Not Being a Trainer This Time

Chapter 425: Chapter 261: Returning Fully Loaded (Part 3)

It withdrew its gaze from the Galar Land, turned around, and began to look forward to the unfamiliar life of a farmer.

Paldea is its new home, but it will never forget Galar.

*

It takes three days to return to the Paldea Region from the Galar Region.

Naoki had been rushing around during this trip, but tonight he finally had some rare free time.

He didn’t wander around on the deck but instead took a package of tea provided for travelers from the ship’s restaurant back to his cabin.

The night sea was very calm, with occasional ripples on the blue sea, appearing deep and mysterious under the full moon.

The cabin was not large, about twenty to thirty square meters, with a bed, a nightstand next to the bed, and a desk under the porthole for travelers to read and write.

Naoki released all the Pokemon except Glastrier and Spectrier.

Calyrex’s feet left the ground, levitating above the floor.

Cyclizar was curiously fiddling with a ship ornament.

”Aga-sis...”

Koraidon lay on the floor yawning, seemingly a bit sleepy.

Noticing this scene, Naoki casually said, ”If you’re sleepy, go ahead and sleep!”

But as soon as he said this, Koraidon was no longer sleepy.

”Aga-sis~”

It energetically stood up, walked over to Calyrex, and watched Naoki’s actions with it.

Naoki was brewing tea.

To be precise, he was brewing tea for Sinistea and Polteageist.

These two Pokemon are very magical; they can infuse their power into red tea, transforming it into a part of their bodies.

As the tea leaves steeped, the unique aroma of red tea spread throughout the room.

[Red Tea (C): Red tea brewed with lower quality tea leaves; it may taste slightly bitter.

Cooking Effect: Refreshing lv1, upon drinking, humans and Pokemon will be awakened by the bitterness, with no drowsiness.

Evaluation: Your cooking method enhanced the bitterness of the red tea, giving normal red tea the capability of coffee, a truly unexpected result.]

Naoki: ”...”

Divine Refreshing...

He originally intended to brew a cup of red tea for Sinistea and Polteageist to taste to improve their relationship.

But now, looking at the cup of red tea, he suddenly felt it might not be very suitable for them to drink.

Looking up, Polteageist was staring at the cup of red tea, and as for Sinistea... Naoki didn’t know where its eyes were.

The air was suddenly quite awkward.

Naoki tentatively asked, ”How do you find the taste?”

Sinistea floated back a bit, clearly not fond of the taste of this red tea.

While Polteageist cautiously leaned over.

Its internal red tea had been used up quite a bit in the warehouse before, now it needed to replenish some to increase its volume.

Seeing Polteageist’s reaction, Naoki was a bit surprised.

Could it be that this Polteageist prefers bitter red tea over sweet red tea?

He thought for a moment and pushed the red tea over.

Although hesitant, Polteageist still reached out from the pot, holding the cup with its small hands, and slowly poured it into the pot.

Soon, the small cup of red tea ran low.

Polteageist’s originally somewhat petite body was rapidly changing.

It was integrating its power into the red tea to increase its volume!

”So amazing!” Naoki watched this scene with great interest.

He remembered the Pokédex mentioning that red tea infused with Polteageist’s power has a unique flavor and aroma, with a very distinctive taste and fragrance.

However, at that moment, the originally normal-spirited Polteageist suddenly became visibly low-spirited.

Its expression seemed downtrodden, as if it had tasted the bitterness of life.

”Phew...”

The small person of Polteageist sighed depressively, then with a bitter face stayed in the pot, laying its arms on the pot rim, supporting its almost invisible chin with its small hands, and gazing at the tabletop in a pose of deep contemplation.

However, there wasn’t a thoughtful expression on its face, but one full of troubling matters, occasionally letting out a sorrowful sigh.

Naoki: ?

Calyrex was also quite surprised, and curiously asked, ”What is the reason?”

Naoki: ”...Don’t know.”

He tried hard to remember the relevant information about the Pokemon Polteageist.

Soon, an incredible hypothesis formed in his mind.

That is, Polteageist’s temperament may change due to the flavor of the tea in the pot!
