Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

When Zhao Rong saw the ten zombies, he instantly became agitated and cursed, ”Dammit! This is the worst timing! Didn’t you see I was just about to kiss the sexiest part of Xuelian’s body? You ten zombies had to show up now, ruining my mood and spoiling my fun...”

At that moment, his assistant stepped forward and volunteered. ”Brother Zhao Rong, leave these ten zombies to me. I’ll handle them for ruining your good time. I’ll make sure these zombies learn the miserable consequences of spoiling your fun.” With that, the assistant picked up a nearby mallet and charged at the ten zombies.

As he charged, he thought to himself:

Since the three beauties easily took care of five zombies just now, the ones in this hospital must be very easy to beat. And I, his assistant, am very clever. When I encounter tough zombies, I definitely don’t attack first. But when I come across easy ones, I make my move. So today, when I realized the zombies in this hospital were easy targets, I decided to take the initiative and exterminate them. This way, I’ll not only impress the three beauties but also leave a good impression on Brother Zhao Rong.

Thinking this, the assistant chuckled to himself.

However, when the assistant charged in and began swinging his mallet, he realized he had been terribly wrong. The zombies in this hospital were not easy to beat at all. In fact, they were incredibly tough and seemingly indestructible; his strikes to their heads didn’t even dislodge a single hair. After an hour of fighting the ten zombies alone, the battle was still at a stalemate. The assistant was now completely exhausted and panting. He stuck his tongue out, looked back at Zhao Rong, and said, ”Brother Zhao Rong, it’s all my fault. I was an idiot to think these zombies would be easy... I had no idea they were this formidable. I don’t think I’m any match for them...”

Meanwhile, Zhao Rong and the three beauties had set up a coal stove and were cooking instant noodles in the back.

Zhao Rong added a sausage to a pot of sour pickle beef noodles and said, ”Just hang on a little longer, Assistant. After we finish cooking and eating these noodles, we’ll come relieve you.”

Miss Lili cracked an egg into a pot of braised beef Master Kong instant noodles. She smiled at the assistant and said, ”Just listen to Brother Zhao Rong. Let me finish cooking these noodles, and we’ll talk after we eat. Look, I added an egg! It smells amazing...”

Yu Lan added a handful of greens to her noodles. Inhaling the aroma, she said to the assistant, ”I love spicy beef noodles the most! Look, the greens I added make it smell awesome! Just hang on for another ten minutes. I’ll come take over after I finish eating.”

Xuelian laughed as she cooked her spicy vermicelli. ”Assistant, you know spicy vermicelli is my favorite! Just let me finish this bowl, and I promise I’ll come help you defeat those ten zombies.”

When the assistant saw Zhao Rong and the three beauties happily enjoying their delicious meal while he was stuck in a bitter struggle against ten zombies, he was filled with regret.

I knew I shouldn’t have tried to act so tough! If I hadn’t been such a show-off, I wouldn’t be stuck here tangled up with these ten zombies while Brother Zhao Rong and the three beauties are over there eating fragrant instant noodles...

About ten minutes later, Zhao Rong and the three beauties, having eaten and drunk their fill, stood up.

”I think relying on melee weapons to deal with these zombies is too much trouble,” Zhao Rong said, sipping a Coke and taking out his phone. ”I’ll just buy a Divine Artifact from the Paradise Shopping Cart to deal with them.”

”Brother Zhao Rong, I think you should buy a grenade launcher,” Miss Lili suggested, sipping her sports drink. ”If any zombie dares to harass us, we can just blast it to smithereens!”

Yu Lan, sipping a Red Bull, let out a satisfied burp. ”I think you should get a Barrett sniper rifle,” she said. ”The moment a zombie appears, we can use it to get a headshot. I’m guessing a zombie without a head can’t cause any more trouble, right?”

”The best weapon against these zombies is definitely an AK-47,” Xuelian advised while sipping an energy drink. ”Its stopping power at close range is just too immense. It wouldn’t even take ten shots to riddle a zombie full of holes.”

Meanwhile, the assistant was still battling the ten zombies with his mallet. He was panting heavily, sweat dripping from his forehead, and he was at his physical limit. ”Brother Zhao Rong, hurry up!” he shouted. ”Buy a Divine Artifact from the Paradise Shopping Cart already! I really can’t hold on any longer!”

Before the assistant could finish speaking, a package fell from the ceiling and landed at Zhao Rong’s feet.

”Watch this,” Zhao Rong said with a smile to the three beauties and the assistant as he opened the package. ”I’m about to take out the Divine Artifact for dealing with these zombies. With this in my hands, I can turn them to dust in a single second.” As he spoke, Zhao Rong took out a Flamethrower from the package.

When the three beauties saw that the so-called Divine Artifact was a Flamethrower, they were so shocked they stumbled to the ground. ”Brother Zhao Rong, we thought you bought some amazing gadget,” they said in disbelief. ”It turns out you just bought a Flamethrower...”

”Brother Zhao Rong, I doubt that thing can even kill one zombie,” Miss Lili said, clearly unimpressed.

Yu Lan shook her head. ”Flamethrowers are for dealing with enemies who are stubbornly resisting from inside holes or bunkers. These zombies are right in front of us! How are we supposed to use it?”

”Brother Zhao Rong, instead of using a Flamethrower, you’d be better off just using an AK-47 to shoot them at close range,” Xuelian added, also feeling that the weapon was unsuitable.
