Peerless Bodyguard of a Stunning Beauty

The assistant looked at Zhao Rong in surprise and said, ”Brother Zhao Rong, did that bottle of old yogurt grant you magical powers? How did your pecs get so developed?”

Upon hearing this, Zhao Rong immediately glanced down at his chest. He hadn’t noticed before, but one look was enough to give him a shock. His once-firm pectoral muscles had suddenly gone slack, drooping all the way down to his navel.

Lili covered her eyes and said in horror, ”Brother Zhao Rong, how did you grow breasts? And they look like they belong to a woman over fifty...”

Yu Lan noticed that the beard on Zhao Rong’s chin was gone. His formerly tanned, rough skin had instantly become fair, tender, and so smooth it looked like a single touch could break it. She gasped and stared at him in disbelief. ”Brother Zhao Rong, where did your beard go? And your skin... it’s become so smooth, even better than ours...”

Meanwhile, Xuelian saw that the murderous glint in Zhao Rong’s eyes had vanished, replaced by a feminine gentleness. She swallowed hard. Scarcely believing it, she said, ”Brother, I feel like you’ve changed from a man into a woman...” As she spoke, Xuelian took out a compact mirror from her pocket and handed it to him.

Zhao Rong took the mirror, his voice coming out in a high-pitched squeak. ”No way, Xuelian. How could a real man like me turn into a woman?”

But before Zhao Rong could finish, the high-pitched, feminine sound coming from his throat made the assistant and the three women fall to the ground in astonishment.

The assistant scrambled up from the ground, pointed at Zhao Rong, and exclaimed, ”Brother Zhao Rong, you really have become a woman! Your voice is even higher than a woman’s...”

Lili even took out her phone, searched online for the characteristics of a eunuch, and said, ”Brother Zhao Rong, don’t tell me you castrated yourself after drinking that old yogurt. Otherwise, why would your voice be so shrill?”

Yu Lan looked Zhao Rong up and down and suggested, ”Brother Zhao Rong, you should quickly take the gender detector out of your Magic Ring and check yourself. I really suspect you’ve changed from a man into a woman.”

Xuelian said in disbelief, ”Brother Zhao Rong, I always dreamed you would ride a rainbow cloud to come and marry me. What am I supposed to do if you’ve turned into a woman? In this entire world, you’re the only man I could ever love...”

Even Zhao Rong himself couldn’t believe it. His masculine features had vanished, replaced by feminine ones. He frantically took the gender detector from his Magic Ring and said to the others in a panic, ”Don’t tell me the seller from the Paradise Shopping Cart sent the wrong item and turned me from a man into a woman!”

As he spoke, he activated the gender detector on himself. While he was busy with the test, the assistant and the three women had already begun to argue about his gender.

The assistant was firmly convinced. With a smirk, he said, ”Ladies, I’m certain Zhao Rong has become a woman. All of his male characteristics are gone. If you don’t believe me, just wait. When he’s done with the test, you’ll see the word ’Female’ on the detector.”

Lili argued back, ”Impossible! A manly man like Brother Zhao Rong could never turn into a woman.”

Yu Lan stepped forward and glared at the assistant. ”You’d better not be gloating. If Brother Zhao Rong has turned into a woman, we’ll castrate you too! Then you can keep him company!”

Hearing this, the terrified assistant immediately clapped his hands over his crotch.

Xuelian was on the verge of tears. ”Assistant, tell me, what will I do if Brother Zhao Rong really has turned into a woman?”

The assistant offered his advice. ”Xuelian, don’t be discouraged or sad. It’s actually a simple problem. If Brother Zhao Rong is a woman, you can’t marry a woman, can you? So, you should just marry a real man... like me.”

Before he could finish, Xuelian slapped him soundly across the face. She spat and snarled, ”Stop daydreaming! Even if you were the last and manliest man on Earth, I would never marry you! In my heart, there is only Brother Zhao Rong. Even if he became a eunuch, I would still marry him, take care of her for the rest of my life, and love her forever!”

Hearing this, the assistant thought indignantly. You three are all talk now. We’ll see how you cry when Brother Zhao Rong really becomes a woman...

He glanced back at Zhao Rong and sneered inwardly. Brother Zhao Rong, you’re always so high and mighty... Sometimes you don’t even treat me like a human being. Now look at you, in such a difficult and awkward situation... I’m just going to sit back and enjoy the show.

But just when the assistant was certain the gender detector would confirm Zhao Rong was a woman, something surprising happened. After the professional-grade device completed its analysis, it confirmed that Zhao Rong was still, in fact, a man.

When Zhao Rong, the assistant, and the three women saw the results, their reactions were all different.

Zhao Rong let out a huge sigh of relief, looked to the heavens, and declared, ”Thank goodness I didn’t turn into a woman. I don’t know how I would have ever faced the folks back home...”

Lili said excitedly, ”That’s fantastic! Brother Zhao Rong didn’t turn into a woman! This is the best news ever!”

Yu Lan thanked the heavens, saying, ”Thank heaven and earth for letting Brother Zhao Rong stay a man forever. Please don’t ever let him become a woman...”

Xuelian was so excited she burst into tears. With tears and snot running down her face, she sobbed, ”Brother Zhao Rong, you really are a man! This is wonderful! If you really were a woman, then I’d be willing to love a woman...”

In contrast to the women’s joy, the assistant said incredulously, ”Bro, I saw your smooth skin, fair complexion, and lack of a beard, and I was sure you were turning into a woman. How can you still be a man?”

However, before the assistant could finish, the shopkeeper sent a voice message to Zhao Rong.

”Brother, sorry about that! We sent you the wrong product... We sent you the ’Korean Idol Boy Band’ beauty serum by mistake...”
