Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

The assistant, cradling a huge fish oil capsule, looked at Zhao Rong with delighted surprise. ”Brother Zhao Rong, you didn’t just kill those two monster fish, you refined them into a fish oil capsule? That’s incredible!”

She then looked down adoringly at the super-sized capsule in her arms.

When the old turtle hiding in the back saw that Zhao Rong had killed the lake’s two tyrants, he hurriedly rushed over to grovel. ”Big Brother, you’re truly amazing! I’m in total awe; I could kowtow to your greatness! Since the moment you entered this lake with your oxygen tank and diving suit, you’ve eliminated the two bullies who lorded over this place for years!”

Retracting the Samadhi Fire, Zhao Rong shot a glare at the useless old turtle. ”You really are a cowardly turtle, always hiding in your shell. What a waste of the 800 years you’ve spent in this lake cultivating the abilities of a Turtle Hermit.”

The old turtle bowed to Zhao Rong and the assistant again in apology. ”Sirs, I’m truly sorry. Perhaps we turtles are just timid by nature. Whenever we encounter danger, our first instinct is to hide inside our shells. Please forgive me.”

Holding the massive fish oil capsule, the assistant stepped forward and glared menacingly at the old turtle, pointing at his nose as she berated him. ”You’re such a fair-weather friend, just blowing whichever way the wind blows! At first, I actually respected you because of your age, but now you’re nothing but trash in my eyes. Enough talk! Lead the way for me and Brother Zhao Rong. Find the wooden plug at the center of the lake so we can pass through the black hole, leave this place, and enter the canyon.”

At the assistant’s command, the old turtle hurried to the front to lead the way, saying obsequiously, ”Sirs, please don’t worry. I’ll lead you right now. We’ll find the black hole and I’ll get you out of here.”

With that, the old turtle swam ahead, and Zhao Rong and the assistant followed in their diving suits.

After swimming for over five hours, the trio finally arrived at the center of the lake. The old turtle pointed to a cylindrical stone. ”Sirs, we’ve arrived. This stone is the plug sealing the black hole.”

The assistant swam forward and knocked on it. Frowning, she questioned the old turtle, ”Old Turtle, are you blind? Can’t you see this is stone, not wood?”

Before she could finish, Zhao Rong summoned the Demon Sword from his Magic Ring and struck the object. The surface he hit shattered instantly. It turned out to be wood after all. Over a long period, it had petrified and was on the verge of turning into coal, which was why it looked so much like stone.

Seeing that it was indeed wood, the assistant awkwardly scratched the back of her head and said sheepishly to the old turtle, ”Oh, so it really is wood. I thought it was stone.”

She then swam forward and knocked on the incredibly hard wood, which had petrified to the consistency of coal. ”Old Turtle, if we pull this out, will the black hole appear? And then we can follow it out of this killer storm to the outside world?”

The old turtle nodded. ”Yes. As long as we remove this plug, we can follow the black hole to the outside world.”

Hearing this, the assistant frowned. She estimated the boulder must weigh at least fifty tons. In a troubled voice, she said, ”We may have found the path to the outside world... but how can we possibly pull such a massive boulder out of this hole?”

Seeing the assistant’s distress, the old turtle stepped forward and pressed his shell against the huge boulder. ”Don’t worry,” he said. ”I, the old turtle, am here! I’ll use my shell to knock this thing loose, and then we can get out.”

With that, the old turtle began ramming the massive boulder with all his might.

Standing to the side, Zhao Rong watched the turtle’s shell and was suddenly reminded of a quote: *Give me a lever long enough, and I shall move the Earth...*

So, Zhao Rong stepped forward. ”Old Turtle, stop ramming the boulder with your shell,” he said. ”I’m afraid if you keep going, the boulder won’t move, but your shell will shatter.”

With that, Zhao Rong told the old turtle to lie down on the lakebed a short distance from the boulder. He then took out his phone, opened the Paradise Shopping Cart, and began searching for a lever.

When the assistant saw Zhao Rong tell the old turtle to lie still, she approached, puzzled. ”Brother Zhao Rong, what are you doing? Aren’t you going to let him knock the boulder out of the way?”

Right now, the only way to move this boulder is to have this old turtle keep ramming it with his shell until he knocks it out of the black hole, she thought. Otherwise, there’s really no other way.

Before the assistant could finish her thought, Zhao Rong received a very long package. Seeing it, she swam over in surprise and stared at the delivery with confusion. ”Brother Zhao, what’s in that package? Did you buy a detonator? Are you planning to blow up this boulder so we can get through the black hole to the outside world?”

When Zhao Rong opened the package, a very long rod emerged.

The assistant stared at the long rod, her brow furrowed in disbelief. ”Brother Zhao Rong, to clear a path, you need to buy explosives, a detonator, or TNT! What are you going to do with a long rod? Don’t tell me you plan to smash this boulder to pieces with it? That’s impossible! Brother Zhao Rong, you should return it! It would be much more practical to buy some high explosives from the Paradise Shopping Cart.”

Before the assistant could finish, Zhao Rong wedged one end of the long rod under the massive boulder. He then balanced the middle of the rod on the old turtle’s shell, using it as a fulcrum. Finally, he stood on the far end of the rod.

The assistant stared at the bizarre scene, unable to comprehend what was happening. ”Brother Zhao, what on earth are you doing? We need to move this boulder to get through the black hole and reach the outside world! What’s the point of setting up a long rod like that?”
