Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

At this critical juncture, Zhao Rong immediately warned the three women behind him, ”Lili, Yu Lan, Xuelian, hide under that table! Let me deal with this gang of ax-wielding men in black.” As he spoke, Zhao Rong pulled the Dharma Sword from his Magic Ring, preparing to fight.

Just as he was about to charge forward and wipe them all out, a desperate shout came from the nearby stage. His assistant, who was tied to a stripper pole, suddenly screamed, ”Zhao Rong, don’t attack yet! Save me first!”

When Zhao Rong saw that his assistant had been stripped naked and tied to the pole, he exclaimed in surprise, ”Assistant, what happened to you? I just saw you dancing with a group of beautiful women a moment ago! How did you end up tied to a pole, with two men in suits and sunglasses holding axes standing next to you?”

Hearing this, the assistant sighed regretfully. ”I’m so damn unlucky! I was dancing when everything suddenly went dark. When I opened my eyes, all those beauties were gone. In their place was a bunch of men in suits and sunglasses, holding axes. I have no idea what happened...”

Hiding under the table, Lili glared at the assistant’s pathetic state and cursed angrily, ”You big pervert! If we weren’t trying to save you, we never would have come back!”

Yu Lan was even more furious. She snatched a beer bottle from the table, threw it at the assistant, and yelled, ”You’re such a jinx! We always have to pay a high price to save you. And look now! We came back only for Zhao Rong to be surrounded by these thugs!”

Xuelian then warned the assistant, ”Watch out for flying axes, you might get hurt! Once Zhao Rong makes his move, these men in black will surely be sent flying to the ceiling.”

Before the three of them could finish, a bald man stepped forward and mocked Zhao Rong’s group. ”You idiots, still talking tough when you’re about to die? Don’t you know we are the boss’s final line of defense, the 13 Bodyguards?”

When Zhao Rong heard the man call themselves the 13 Bodyguards, he laughed. ”I live for beating up shameless posers like you. The 13 Bodyguards? What a load of crap. Now, come and die!”

Hearing Zhao Rong’s words, the bald man roared with laughter. ”Don’t underestimate the axes in our hands. They’re a high-tech product. You’ll soon see just how powerful we are with them.”

With that, the bald man led his group of suit-wearing, ax-wielding men in a charge.

Facing these ferocious villains, Zhao Rong didn’t hesitate for a second. He immediately charged forward, Dharma Sword in hand. However, as he clashed with the ax-wielding men, he suddenly realized he wasn’t fighting humans, but a group of robots. Their bodies were as hard as machines. No matter if Zhao Rong hacked at them with the Dharma Sword, kicked them, or punched them, he inflicted no harm. It couldn’t even slow their advance.

He had no choice but to step back. Pulling the Piercing Eye glasses from his pocket, he put them on and took a careful look at the men in black. What he saw shocked him. Through his lenses, the men appeared to be flesh and blood wearing suits on the outside, but inside, they were composed entirely of hard steel—robotic skeletons and mechanical organs.

Zhao Rong licked his lips and took off the Piercing Eye glasses. He sucked in a sharp breath and looked at the group before him. ”Holy shit. I can’t believe you’re a bunch of poser robots. No wonder you were talking so big.”

When the bald man heard that Zhao Rong had discovered their secret, he laughed with pride. ”Since you know we’re all robots, why don’t you surrender and beg for mercy? Maybe we’ll hand you over to our bosses, Hong Ju and Zhou Xiaoer, alive. Otherwise, we’ll capture you, grind you into mincemeat, wrap you into dumplings, and feed them to our boss’s vicious dog!”

When the three women and the assistant heard that all the men in black were robots, they began to worry for Zhao Rong. ”Zhao Rong, what should we do? If you can’t beat them, we should retreat! The dozens of people in this ballroom are all robots. How can you, a single human, possibly defeat so many?”

Tied to the stripper pole on the stage, the assistant gave up all hope. ”Zhao Rong, you guys go. Don’t worry about me. Just let me die here...”

Just as everyone lost faith, believing Zhao Rong stood no chance against the robots, he suddenly let out a roar. He swung his Dharma Sword, knocking the ax out of a nearby robot’s hands. He then smiled and said, ”So, you guys are all robots... but I have a way to turn you back into real humans.”

With that, Zhao Rong moved with incredible speed, knocking the axes from the hands of all the men in black.

Once they were disarmed, he once again put on his Piercing Eye glasses and observed the group. The moment Zhao Rong had knocked the axes from their hands, the machinery inside their bodies vanished, replaced by ordinary human flesh and blood.

Zhao Rong burst out laughing. He pointed the Dharma Sword at the men before him and taunted, ”You bunch of posers! Don’t think you can act so arrogant just because you have special axes that turn you into robots. Now that I’ve used my Dharma Sword to knock those magical toys out of your hands, let’s see how arrogant you can be!”

As he spoke, Zhao Rong kicked one of the nearby men who had dropped his ax. The man, whose body had seemed as hard as an iron wall just moments ago, couldn’t withstand a single blow. He was sent flying to the ground, where he lay in pain, unable to get back up.
