Not Being a Trainer This Time

Chapter 410: Chapter 255: Sword and Shield (4k)

Urshifu, huh! There are wild Urshifu in the Galar Region!

That’s a Tier Two legendary Pokémon in the Galar Region!

Naoki gazed at the Urshifu, feeling a tickle in his heart.

That tall, strong body, powerful arms, resolute and reliable gaze, and sleek, soft fur.

What a charming Pokémon!

Naoki, from the Paldea Region, had never seen a live Urshifu before.

Driven by curiosity, he immediately took Koraidon and Calyrex, and after a bit of disguise, snuck into the Pokémon Center.

It seemed the boy was already taken into the emergency room.

The Urshifu was standing in the lobby, anxiously looking in the direction of the emergency room.

Professor Magnolia, sitting on a nearby sofa, looked at it and comforted, ”Don’t worry, the child will definitely be fine.”

Urshifu looked worried, seemingly not comforted at all.

Naoki acted as if he was a Trainer resting at the Pokémon Center. He put inconspicuous sunglasses on Koraidon and Calyrex, casually took a newspaper, and observed the Urshifu.

”Argghh...”

Koraidon felt speechless, knowing Naoki’s attention had again been drawn by a Pokémon.

Calyrex turned its head, looked around through its sunglasses, experiencing this peculiar feeling.

After a while, the light in the emergency room changed from red to green, and Miss Joy came out of the room.

Naoki heard Miss Joy seriously ask, ”What on earth happened here? Where are this child’s parents? Sending him ten minutes later would have been dangerous!”

Speaking, Miss Joy looked at the Urshifu, asking, ”Are you his Pokémon?”

The Urshifu opened its mouth, seemingly wanting to say something, but ultimately remained silent.

Professor Magnolia smiled, looking at the Urshifu, saying, ”Alright, the child is already fine.”

Miss Joy was still very angry: ”His parents are truly irresponsible, not coming themselves at such a time, but letting a Pokémon bring him here!”

Upon hearing this, the Urshifu’s mood sank, and it lowered its head in dejection.

Miss Joy looked at this Pokémon, sighed, and said, ”The child is already fine. If you’re worried, you can go to the ward to see him first.”

Upon hearing this, the Urshifu hurriedly went in.

Naoki watched all of this with interest.

If what he heard on the street just now was true, then what Miss Joy said would definitely be stabbing this Urshifu right in the heart.

It must feel very guilty, right?

Just then, Miss Joy noticed them sitting in the corner and adjusted her emotions, stepping forward to ask, ”Hello, can I help you?”

Before even finishing her sentence, Miss Joy saw Calyrex wearing sunglasses and couldn’t help but exclaim, ”What... what a big head!”

Calyrex: ”...”

Naoki: ”...” How impolite!

After speaking, Miss Joy hurriedly covered her mouth, realizing she had said her thoughts out loud, and quickly apologized: ”I’m really very sorry!”

Calyrex looked helplessly: ”It’s fine, I don’t blame you.”

However, to Miss Joy, Calyrex’s growl sounded like, ”Crown, moo-gee-gee!”

Naoki translated, ”He says he forgives you.”

Miss Joy looked apologetic, and after learning they were here to rest at the Pokémon Center, she personally provided them with three cups of nutritious Berry Juice.

”This Berry Juice can restore a Pokémon’s energy and is very effective on Pokémon of all attributes!” Miss Joy smiled.

Naoki inserted straws for Koraidon and Calyrex, handed them respectively, and then said to Miss Joy, ”Another cup, please.”

With that, he released Cyclizar.

Miss Joy understood, so she went to make another cup of Berry Juice.

A few Pokémon happily drank, and Calyrex also took the Berry Juice with his hand, holding the cup and sipping through the straw.

From its expression, the Berry Juice seemed quite tasty.

After finishing a whole cup, Calyrex remarked, ”Indeed delicious, the temperature on the snowy plains is too low and not conducive to the growth of fruit trees, I haven’t had this kind of drink for a long time.”

Naoki laughed, saying, ”I grow many Berry trees on my ranch, so you can drink as much as you want when we go back.”

Calyrex laughed heartily: ”I am no longer a child, you don’t need to use that sort of tone one speaks to children with me, your intention, I understand.”

Though, it didn’t really mind, actually.

Naoki felt a bit awkward: ”Haha, I’m just used to speaking like this with Koraidon and them.”

At this moment, the Urshifu ran out of the room, decisively turned, and left the Pokémon Center.

Upon seeing this, Naoki was a little stunned.

Where is it going?

Calyrex was also quite curious, and it suggested, ”Shall we follow it and have a look?”

Naoki nodded and took a few Pokémon to follow along.

They watched as the Urshifu went all the way forward, walking several streets without stopping, until it completely left Wedgehurst Town.

Seeing this, Naoki was dumbfounded: ”Is it trying to run away?”

At this moment, the Urshifu suddenly stopped up ahead.
