Not Being a Trainer This Time

Chapter 429: Chapter 263: Winter Tea Party (5k)_2

Naoki remembered that Calyrex is also a Grass Type Pokemon, so wouldn’t that mean that the Grassy Seed and Green Grass Cake he developed earlier are also effective for Calyrex?

The Grassy Seed can help Calyrex comprehend Grass Type Moves and increase the Grass Type Energy within its body.

While the Green Grass Cake can cause Calyrex’s Grass Energy to mutate, allowing crops to undergo mutations during cultivation.

For example, the gigantic watermelon that was birthed earlier...

Besides that, there’s also the World Tree on the farm that needs a hundred thousand years to grow.

Naoki wondered if Calyrex’s power could accelerate its growth.

Naoki’s heart was stirred, but it was already late, and these things could only be done in the future.

Next, he had a lot of work to do.

Such as building individual stables for Spectrier and Glastrier,

and finding suitable land on the farm to use the power of Calyrex and the two horses to create special Snow Field and Ghost Field there.

To grow the Shaderoot Carrot and Iceroot Carrot that Spectrier and Glastrier love to eat the most.

While pondering, the sound of the alarm clock came from the kitchen.

Naoki quickly stepped forward to turn off the alarm, turn off the stove, and took out the steamed Grassy Seed.

He called Koraidon over and handed some of the Grassy Seed to it: ”Help me deliver these Grassy Seeds to Gogoat and the others!”

”Ahgasi!”

Koraidon happily agreed, holding the basket of Grassy Seed, and went out the door.

Meanwhile, Naoki took two plump and soft Grassy Seeds and brought them to Calyrex, asking, ”Want to try? This food is specially developed by me and is very suitable for Grass Type Pokemon to eat.”

Upon hearing this, Calyrex lowered its head to look at the seed placed on the white porcelain plate.

The next second, one of the Grassy Seeds emitted a blue light.

Covered in light, the Grassy Seed floated into the air and hovered before Calyrex.

Calyrex reached out to catch it, then opened its mouth and took a gentle bite.

After chewing slightly, the King of Bountiful Harvests immediately opened its eyes in disbelief.

This food... actually contains a trace of faint energy!

Was it a hallucination?

Calyrex took another taste.

No, it wasn’t a hallucination.

It clearly felt a trace of faint Natural Energy merging into its body!

But, how can this be?!

Calyrex immediately cast an inquisitive glance at its little follower.

Upon seeing this, Naoki knew that Calyrex had sensed the effect of the Grassy Seed.

He grinned and asked, ”You felt it, didn’t you?”

Calyrex nodded slightly: ”I felt a trace of faint Natural Energy within it. This power... where does it come from? No, from your look, you’ve known about this all along.”

Naoki nodded: ”Because this is my ability, to tap the potential of food and give them all sorts of magical effects, including but not limited to replenishing energy, healing injuries, and comprehending moves.”

Upon hearing this, Calyrex was slightly startled but soon accepted it.

”Truly worthy of being my follower! To have such power, you are chosen by nature. I am truly proud of you!”

Naoki: ”...”

Isn’t that a bit exaggerated?

Calyrex seemed to have misunderstood something, but he didn’t know where this ability to create culinary wonders came from.

Explanations would be complicated, so Naoki could only respond with a smile.

At this moment, Koraidon returned with the Grassy Seed.

Naoki took the basket from its hands and went back to the kitchen to clean the dishes.

After finishing, he couldn’t help but yawn.

After days of traveling, Naoki felt a bit tired. When he glanced at the time, it was already nine o’clock in the evening.

Naoki wanted to Sleep, but before that, he needed to arrange a place for Calyrex to stay.

After thinking for a moment, Naoki asked, ”By the way, do you have any specific requirements for your residence?”

Calyrex understood his intention and shook its head lightly: ”No requirements, you can Sleep first. I want to go outside for a look and will find a place to rest later.”

Since it planned to live here for a long time, Calyrex intended to take a walk outside to learn about the situation and environment near the farm.

”Alright, if there’s anything, feel free to call me anytime,” Naoki said.

Calyrex nodded gladly.

Seeing this, Naoki bid it farewell and waved to the other Pokemon:

”I’m going to Sleep, you guys can continue playing here!”

”Ahgasi!”

Resting on the carpet, Koraidon immediately followed.

Naoki glanced around but didn’t see Pawmot, guessing it might be playing with its friends on the second floor, so he gave up on the idea of taking it to Sleep. Instead, he turned and went back to his bedroom with the postcards and items sent by Teddiursa.

He placed those letters beside the bed and then went to the bathroom to wash up.

After Naoki left, Calyrex’s form flickered, and it appeared outside the house.

It Levitate in the night sky, overlooking the farm below, enveloped in a serene and peaceful atmosphere.

It saw Spectrier, ghost-like in form, hiding in the shadows, and Glastrier snorting on the grass;

Saw the brightly lit, bustling little house, where a group of Pokemon gathered, joyfully drinking water and chatting;

Saw transparent glass buildings full of beautiful blooming flowers, where several Bug Type Pokemon were resting with their eyes closed;
