Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

Before the assistant could finish speaking, Zhao Rong strode forward and smacked him on the head. Pointing to the green object in the water, he said, ”Assistant, look carefully. That’s not a green monster.”

The assistant peered at it, confused. ”If it’s not a water monster, then it must be a giant sea serpent, right?”

Miss Lili thought it looked like the neck of a plesiosaur. ”Bro Zhao Rong,” she said, ”could that be a plesiosaur’s neck? And there’s a huge body behind it...”

Lady Yu Lan believed it was a prehistoric creature. ”Bro Zhao Rong,” she suggested, ”do you think it could be some kind of prehistoric monster?”

Lady Xuelian pulled out her phone and scanned the object. ”Bro Zhao Rong, I just looked it up online. That creature is called a Prehistoric Super Leech.”

While everyone was still confused, Zhao Rong announced, ”Miss Lili, Lady Yu Lan, Lady Xuelian, Assistant, you’re all wrong. That thing is neither a monster nor a prehistoric animal. It’s just seaweed.”

Hearing that the creature they thought was a green water monster was actually just seaweed, the three women and the assistant were so shocked they collapsed on the floor.

Cold sweat beaded on Miss Lili’s forehead. Relieved, she said, ”Thank goodness it’s just seaweed and not a green monster... We would have been in serious trouble otherwise.”

Lady Yu Lan asked Zhao Rong, ”Bro Zhao Rong, does our Noah’s Ark submersible have any underwater weapons? If we run into a monster, we’ll have no way to defend ourselves!”

Lady Xuelian chimed in, ”Bro Zhao Rong, if this submersible doesn’t have any weapons, you should get on your phone right now. Open the Paradise Shopping Cart app and buy something. Otherwise, if we meet a green monster, we’ll be sitting ducks!”

The assistant blinked. No matter how he looked at it, the object still seemed more like a sea monster than seaweed. ”Bro Zhao Rong,” he asked, ”are you sure that’s seaweed and not a monster?”

Zhao Rong pointed to the object floating in the water. ”Assistant, haven’t you realized it’s just kelp?”

Upon hearing this, the assistant promptly fell to the ground in shock again.

With that, Zhao Rong turned to the three women. ”Miss Lili, Lady Yu Lan, Lady Xuelian, don’t worry. Our Noah’s Ark submersible is equipped with various models of torpedoes. The power of these torpedoes is immense. Forget aircraft carriers and submarines; they could even blow apart a Zeus Shield.”

When the three women heard their submersible was armed with torpedoes, they were immediately reassured.

Miss Lili felt a wave of relief. ”Torpedoes are powerful weapons. If a green water monster dares to approach, we’ll just launch one and blow it to smithereens.”

Lady Yu Lan pointed toward a rockery in the water not far away. ”Bro Zhao Rong, to test the power of the submersible’s torpedoes, why don’t you blow up that rockery over there?”

Hearing her request, Zhao Rong walked over to the control room and pressed the red button. The moment he did, a small torpedo launched from the Noah’s Ark submersible, striking the rockery and blasting it into a pile of dust.

When Lady Yu Lan saw how potent the torpedo fired from the submersible was, she smiled. ”It seems we’re perfectly safe now...”

However, before she could finish her sentence, a terrified Lady Xuelian pointed into the distance. ”Bro Zhao Rong, look! There’s a gigantic octopus swimming toward us!”

Hearing her words, the assistant turned and saw a prehistoric giant octopus, more than a hundred times larger than their submersible, gliding toward them. The creature extended its ten tentacles, wrapping them around the Noah’s Ark submersible.

Zhao Rong was also stunned by the sudden appearance of the colossal beast. He swallowed hard and said in utter amazement, ”Oh my God, are you kidding me? I never expected to see an octopus this huge in this deep pool...”

Miss Lili cried out in terror, ”Bro Zhao Rong, what do we do? This prehistoric giant octopus has already captured our Noah’s Ark submersible! If this continues, it’s going to swallow the whole thing!”

Lady Yu Lan said fearfully, ”I read in *The Hundred Thousand Whys* that once something is eaten by a prehistoric giant octopus, its incredibly strong gastric juices will dissolve anything into a pile of pus and absorb it. Bro Zhao Rong, we have to find a way to destroy this thing now! Otherwise, our Noah’s Ark submersible will be digested by its stomach acid!”

Lady Xuelian also pleaded fearfully, ”Bro Zhao Rong, you have to think of something fast! Time is running out. Any longer and we’ll be pulled down its throat, through its gullet, and into its stomach! Once we’re in its stomach, dissolving in gastric acid, we’ll really be done for!”

As the three women panicked, Zhao Rong simply smiled. ”Miss Lili, Lady Yu Lan, Lady Xuelian, there’s no need to worry. This Noah’s Ark submersible is equipped with a weapon specifically designed to deal with creatures like this. Watch. As soon as I press this button, the octopus will let us go.”

Hearing this, a curious Miss Lili asked, ”Bro Zhao Rong, what kind of powerful weapon does this submersible have that can defeat this enormous prehistoric octopus?”
