett and followed its gaze, soon spotting a large, dark mushroom under the dark and damp waterfall.

This is...

Naoki paused, and in the next second, information about the mushroom emerged in his mind.

[Destruction Mushroom: A unique ingredient, a mushroom growing from dark, damp corners, filled with destructive forces and antimatter, usable in cooking, but if brought to the real world...]

What is this?

Staring at the dark mushroom, Naoki suddenly felt it resembled the Doom-shroom from Plants vs. Zombies.

Oh no, will it explode?

Calyrex and Koraidon were also drawn to the mushroom.

With just one glance, Calyrex saw through the mushroom’s essence: ”I sense it contains a force akin to this realm.”

”We’ll make it into mushroom soup later,” Naoki stepped forward, picked it, and kept it well, knowing from past experience that it could possibly be a potent cooking ingredient.

The Pokemon had no objections.
