Chapter 409: Chapter 254: Father and Son (4k)_2

Naoki nodded, ”Yes.”

”Wow, so strong!” Mark’s eyes widened.

As a League employee and Trainer, he knew very well that the Galar Region didn’t have such Pokemon, which meant that this powerful Trainer in front of him came from another region!

As Mark led the way for a few people, he turned around and asked, ”May I ask, where are you from?”

Naoki smiled, ”Of course, I’m from Paldea, and I’ve just arrived in the Galar Region not long ago.”

Paldea! Mark instantly perked up.

That meant these two Pokemon he had never seen before were also Pokemon from the Paldea Region!

Seeing their spirited demeanor, it was obvious they were perfectly raised.

Mark couldn’t help but praise, ”Amazing! You must be a really impressive Trainer, right?”

Naoki: ”...” Here we go again.

He smiled politely, ”No, actually I’m just a farmer.”

”What?” Mark was dumbfounded, ”A farmer? How is that possible?”

What kind of farmer could raise such powerful Pokemon?

Seeing he didn’t believe it, Naoki was utterly helpless.

Why does no one want to believe he’s really just a farmer from the countryside?

Mark, not knowing what he imagined, kept glancing at him while walking, and after a while, he suddenly said, ”I get it!”

Naoki: ”?”

What do you know?

At that moment, they reached their destination.

It was an area surrounded by cliffs, with various police cars and helicopters parked on the snowfield.

Naoki saw some police cars and helicopters engulfed in flames, suggesting a big explosion had occurred not long ago.

Looking at this scene, Mark said, ”These were all caused by that mysterious creature. It could send a car flying with one punch. Because of it, we dispatched a lot of people...”

At this time, a group of people gathered on the snowfield had already noticed their arrival.

Mark immediately brought Snorlax to report the situation.

The other people all turned their eyes towards Naoki and the Koraidon and Calyrex beside him.

Seeing this scene, Naoki initially thought someone might recognize Calyrex.

But it turned out no one did.

Calyrex looked at the seemingly bottomless cave not far away, and said, ”I sense that the source of the power comes from this cave. It seems to be connected to another world unknown to us.”

Naoki was slightly taken aback and then realized Calyrex was likely referring to the aura of the Ultra Wormhole, and that world should be the homeland of the Ultra Beasts, Ultra Space.

”However, it’s very weak now and will soon disappear,” Calyrex said.

Upon hearing this, Buzzwole began to panic a little.

”Phew Mash?!”

If it disappears, won’t it never be able to go back?!

Naoki was utterly speechless, ”Knowing you can’t go back, why did you come over?”

Buzzwole: ”Phew Mash...” (Curiosity...)

Naoki: ”...” Okay, it seemed this Buzzwole came to this world out of curiosity.

The only regret was that it wasn’t Poipole who came; otherwise, he definitely would’ve taken it home.

As for why not catch Buzzwole...

Naoki silently glanced at it; although Buzzwole was all muscle, its appearance couldn’t compare with Incineroar or Urshifu of the same type.

And it might even take a chance to suck on the chickens raised by Pawmo in the ranch when he wasn’t paying attention.

Forget it, Naoki thought.

Just then, Mark had finished reporting.

He ran back and said to Naoki, ”Alright, now we can send it back underground!”

Naoki was a bit puzzled, ”What underground?”

Mark looked bewildered, ”Isn’t this Pokemon from the depths of the underground?”

Naoki: ”...” It seemed the Galar League still didn’t know about the Ultra Wormhole.

Since that was the case, he wouldn’t explain further.

Watching Buzzwole leave behind the others, he and Calyrex stood there for a while.

It was unclear how long had passed when Calyrex finally spoke, ”I sense that the power has already disappeared.”

Naoki nodded, indicating that the Ultra Wormhole should be closed.

And at this moment, a group of Galar League staff rushed out of the cave in shock.

”It’s gone!”

”That muscular Pokemon ran into a glowing hole and disappeared!”

”So it’s not a Pokemon from the underground, but one from another world?”

Watching this scene, Naoki said to Calyrex, ”Let’s go too; the train station should be operational again by now.”

Calyrex nodded slightly.

He rode on Spectrier and followed Koraidon, leaving the place and heading towards the distant snowfield.

When Mark and others came to their senses, intending to thank the Trainer, they found that he had already left.

These Galar people, unaware of what they had missed, could only mutter to themselves:

”It’s strange that this Pokemon would ride another Pokemon into battle.”

”However, from your report, that Pokemon seems to be quite powerful, defeating the dangerous Pokemon in one move.”

”To be able to catch such a Pokemon, that Paldean must be a very formidable Trainer, right? What a pity, it would have been great to have a chance to befriend him.”

A day later, at Wedgehurst Town.

This was a quiet little town located in the suburbs.

Since Calyrex wanted to go to Slumbering Weald to find Zacian and Zamazenta, Naoki and he got off at the Wedgehurst Town train station.

They planned to head south from here to Postwick Town, with Slumbering Weald right next to it.

Naoki walked the streets with Koraidon and Calyrex, while Spectrier and Glastrier were stored in Poke Balls.

Koraidon looked around curiously, seemingly fascinated by everything here.

Calyrex also looked around at all the surroundings.

While looking, he said to Naoki, ”Compared to the world I am familiar with, a lot has indeed changed.”

”Yeah!”

Naoki, who had done some research on the ancient history of the Pokemon World, couldn’t help but lament as well:

”Back in the day, humans still treated Pokemon as monsters and slaves, but now with the development of science, Pokemon have fully integrated into human life.”

Calyrex gently nodded, and a smile appeared on his face, ”I like the world as it is now.”

Naoki grinned, ”I like it too.”

At this moment, Koraidon seemed to suddenly discover something.

It widened its eyes and looked into the distance, ”Ah-ga-skee!”

and saw a group of people gathered on the road some distance away, seemingly up to something.

”Huh?”

Naoki immediately transformed into a curious onlooker and moved closer to see what was happening.

They pushed through the crowd and saw an Urshifu standing on the street!

The Urshifu was holding a few-year-old boy in its arms, looking very anxious.

”Ah-ga-skee!” (Let me see!)

Koraidon wanted to squeeze in for a better look as well.

And just then, an elderly woman with a full head of silver hair,

and a kind face walked up to the Urshifu’s side.

Naoki immediately recognized her identity.

She was Professor Magnolia, responsible for Dynamax research in the Galar Region!

Professor Magnolia first checked on the condition of the boy in Urshifu’s arms, then asked Urshifu:

”Are you his Pokemon? The child has a fever and it’s severe. We must get to a hospital immediately!”

Then, Naoki heard the Urshifu respond, ”Aoo!” (No, I’m his dad!)

Hearing this, Naoki was slightly stunned.

What was that about?

But before he could gather more information, the Urshifu carried the boy away, following Professor Magnolia.

Looking at their leaving direction, it seemed they were heading toward the Pokemon Center.

The onlookers gradually dispersed, but several still cast curious glances at him, Calyrex, and Koraidon.

Naoki asked Calyrex and Koraidon in confusion, ”Did you guys hear what that Pokemon just said?”

Did he mishear it?

Koraidon nodded its big head repeatedly, ”Ah-ga-skee!” (Heard it clearly!)

Calyrex gently nodded as well, looking at the back of the Urshifu, he replied, ”It regards that human boy as its child.”

Oh my god!

Naoki immediately thought of Zarude and Coco.

No way?

Could it be that the boy was also raised by this Urshifu?
