Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Just as the three women were starting to worry, Zhao Rong began to blow a rhythmic tune on the whistle in his mouth. Then, he smiled at them and said, ”Lili, Yu Lan, Xuelian, watch closely. I’m about to use this missile disruptor to make that rain of missiles reverse course and bombard the Avatars’ space fortress.”

Hearing this, Lili said incredulously, ”Zhao Rong, is that whistle in your mouth really so miraculous?”

Yu Lan also found it hard to believe. ”Making interceptor missiles fly in the opposite direction just by whistling? Isn’t that a bit too much like science fiction?”

Xuelian was even more skeptical of the so-called missile disruptor. ”Zhao Rong, I just can’t see how blowing a whistle could make those missiles obey you and attack their own masters.”

However, before the three women could finish speaking, the missiles, influenced by the whistle’s sound, all turned around and began bombarding the Avatars’ space fortress. The missiles rained down on the structure, and the women started to cheer. But in the next moment, the scene that unfolded before them was completely unexpected. Although there was a huge number of missiles and their explosive power was immense, they had no effect whatsoever. To everyone’s astonishment, the fortress was so impregnable that the barrage didn’t leave so much as a scratch.

When Lili saw how unbelievably durable the space fortress was, she swallowed hard and exclaimed in disbelief, ”I can’t even imagine what kind of metal the Avatars used to build their fortress. It’s absolutely impregnable, incredibly solid...”

Yu Lan shook her head and lamented, ”If thousands upon thousands of missiles can’t do a thing to the Avatars’ space fortress, how could Zhao Rong’s single, tiny Cosmic Black Hole Explosion Bomb possibly destroy it? That seems impossible...”

Xuelian was simply stunned by the fortress’s resilience. She staggered back a step, nearly falling over as she said, ”I used to think the most durable structure in the world was the Maginot Line, but I never imagined the Avatars’ space fortress would be the most formidable bastion in existence. It’s truly indestructible...”

The assistant chimed in, adding to the growing doubt, ”Since the Avatars’ own missiles can’t even dent their fortress, there’s no way Zhao Rong’s little grenade can destroy it. I think we should find a way to get out of here and run for our lives. If we keep wasting time with him, we’re all going to die!”

But before the assistant could finish, Zhao Rong just laughed. ”Lili, Yu Lan, Xuelian, Assistant, watch carefully,” he said to the group. ”The Cosmic Black Hole Explosion Bomb I just threw is about to reach the Avatars’ space fortress, and it’s going to completely obliterate it.”

At that very moment, the Avatars inside the space fortress fell into despair. They watched as the Cosmic Black Hole Explosion Bomb, launched by Zhao Rong, drew closer, realizing they were utterly powerless to intercept it.

The Avatar King wailed, tears streaming down his face. ”Ever since we came to this primitive world of Earth from our home planet, we have swept through every obstacle without meeting a single worthy opponent. But just as we were on the verge of ruling the world, annihilating humanity, and dominating the universe, we ran into these five human teenagers. What’s even more unbelievable is that they’ve mastered core technologies and possess such lethal weapons... I think we’re well and truly finished this time...”

The Avatar general drew a sword from his waist, preparing to commit ritual suicide as he said in anguish, ”It’s true what they say: there’s always someone better, a sky beyond the sky. I truly believed that when we Avatars arrived in this backward Earth society, we would be the most advanced, most powerful, most incredible civilization. I never imagined that five such formidable humans were hiding among them. And of those five, that one named Zhao Rong... he is simply terrifying. You could say he is destroying our entire race single-handedly. One man against thousands upon thousands of us, and he is about to wipe us all out. Brothers, sisters, prepare for death. We will meet again in the next life.”

An Avatar warrior pulled a revolver from his pocket, pressed it to his temple, and said in immense pain, ”The sages of Earth were right: an unjust cause finds little support, while a just cause enjoys abundant aid. We Avatars are nothing but invaders from another world. Now, not only are we about to be annihilated by the people of Earth, but our species is about to be driven to extinction on this planet. This is our retribution...”

Just as the Avatars finished their lamentations, their space fortress erupted in a violent explosion. It was blown into fine powder that dispersed into the air and slowly vanished. All the Avatars living inside that space fortress were instantly incinerated to ash.

When the three women, the assistant, and all the primitives outside witnessed Zhao Rong annihilate the seemingly indestructible, all-powerful, and impregnable Avatar space fortress with a single, small, grenade-like explosive, they all fell to their knees before him.

Lili gazed up at him with pure admiration. ”Zhao Rong, I can’t believe it. You’ve created another miracle...”

Yu Lan looked at him, filled with awe. ”Zhao Rong, you really did it. You wiped out the entire Avatar race all by yourself...”

Xuelian stared at him with a lovesick expression. ”Zhao Rong, you’re the man of every woman’s dreams! The way you threw that bomb... was just unbelievably cool.”

The assistant scurried forward in admiration, hugging Zhao Rong’s leg and beginning to polish his shoes. ”Zhao Rong, after witnessing such dashing heroism, I, your assistant, am willing to shine your shoes for the rest of my life!”

The nearby primitives all prostrated themselves before Zhao Rong in unison and chanted, ”Long live the Emperor! Long may he reign!”

When Zhao Rong heard the primitives calling him emperor, a cold sweat beaded on his forehead. He said in utter shock, ”Everyone, you mustn’t call me that! I am but a mere commoner...”
