Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

When Zhao Rong heard the two European zombies mocking Chinese people for being skinny, small, and unable to withstand a single blow, he flared up with anger. ”You two overgrown corpses, if you have any guts, come fight me one-on-one,” he declared. ”Don’t just stand there running your mouths! We Chinese may not be tall, and we might be relatively thin, but even if we’re skinny, we’re packed with lean muscle!”

Seeing that Zhao Rong was actually going to fight the two zombies alone, Yu Lan, who was trapped in the corner, cried out in alarm, ”Brother Zhao Rong, I think you should just open the Paradise Shopping Cart app! Buy some advanced, high-tech weapon to deal with them. If you fight them one-on-one with your frame, taking on these two behemoths is going to be incredibly tough!”

But Zhao Rong just shook his head. He pulled off his shirt, settled into a fighting stance, and addressed the zombies again. ”Since you mock Chinese people for being small and laugh that we can’t take a hit, then get over here! I’m about to teach you two a lesson.”

At Zhao Rong’s words, the two zombies sneered, released Yu Lan, and started walking toward him. Seeing he had successfully captured their attention, Zhao Rong snapped his fingers at Yu Lan. ”Quick, Yu Lan, get behind me! I’ll protect you.”

When Yu Lan realized the zombies menacing her had left, she scrambled away and hid behind Zhao Rong. ”Brother Zhao Rong, did you just use the ’luring the tiger away from the mountain’ strategy? You drew their attention just to save me!”

Zhao Rong smiled. ”If I didn’t offer to fight them one-on-one and use a little reverse psychology to provoke them, do you think they would have just let you go?”

Hearing his explanation, Yu Lan gave him a big thumbs-up. ”You’re brilliant, Brother Zhao Rong! You saved me with such a simple trick.”

When the two zombies saw that Zhao Rong had used the ’Golden Cicada Shedding Its Shell’ tactic to rescue Yu Lan, they became furious. ”Damn it! We never thought you Chinese people were so cunning! You made us fall right into your trap.”

Zhao Rong stepped forward with a laugh. ”I may have used a little trick to save Yu Lan, but I’m a man of my word. I still intend to fight you two one-on-one.”

At the mention of a duel, the European zombie with the long beard jumped forward. Pointing at Zhao Rong, he boomed, ”Fine! Since you want a one-on-one fight, I’ll be your first opponent!”

As Yu Lan stood to the side, watching Zhao Rong actually prepare to face the tall, muscular zombie, she asked worriedly, ”Brother Zhao Rong, are you really going to fight him alone?”

Zhao Rong quietly took a yellow pill from his pocket. ”Yu Lan, look at this,” he whispered.

Yu Lan looked at the pill in his hand and saw a tiny image of Bruce Lee in his yellow tracksuit, wielding nunchucks. ”Brother Zhao Rong, why is Bruce Lee drawn on this pill?” she asked curiously. ”What kind of pill is it?”

Zhao Rong whispered back, ”You’re not going to believe this, but when I swallow this pill, I’ll instantly transform into Bruce Lee.”

When Yu Lan heard that Zhao Rong could actually become Bruce Lee, she was astonished. ”Brother Zhao Rong, what on earth is that pill in your hand? How can it be so magical? You can really become the kung fu superstar Bruce Lee just by eating it?”

”This pill is called the Dream Come True Pill,” Zhao Rong explained. ”When an ordinary person swallows it, they will instantly become the celebrity they’ve always dreamed of being.”

Hearing this, Yu Lan’s eyes lit up with interest. ”Brother Zhao Rong, can you give me one? One with Marilyn Monroe on it? When I was a little girl, I always dreamed of becoming her. I want to swallow the pill, become Marilyn Monroe, and live out my Hollywood dream, just for a little while!”

At her request, Zhao Rong immediately took another pill from his Magic Ring and handed it to her. ”This one has a portrait of Marilyn Monroe on it. Just eat it, and you’ll instantly become her and realize your dream.”

Before Zhao Rong could even finish his sentence, Yu Lan had already swallowed the pill. In a flash, she transformed into the spitting image of Marilyn Monroe. At the exact same moment, Zhao Rong swallowed his pill and instantly became the kung fu legend, Bruce Lee. The two European zombies across from them were completely dumbfounded, having just witnessed two living people transform before their very eyes.

The zombie in front stared at Zhao Rong. ”What in the world... how did you turn into Bruce Lee? It looks like we’re in for a hell of a fight. Bruce Lee is incredibly formidable, especially his kicking techniques. I have to admit, they’re truly impressive.”

The other zombie behind him gawked at Yu Lan. ”What kind of magic did you use? How could you transform into a Hollywood star, Marilyn Monroe, in an instant?”

Before the second zombie could finish speaking, Yu Lan, now in high heels, charged forward and delivered a swift Descendant Ending Kick, knocking him flat on his back. In that same instant, Zhao Rong, as Bruce Lee, executed a perfect spinning back kick, sending the zombie in front crashing to the ground.

With the two tall, robust European zombies defeated, Zhao Rong and Yu Lan high-fived in celebration. ”To the victor go the spoils! Now let’s grab some rope and tie these two up.”

With that said, they worked together, tightly binding the two European zombies with brown rope before hoisting them up to hang from the eaves.
