Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

As Xuelianmei approached, she immediately flexed her biceps. Smiling at Zhao Rong, she said, ”Brother Zhao Rong, from now on, I can not only protect myself, but I can also protect you...”

She continued showing off, exclaiming, ”Brother Zhao Rong, did you see? My strength is so great I can lift a car, even a large crane! I just beat those three foul men who were harassing me until they were running for their lives, crying for their mothers...”

Taking a fish oil capsule from his pocket, Zhao Rong chuckled. ”Xuelianmei, I knew that when the three of you came to this market, you would definitely be harassed by petty thugs. So, I gave you a strength-enhancing drug beforehand.”

Hearing this, it dawned on Xuelianmei. It wasn’t that her own strength had suddenly become so immense; it was simply the effect of the drug Brother Zhao Rong had given her.

But why would Brother Zhao Rong give me this kind of strength-enhancing drug?

Astonished, Xuelianmei asked, ”Brother Zhao Rong, why did you give the three of us a drug that increases our strength and abilities? It’s not like we don’t have you here to protect us...”

With a smile, Zhao Rong explained, ”Xuelianmei, it’s like this... The Paradise Shopping Cart was recently promoting a drug that could enhance abilities, so I bought some to try. I didn’t expect it to actually be this effective.

”If that’s the case, then next time I’m not around, the three of you can take this drug in advance to boost your abilities and strength. That way, even if I’m not by your side, no one will be able to bully you.”

Listening to Zhao Rong, the three women thanked him. ”Thank you so much, Brother Zhao Rong. You really do plan ahead, always thinking of us.”

Zhao Rong grinned. ”Of course. We’re a team, after all.”

However, before Zhao Rong could finish, a man wearing sunglasses and smoking a cigar suddenly rushed over from nearby, a gang of followers in tow. He pointed at Zhao Rong’s group and demanded, ”Who the hell are you people, and where did you come from? How dare you run wild in my town?”

A menacing man standing nearby, holding a machete, barked, ”You outsiders dare to offend our Zhen Zhang? It looks like your time is up!”

When Zhao Rong heard that the imposing man before him was Zhen Zhang, he quickly stepped forward to explain, ”Zhen Zhang, there’s been a misunderstanding. Our group of five didn’t come to your town to cause trouble. It’s just that your town has too many ruffians and hoodlums. Not only did they harass the three women, but they also lured one of the men in our group into a video hall and ambushed him.”

Listening to Zhao Rong, Zhen Zhang retorted unreasonably, ”So what if our townspeople were in the wrong? That doesn’t give you the right to beat them up!”

Standing by, several of his thugs threatened Zhao Rong’s group. ”Since the five of you laid a hand on our people, you’re going to have to pay the price.”

Seeing that the townspeople were hostile, Zhao Rong responded unapologetically, ”So what? Are you unreasonable bastards going to try and keep the five of us here?”

Zhen Zhang laughed, revealing a large gold tooth. ”It’s not about detaining all five of you... As long as the three ladies from your team are willing to stay in our town, that’ll be fine. As for you two men, you can piss off as far as you can.”

Before Zhen Zhang could finish, Lili immediately stepped forward. She sized him up from head to toe and mocked, ”You idiot, Zhen Zhang, have you even looked at yourself? You’re a literal pile of dog shit. You think three women like us would stay in this town to keep you company? You’re daydreaming. Just drop dead already!”

Yu Lan added her own ridicule, ”You disgusting man, you’re uglier than Zhu Bajie, your belly is bigger than An Lushan’s, and your legs are shorter than Wu Dalang’s. Yet you still dare to get ideas about us? I see you’re just a toad lusting after swan meat!”

Xuelianmei then cursed him viciously, ”You pervert! Go fuck yourself and drop dead!”

With that, the three women had thoroughly routed Zhen Zhang with a 3-0 torrent of insults. When the crowd heard them berate such a prominent figure in their town, they burst into laughter.

”In our town, Zhen Zhang has always been the top dog,” a candy hawthorn seller chuckled. ”Forget about cursing him; anyone who even glares at him would be beaten to death. I never expected three women to show up today and give him such a tongue-lashing. It’s so satisfying!”

An old lady selling cold noodles laughed even harder. ”The Zhen Zhang of this town has always been fearless, but I didn’t expect someone who could finally make him cower would come today. Especially these three sharp-tongued women. They’ve scolded him into silence! It’s such a joy to watch!”

A young man selling cotton candy laughed out loud. ”Looks like Zhen Zhang won’t dare to be so arrogant from now on. Some people finally came today to put him in his place.”

After being fiercely berated by the three women and hearing the crowd’s laughter, Zhen Zhang was so furious his lungs felt ready to explode. Bristling with rage, he thumped his chest, stamped his feet, and roared, ”You dare mock me? Do you have any idea who I am? I’ll show you what real power looks like! Let’s see you try to curse me then!”

With that, Zhen Zhang commanded his henchmen, ”Brothers, grab your machetes, Wolf Fang Clubs, axes, daggers, revolvers, AK-47 rifles, and Thompson submachine guns! Don’t hold back! Rush them and kill all five of them! Don’t leave anyone alive, not even the three women!”

Hearing their leader’s command, the thugs charged toward Zhao Rong’s group, shouting, ”Kill without mercy! Leave none behind! Those who submit will prosper, those who resist shall perish!”

When the onlookers saw the horde of thugs charging to kill Zhao Rong and his group, they all shut their eyes, unable to bear watching. ”It’s over,” they murmured. ”A massacre is about to unfold right before our eyes...”
